Hi, I just purchased your great template and am having trouble with a few basic things to start. –

How do i get the google map on the contact widget? I entered the longitude and latitude on the theme settings page but the map is not showing.

Thanks —Adam

Hi, I checked your site looks like there’s no problem with your google map now.

Hello, can you please post info on how to enable S3 slider. I have podered around quite a bit, and can’t make it work. Thank you.

Hello, if you want to use s3slider, you dont need to set your homepage as static front page in Settings => Reading options, just leave all options as WordPress default.

Hi, I was wondering if there was a way to change the font size for the submenus (the drop downs from the menu toolbar).

Thanks —Adam

Hi, try to add the following css code in theme options => styling options => custom css :

.jqueryslidemenu ul li ul li a,
.jqueryslidemenu ul li ul li a:link,
.jqueryslidemenu ul li ul li a:visited{
  font-size: 16px;
decrease 16px with your own size.

I tried that, maybe i didnt enter it in the correct place, but now i am getting this error:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ’<’ in /home/content/91/9979991/html/wordpress/wp-content/themes/centita/centita/admin/theme-options.php on line 449

And i deleted the new text and now the site wont load at all and it is giving me the same error.

ok just contact me from my profile page with your site login, let me check directly at your site.

I need easy to follow instructions on how to create a new sidebar for a new page. This is a pretty important request. thanks!

Hi, you can modify this from functions/theme-widgets.php file, there’s code block for sidebar name, you can add your sidebar name there, also you need to add this in functions/metabox.php file and sidebar.php file, or you can use sidebar plugin as replacement.

Hi there,

We’re trying to get the theme up and running but are having problems with the slider, it just doesn’t seem to load:

We’ve followed all the instructions in the documentation and have an image loaded in:

If you could please advise us on what to do then that would be great.

Hi, did you tried to add more slideshow items at your site, I checked your site and there’s only one slideshow item there.

Hi there, I’m having some problems related to Google Maps API .

I don’t know how to create a Map application to use Google Map API and just need to embed the html code in the contact page.

If I do this and embed the html code within Google Map API Key box, I get an error before the page gets uploaded.

Question: how can I disable the needed Google Maps API and just embed html from Google Maps?

Hi, you need to modify the code for this, please open functions/theme-widgets.php file and find the following code :

<?php echo theme_widget_text_shortcode(do_shortcode('[gmap width="274" height="225" latitude="'.$info_latitude.'" longitude="'.$info_longitude.'" zoom="15" html="'.$info_address.'" popup="true"]'));?>
now you can replace the code with your actual google map embed code.

It’s me again: how can I edit contact form Labels (name, subject, etc.). I need them to be translated.

you can find this in contact-form.php file.

I need new sidebars to be created for 3 new pages on my site. when logged into wordpress as admin, widgets.php page has only the following already setup:

Homepage Sidebar Homepage Box 1 Homepage Box 2 General Sidebar About Page Services Page Blog Sidebar Single Post Contact Sidebar These are good but I need them for each page on my site to be different and we are using a few pages in addition to what is on centita default.

I need Regions Sidebar, Contact Sidebar, and Careers Sidebar.

I asked 4 posts ago in a different way but do not understand what needs to be done. functions/theme-widgets.php and metabox.php do not say “side bar”, side-bar”, or “sidebar” anywhere in them when I look at them in a notepad editor. I don’t see any code that I’m able to identify that adds the sidebars that already exist on the widgets.php page. Please include step by step instructions with screen shots so I can understand this better. The need is growing urgent and my client does not understand why this is not possible with the template so I am under much pressure to accommodate very soon.

Hi, the widget places only available from predefined widget places, if you want to have unique sidebar widget place, you can use plugin to accommodate your requirement.

Hi, I’m trying to set up a slideshow with Nivo slider, but the slides don’t show up. I have Reading settings set to front page and blog page, and I have 3 slides uploaded in the slideshow. All three are 960×280. I can see the little dots at the bottom, but the pictures don’t show up. Please help.

Thanks in Advance,

I have a little problem with this theme, when i put “centita page to box” or “Centita Post to box” in the widget “homepage box1” i can’t see the thumbnail. And when i put in “home page side bar” a “featured widget” i can’t see anything. how i can made a featured project ? Could you help me Thx Best regards

hi, i’ve found the problem, i have not this file timthumb.php in my version, could you give it to me ???

Timthumb.php is a library that many WordPress Themes use to resize images automatically. The problem is that there is a flaw that allows a malicious attacker to execute arbitrary PHP code from the cache directory Timthumb.

Not cool and dangerous!

To protect you from this vulnerability, connect to your server and locate the file timthumb.php. In general, they are in the script directory of the theme you are using. You can find it more easily with the following command:

find. -name ‘timthumb.php’

Once the file is found Timthumb.php, edit and change line 27 from this: $allowedSites = array ( ‘’, ‘’, ‘’, ‘’, ‘’, ‘’, );

$allowedSites = array ();

istill dont’know how to make a featured project please help me…

Hi, I have removed timthumb.php functionality in latest version (2.2), since there’s an issue with some hosting provider from the buyer, you can update your centita theme to latest version, you can download the latest version from your themeforest download link.

About 3 years ago i designed my site using your thema Centita version 1.2.

It still is going strong, but unfortunately I messed up the slider a bit. Now only nothumbnail.jpg (I renamed an image so it? shows my own) is showing up in the slider. I set different images as feautured image in the pages. Can you see what is wrong?

Also I wonder if I should get updates from your theme. I don get any, how come?

Sorry for any inconvenience, but you did not have a “Purchased” badge.

I have downloaded the latest version (2.2) but have two problems.

1. Home box icon: a. Thumbnails are not visible after being uploaded in the backend. Still referring to wp-content/themes/centita/timthumb.php?src b. Can I remove the thumbnails from the home boxes?

2. Nivo Slider: - Just doesnt work. There are three slides being shown but no images.

1. be sure you have uploaded all updated theme files, the timthumb.php script has been removed in latest verison

2. did you have set your image at Featured Image box for your slideshow items?

I’d like to make a site that looks like your demo. Which slideshow program did you use? Right now, I’m using your default homepage settings and I can see the dots in the center on the bottom a black bar on the left that says slideshow item #1, etc. but the picture doesn’t show up.

It worked before I tried to upload my own pictures into a slideshow using the settings in the theme. Now nothing works. Since I’m working on a development server w/an ip address, I don’t want to post it in this message.

Thanks in advance for any help you can give me.

Love the theme guys, really great work

A few simple things:

10 How do I disable comments on the blog (tried from wp settings but no joy)

2) I can’t get the map to display the right location. It is set to Russia and no matter what I put in the long and lat it won’t change.

Here is my site domain

Sorry to be a pain but I have a deadline in 48 hours so some quick response will be most welcome.

Hi there, in response to my lat post I have managed to sort out the blog comments but I am still having trouble with my map.

It is displayed on the home page in the sidebar in the office info widget. I have put in the lat and long but it will not display the right location.

I can provide wo log in but I really need to sort this out today.

ok just send your login info from my profile page, let me check directly at your site.

Any Joy Inonez ? I’m passed my deadline now :(

Already fixed at your site, the problem because you have not configure theme options => pages & categories tab.

Hi, My Theme options do not have a field called “Google Map API key” referred to in theme documentation. The first field I see is “Latitude” and when I put my coordinates in, nothing shows in the widget – just empty div “google_map_848” What should I do? Kate

Please look at the second part of my post: when I put my coordinates in, nothing shows in the widget – just empty div “google_map_848” My map isn’t working – although I set up coordinates correctly, the widget is empty. See here

I have solved this problem on my own. Turns out you are not allowed to put line breaks in your “Address” field, this will cause a JS error and map will not load. @Indonez – I think you should look into it and fix your theme.

Hi, basically you just need to write your info address in one line, btw thanks for your suggestion and sharing.

Hi Guys,

Having a bit of an issue with accessing the site from a mobile device. It seems that we are being redirected to a number of adult sites. The site works perfectly from a computer access it just seems to be from the mobile phones.

I contacted the hosting company and they said the ht.access file is causing this redirect. It hasnt been changed since August this year but is suddenly causing this redirect. And that the developer would know how to resolve this issue.

As you can imagine my client is very upset that this is redirecting to unsavoury links.

Please let me know how to resolve this asap!

Please try to update your centita theme to latest version, you can download the latest version from your themeforest download link.

Will installing this update reset everything we have tweaked and edited since we installed?

I updated to the newer version and the site it STILL being redirected to adult sites from mobile/cell access.

I really need to get this sorted for the client as they are furious with this.

I have a question regarding the formatting of the Centita theme. I would like my homepage to have the slideshow at the top of the page (below the menu) as it the case, however below this I would like to have a full width section that I can populate like a normal page instead of the two columns and side widget. How can I make this happen without loosing the slideshow?

Also, I have a page title called “Practice Areas” which is long enough that ‘Practice’ and ‘Areas’ are split onto different lines. None of the other pages has this and therefore it looks unprofessional. Is there a way to make the menu width scale with the title length?

Many thanks

Thanks Indonez,

I am still working on my site and haven’t published it yet so I cannot show you the issue with the menus. However looking through your responses to other similar questions here in the comments I have been able to find a work around. However when the menu items are all on the one line, the grey menu bar is too high (I can email you a screencapture if required)

1. How can I reduce the height of the grey bar on which the menu resides?

2. Is it possible to reduce the space between the bottom of the logo and the top of the grey menu area.

and finally, I was unable to successfully use the code you suggested for the fill width page. Ideally I’d like to simply get rid of the feature boxes on the front page. I.e. keep the welcome message section and the widget area on the right. If I leave them blank in the Centita Homepage settings then they are populated with the sample data.

3. How is it possible to remove both of the feature boxes from the homepage?

Many thanks

1) try to add the following css code in theme options => styling options => custom css :

#menu-wrapper { height: 74px}
reduce 74px with your own height size.

2) try to add the following css code in theme options => styling options => custom css :

#header-wrapper { height: 58px; }
reduce 58px with your own height size.

3) to remove the homepage feature boxes, please open index.php file, find and remove all code inside <div class="box">...</div> div box, there’s two box section there.

Thank you
