Fantastic theme with great support. The way it’s set up made it easy to install and the backend was easy to customise. Thanks dudes for putting the love in to this x

Thanks so much for the kind words! We’re so happy you’re loving Cassia :-)

Hi, thanks for you theme, i love it. I use it since many month but i want that “l’image à la une” (maybe in english is “post thumbnails” ?) don’t be in the post… how can i do ? (i hope your understand me, i’m not good in english :/) Gabriel

Hi there,

To hide ALL of the featured images from displaying within the post and homepage and archive pages (like category pages), you can instead use this following CSS code:
.post-img {display: none;}

thanks !

Hello, I wanted to add a category description on the page. I follow the instruction on https://solopine.ticksy.com/article/4520/ for cassia theme but I don’t have any “category.php” in the editor. Can someone help me please ?

Hi there,

For Cassia, you can find it within the file titled “archive.php” instead :-)

Cheers!

Thank you =D

Hi !

I saw a few answers about my issue but no one which help me a lot^^ I would like to display a background (image or color) and keep the wrapper of my articles in white. A little bit like this site : http://oiseaurose.com/

Is it also possible to add widget in the footer such as social media etc ?

Thanks for your help !

Hi there,

While it is possible to apply a background color and make the content area white, this may create some issues with padding and spacing as Cassia wasn’t developed specifically to allow this. The sidebar and content will flow right up to the edge of the colored background. To see what this would look like, you can add the following to your Custom CSS:
body {background-color: #......;} #wrapper {background-color: #......;}
Adding padding to all of the different floating elements within the container would then require quite a bit of CSS code adjustment to make sure everything remained looking nicely and remained responsive. To do this, you would likely want to look into a freelancer who could make all of the CSS adjustments for you.

For widgetizing Cassia’s footer, I’m afraid this would take more customization than we can assist with within basic theme support. If it’s important to you, I would recommend considering a freelancer. http://studio.envato.com has a big directory of freelancers for hire. The footer area does have a social media bar built-in, though. :-)

Cheers!

Hello ! Is it possible to change the background of the category name. In fact, I would like to set an image or a color behind the name of my category page =)

I was wondering is Cassia supports other social media networks than the standard or if there is an option to insert a new icon manually without touching the code? Thanks

Hi there,

It is definitely possible to add social media icons to the theme that aren’t included in the default options, though you’ll need to add its code into the theme files. Cassia uses the Font Awesome icons, so any icon they offer can technically be added to the theme with your preferred social network linking URL ( http://fontawesome.io/icons/ ).

If you’d like a hand adding a particular icon into Cassia that isn’t included by default, we’d be happy to help. You can head over to our support site at https://solopine.ticksy.com and open up a new support ticket.

Hello,

I have few pre-purchase questions: is there a possibility to use own company’s font and colours? is there a possibility to division of articles into categories? whether the user has the opportunity to comment post without registration? whether the user has the ability to share content through social media? whether the articles could be displayed in two versions: in the form of grid and list? is the homepage include a slider of promoted articles? Thank you for your answer! K.

Hi K,

Thanks for your interest!

1) To change Cassia’s fonts we like to recommend Google Fonts. We have an article on how to go about that here: https://solopine.ticksy.com/article/2721/

Otherwise, to use webfonts that you’ve purchased, you can use a plugin such as https://wordpress.org/plugins/use-any-font/ which will apply the webfont to your theme.

2) Yes, you are very welcome to assign categories to your posts and then create category pages which will pull in all posts assigned with a particular category.

3) Yes, WP lets you choose if you’d like commenters to be registered or not.

4) You can view Cassia’s post social share icons beneath each post on the demo site: http://solopine.com/cassia

5) Cassia offers a standard post layout and a list post layout. I’m afraid it doesn’t currently offer a grid layout.

6) You are very welcome to view the theme’s featured post slider on the homepage of the demo site here: http://solopine.com/cassia/?slider_type=slider&layout_type=list

Cheers!

Hi there,

Can you give us a css code to disable flex slider on mobile version ?

Best regards

Hi there,

If you’d like to hide Cassia’s featured area slider on mobile screen sizes, you can copy & paste the following into Appearance > Cassia Options > Custom CSS:
@media only screen and (max-width: 767px) { .blog .flexslider {display: none;} }
Cheers!
