Hello, I encounter three problems after installing your theme: - my titles do not take the format “capitalize” or other than none: it’s true in home page or in archive’s page. - my photos are systematically modified without respecting the original format (often square): not at all masonry style for home or archive ? - and in full screen they appear linked and not one by one on a black background … (Http://pliurbain.fr/index.php/2018/02/28/montmartre-neige-phrase-urbaine-poesie/)

my website: pliurbain.fr

thanks

Hi,

Thanks for contacting us. Please see below:

1. Page title & Post title

The title format can be changed in customizer.

Please open your customizer (go to your site admin panel > Appearance > Customize), then go to “Typography” > “Post Title” > “Text Transform”, choose “Capitalize” or “None”. Please see this screenshot as reference: https://d.pr/NFCqDr

To change the Page Title’s format, also in the customizer, please go to “Typography” > “Page Title” > “Text Transform”, choose “Capitalize” or “None”. Please see this screenshot as reference: https://d.pr/xSVXdP

If the title format still doesn’t change after you made changes in the customizer, please create a temporary admin account for us and let us log into your site so that we can look into it for you. Please send the login credentials to us via email: general@loftocean.com

2. Square photos on homepage or archive

We can see that the layout of the posts on your home page is “Grid”, and the featured images of the posts will be displayed in a 2:3 ratio so that the layout looks neat and consistent.

In the next update of the CeraMag theme, we will add an option to allow users to change the aspect ratio of the photos in the “Grid” layout.

(By the way, if you’d like to get this feature as soon as possible without waiting for us to release the next update, please email us your login credentials so that we can add this feature for you.)

Archive page – we can see that the layout of the posts on your category archive pages is “Zigzag”, and the featured images of the posts are displayed in a 1:1 ratio. Would you like to change the photo aspect ratio for “Zigzag” layout?

3. Slider gallery – fullscreen

We have checked the post you mentioned, but the fullscreen slider gallery works as it should be. When the gallery is zoomed into fullscreen, you can slide the photos by clicking the left or right arrow. Please see this screencast: https://d.pr/sP1D1U

You can check our demo page to see an example of a fullscreen slider gallery: http://demo.loftocean.com/ceramag/fashion/30-best-photos-street-view/

Hi,

Sorry but currently the theme doesn’t have the feature to change the font size of menu. We will include this feature in the next update of CeraMag theme. Thanks for bringing this up.

If you’d like to get this feature without waiting for us to release the next update, please email us your login credentials so that we can add this feature for you. Our email address: general@loftocean.com

Thanks!

Hi! Since I installed ceramag’s theme on my website, I noticed our direct traffic grew and our organic dropped a little (excluding an AMP plugin we installed and already deleted).

I searched on a few forums and a theory that I think that might make sense is that a script that includes a javascript reload of the page may be causing this increase on direct traffic.

I used google developers tool and found a reload script on our blog: “var ceramag_cookie_device_pixel_ratio=(document.cookie.indexOf(‘device_pixel_ratio’)!=-1)?document.cookie.split(‘device_pixel_ratio=’)[1].split(’;’)[0]:1;if((‘devicePixelRatio’in window)&&ceramag_cookie_device_pixel_ratio!=window.devicePixelRatio){var date=new Date();date.setTime(date.getTime()3600000);document.cookie=’device_pixel_ratio=’+window.devicePixelRatio’;’’ expires=’+date.toUTCString()’; path=/’;if(document.cookie.indexOf(‘device_pixel_ratio’)!=-1){window.location.reload();}}”

I’d like to know if you guys could help me with that. Do you think this is what may be causing the problem? Can we delete this from our website?

Here’s the data you asked:

Your website URL: https://blog.onemarket.com.br/ Which version of the theme you are using: version 1.1.10

Hi LoftOcean Team,

I updated my CeraMag theme and then all the main page images’ resolutions are broken. How can I fix it?

Thanks for help

Best, Umut

Hi Umut,

Thanks for contacting us. We checked your site but it seems that everything is fine. Please see this screenshot: https://d.pr/FREE/gtPlVF

If your site home page should look like it appears in this screenshot, then please clear your browser cache and check again.

Or, if your site home page should not look like it appears in this screenshot, could you please provide more information so that we can look into this problem for you?

1. Which posts layout did you choose? “Grid 3 Cols”?

2. If your selected posts layout is “Grid 3 Cols”, a new option “Grid Featured Image Orientation” will appear (a new feature added in the latest version: v1.2.1). Which image orientation did you choose? “Landscape” (the default value is “Landscape”)?

3. Or, have you had previous screenshots of your site so that we can use to compare?

Thank you very much.

Best regards,

The Loft.Ocean Team
