Missing style sheet error when installing the theme

A common issue that can occur with users new to installing WordPress themes is a "Broken theme and/or stylesheets missing” error message being displayed when trying to upload or activate the theme. This error message does not mean that the theme you have purchased is broken, it simply means it has been uploaded incorrectly. Luckily, there is a very easy fix.

How to set up the latest version of Twitter’s Feed widget?

Twitter has changed their API. Now, in order to get access to the tweets you have to register your website as an application. To do that follow this steps:

1º Login at https://dev.twitter.com/apps

2º Press the “Create a new application” button

3º Fill the form with your application details (Name, Description and Website)

4º Press the “Create your Twitter application” button

5º On the new page, press the “Create my access token” button.

Now you should have the 4 identifiers you need to being able to request tweets from Twitter:

- Consumer Key
- Consumer Secret
- Access Token
- Access Token Secret

How do I update the theme?

To update the Theme, login to ThemeForest, head over to your downloads section and re-download the theme like you did when you bought it.

Before doing the update I recommend you to backup your current theme folder, just for the case something goes wrong.

Extract the zip’s contents, look for the extracted theme folder and under /wordpress sub-folder you will see the theme folder: chapter_one

Then upload that folder, using FTP, to the /wp-content/themes/ folder in your server, overwriting the old one.

If you’ve changed some core files, you should reproduce the same changes in the new updated files.
