Hello, I’d like to show tag description and tag image on single tag page – the same as on category page. How can I do this? I want tag header the same as category header.

Thank you!

Hi Daniel,

Thanks for purchasing.

Sorry but currently CeraMag theme doesn’t provide those features for tag archives page. We will add them in the next update. Thank you for bringing this up!

Hi,

Thanks for contacting.

The homepage is consisted with 3 sections so users can customize their site into different look to suit their needs:

1. Top Slider

2. Featured Section

3. Latest Posts

To make your site homepage look like on www.yoldabiblog.com, you only need to turn on “Top Slider” and “Latest Posts”. Please follow the steps below:

1. On your site dashboard, please go to “Appearance” > “Customize”. Please see the screenshot: http://www.loftocean.com/ceramag/wp-content/uploads/sites/6/2017/10/open-customizer.jpg

2. Hide “Featured Section” on your homepage. Please go to “Home Page” > “Featured Section”, then don’t tick the checkbox of option “Display Featured Section”. Please see this screenshot: http://www.loftocean.com/ceramag/wp-content/uploads/sites/6/2017/10/turn-off-featured-section.png

3. Change the “Latest Posts” layout. Go to “Latest Posts”, choose “Grid 3 Cols” for “Posts Layout”, choose “All” for “Show Posts From”, and enter any number (for example, 10) for “Number of Posts displayed Per Page”. Please see this screenshot: http://www.loftocean.com/ceramag/wp-content/uploads/sites/6/2017/10/customize-latest-posts.png

By the way, we have checked your site and found currently there are only 5 posts. To display at least 10 articles on the main page you will need to write more posts (not pages). Please see this screenshot: http://www.loftocean.com/ceramag/wp-content/uploads/sites/6/2017/10/write-more-posts.jpg

And we highly recommend read CeraMag theme’s documentation. You can find almost everything about how to use the theme in the documentation.

And if you are new to WordPress, we also recommend read some articles about basic knowledge of WordPress, it’s a powerful system with a lot of features, knowing some basics about it will help you to manage your site easily. Here is a link to WordPress official site: https://codex.wordpress.org/

Hope this can help. Thanks!

Thank you very much for solving this problem.

No worries. :)

Hi! How to hide post category and post excerpt in Homepage post slider?

How to hide all post meta (beside category, title and excerpt) in home post page, category post page and Author page?

“how to add a share button” below posts in the homepage classic (or standard) layout?

Hi,

Please note: options to hide and show post meta are new features we added since version 1.1.6. Please make sure CeraMag theme on your site has been updated to the latest version. And please see below:

1. Hide post category and post excerpt in Homepage post slider:

On your site dashboard, please go to “Appearance” > “Customize” to open the WordPress Customizer, then go to “Home Page” > “Top Slider”, make sure your top slider is enabled, then find “Post Meta” options, there you can choose to hide category and excerpt. Please see this screenshot: http://www.loftocean.com/ceramag/wp-content/uploads/sites/6/2017/10/ceramag-homepage-slider-post-meta.jpg

2. Hide post meta in home post page:

In your WordPress Customizer, please go to “Home Page” > “Latest Posts”. You can find “Post Meta” options at the end of the sub section, there you can choose which post meta to show or hide.

3. Hide post meta for Category Archive Page:

In your WordPress Customizer, please go to “Archive Pages” > “Category”. You can find “Post Meta” options at the end of the sub section, there you can choose which post meta to show or hide.

4. Hide post meta for Author Archive Page:

In your WordPress Customizer, please go to “Archive Pages” > “Author”. You can find “Post Meta” options at the end of the sub section, there you can choose which post meta to show or hide.

And we have included these information in our documentation, you may like to check the documentation for more details about CeraMag theme:

Customize the homepage: http://www.loftocean.com/ceramag-doc/documentation.html#blog

Customize category/author/tag/search/date based archive pages: http://www.loftocean.com/ceramag-doc/documentation.html#archive-pages

Add a share button below posts in the homepage classic (or standard) layout:

Sorry but CeraMag theme doesn’t have the feature. We will consider adding it in a future update. For now we suggest using a third party plugin to add share buttons on the homepage. You can search on wordpress.org for a suitable plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/search/share+buttons/

Hope this can help. Thank you very much. Have a nice weekend!

How to hide “post date” meta in mega menu and show “post category” meta

Do you guys have a support page?

Hi,

We will add the feature to control post meta in mega menu in the next update as well.

And we support our users via ThemeForest item comment page (here) and (or) email ( general@loftocean.com ). Because we are in different time zones so sometimes we will not be able to reply to our users very quickly. Thanks very much for your understanding.

How can I display display posts from a specific category in the sidebar?

Hi,

Thanks for purchasing and contacting.

Sorry but currently CeraMag theme doesn’t have this feature. For now you can display the following types of posts in the sidebar:

  • Latest Posts
  • Featured Posts
  • Most Viewed Posts
  • Most Liked Posts

We will add this feature in the next update. Thank you very much for bringing this up!

Best regards,

hi

Does your theme come prebuild?

Hi,

Do you mean prebuild dummy content so you can import one? CeraMag theme contains 12 pre-made demos, you can import any one of them by one click.

You might like to check all demos: http://www.loftocean.com/ceramag/

Or read our documentation to know more details about demo importing: http://www.loftocean.com/ceramag-doc/documentation.html#demo-import

Thanks.

Hi guys thank you for replying to my questions! Is it possible to have at least one additional sidebar?

Hi,

We want to confirm your question, please see below:

1. Do you mean: Add another sidebar on a page, so there are 2 sidebars on one page?

If yes, sorry but CeraMag theme doesn’t have this feature. We want to keep CeraMag as a simple and clean theme, 2 sidebars on one page would be too complex for the ideal layout.

2. Or you mean add another sidebar in the dashboard > “Appearance” > “Widgets”, and can customize widgets specifically for individual posts/pages? For example, create a new sidebar and name it “Sidebar for contact page”, then add specific widgets into this sidebar, and choose to show the sidebar only on “Contact” page.

If yes, you may use this plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/custom-sidebars/

It will allow you to create custom widget areas and then you will be able to choose what widgets display on each page or post of your site.

Hope this can help. Thanks!

Cheers,

Yes, we visited your site ( www.gezgintripod.com ), checked your site code this morning, and checked your site again just now. You are doing it wrong. The custom CSS code you have added now is only an example showing in the documentation.

You have added some custom CSS code successfully to your site. You just haven’t added the correct CSS code.

As we said, please just copy and paste this custom CSS code:

.site-footer .footer-subscribe .widget.widget_mc4wp_form_widget input[type="email"] {
    text-transform: none;
}

Like showing in this screenshot: http://www.loftocean.com/ceramag/wp-content/uploads/sites/6/2017/11/custom-css-footer-form.jpg

By the way, if you have any other questions, could you please write in English, and also show us some screenshots? It will help us to understand your questions clearly. Thanks a lot!

Normal post title character’s size are smaller in the post detail page than they in the homepage. How can I use a same size for both?

Hi,

The post title font size for single post (normal header style) is 24px, which is the default font size for most post titles defined in the theme. If the posts on your homepage is in “Classic” layout, then the post title font size is 30px, which is a little larger than the default post title font size. You will need to write some custom CSS code to tweak the font size.

And it’s related to “Item Customization”, and due to Envato Support Policy, it’s not included in the item support, please check Envato Support Policy ( https://themeforest.net/page/item_support_policy#whats-not-included-item-support ) for more details.

If you are not familiar with code and need help with item customization, we recommend hire a developer to do the customization work for you. And you can check Envato Studio – there are many developers providing theme customization service. You can search with keywords “Theme Customization” to find the suitable developers for your project.

Thank you for your understanding. And if you have any questions/problems while using the theme, please always feel free to let us know. Thanks very much.

This a bummer! In most themes this simple change can be made in Typography

How can I reduce the size of pictures in the “Featured Section” to 300×300?

Hi,

Sorry but the picture/post size in the “Featured Section” can’t be changed by theme customization options. You will need to write some custom CSS code to tweak the picture/post size.

Still, it’s related to “Item Customization”. Please check our answer to your previous question as reference.

Thank you very much for your understanding.

I am sorry the more I try to customize This theme the more I realize how rigid it is. There are not enough customization options

On latest post section. I want to use the “1st Classic + Grid 3 Cols” but the image is same size as the other poster and centered. Is there a different size to the image?

Hi Brian,

When choose “1st Classic + Grid 3 Cols” it should look like what shown on this page (when the page has no sidebar).

Please follow these steps to try fixing the issue:

1. Please read “Image Size” in the documentation. Make sure the width of the image is at least 1600 pixels when you upload a featured image for a post.

2. You may need to use this plugin to regenerate the thumbnails for your image attachments.

3. Make sure your site is running the latest version of WordPress. And please also update to the latest versions of your theme and plugins.

4. Disable any other plugins and then check if it fix the issue.

5. Try to clear your site and browser cache and check again.

If you still cannot fix the problem, please send the following information to us via email to general@loftocean.com :

  1. Your site URL.
  2. please create a temporary admin account for us, and let us log into your site and look into this issue.

Thanks.

Hello, I’d like to change the space between heading text and content text. Can you add this option to the Typography menu?

Hi,

Thanks for contacting.

Could you please tell us more details about this request? Because there are different types of heading text, like Page Title, Post Title, Headings in content area (H1 to H6 in a post/page content), Post Title in a widget, and etc.

Please send the following information via email to general@loftocean.com :

1. Do you mean the space below a page title on a single page?

2. Or do you mean the space below a post title on a single post?

3. Or do you mean the spacing between H1 to H6 headings and content text in a page/post content?

4. Or do you mean the spacing between the post title and post excerpt in the posts list (on homepage or a category archive page)?

5. Could you please also send us the URL of a page on your site and let us know exactly which types of heading text you mean?

6. And if we can have some screenshots that’d be very helpful.

Thank you very much.
