Hi I have a dysfunction in the grid gallery. -I create a gallery and everything works fine - I edit the gallery like changing image order eveything is fine. - I edit the fallery, ie : add an image and things turn wrong with random bugs like. Image not displayed in the front end gallery (but visible in the backoffice) Browser tested with safari and chrome. Serious issue. Do you have any idea on whats happening? I went to the site and unable to create an account. After typing in a username and password it loads then clears out. I tried to sign in with what I created and it said there was no account. On the edit page, below the blocks, where it reads “options”...it’s located on the right side of the page and there is nothing there but a green box. In the Clayton Options, under it’s settings, there are only two green/grey buttons and everything else is white. I’m using the latest wordpress version with PHP 8.1

I found the problem! It was my hosting providers plugin that syncs to their website. For some reason their plugin breaks themes. Thanks for the help! I can build my site now!

I’ve found a strange behaviour, if I display a page normally, the title is framed with an H1 tag but if I put this same page as the home page of the site in the settings, it then gets an h2 tag, so for the demo, if we remove the title header we have neither H1 nor h2,
Would there be an overload function to define that a page on the home page receives a title in H1 with header decoration and not H2?

a few weeks ago I noticed a problem with Clayton and page speed insight. At first I thought the problem was with my plugin but I did a test with the demo wedding

Would it be possible to have an option to disable it?

WELL I PURCHASED. WENT TO REGISTER THE THEME… IT IS LISTED AS “ORABEL” AND IT STATES THE PURCHASE CODE IS INCORRECT. ALL IS ENTERED IN CORRECTLY. ALL IS PROPER. WON’T REGISTER. CAN’T DO ANYTHING WITH THE THEME. CAN’T INSTALL DEMO CONTENT. AT A COMPLETE STANDSTILL. PLEASE HELP FIX THIS ISSUE.
Theme sells as “CLAYTON” but the theme provided at download is named “ORABEL”. License is to Clayton not Orabel so not sure why the themes are different, but this is what is provided when downloading.

Orabel seems to be another theme, also a photography theme, by bslthemes.

Ok, I now have the proper files. I have installed the theme. I have loaded the dark theme demo and the content is not the same, especially on the gallery. I know that most of the photos are prob under copywriter, but the gallery isn’t laying out the way it shows on your demo. It lays out differently.
When I go to “Shots from above” page and other gallery pages, they are all just blog layout.
Hi there, glad you solved with the zip file. The theme choice is intended only to setup and configure colors/fonts and give an idea of the page structure. Images and galleries must be removed and created with your images, since the ones used in the demo cannot be included in the package. hello, I had some problems with page in ‘collection’ mode.
No options were displayed in wordpress editor when page was in collection. No options, no layout, no header options.
So I tried to update clayton, and now it seems my theme is broken? Each time I try to switch to clayton theme or clayton child, I have the message ‘Installing the required plugins’ and nothing happens but a green circle turning around.
If I try to navigate on my website, I have a message regarding parse error in line 50 in evolve-framework/classes/core/libs/ev_list.php

Could you please update the version number properly ? The actual is updated but the way you did it, let the envato plugin show there is another version but not update it since it’s not written in the files /style.css:7 and /languages/clayton.pot:5. Anyway, the envato plugin can’t actually install the update the way you did it.
For everybody you can update the plugin manualy by downloading it from envato interface and replacing in the theme section of wordpress by uploading and clicking replace on the conflict.

Hello. I’ve tried to use the popular WP plugin “Image Hotspot by DevVN” for implementing images with tool tips. Sadly the plugin does not work together with the Clayton template so far – the tool tips simply won’t show on hover. When using the plugin on other WP installations with other template or changing the design from Clayton to another one, suddenly everything works. Can you provide any explanation why the plugin doesn’t work with Clayton or any workaraound?

Hello there, we have tested the plugin and it seems to work with our theme on frontend. We only experience a Javascript error during the pin placement on backend but after saving the hotspot shortcode and reload the page everything seems to be working properly. The error by the way is not triggered by the theme but from this plugin. Let me know if you have any other question. Best, Simone
That sounds generally great, but is in complete contrast to what I’m experiencing. While in my case there is no problem with the backend, the tooltips are not showing in the front end pages. Right after I change the design to e.g. the Twenty-Twenty template, everything works as it should. If you don’t mind I’d like to send you a screencast showing the situation probably better than I can explain it here. I would use the contact form from the evolve website for doing so.

when configuring a carousel from a gallery on a page, I have all my photos selected on the wordpress editor (10 photos) but on the front the carousel displays only the photos without “-scaled.jpg” (7 photos only) I use the LiteSpeed Cache and Regenerate Thumbnails extensions

the theme currently doesn’t support this filter since there is an option to choose which image size should be used in each specific album or collection and there is also a lazy loading functionality.

Hi I would like to report a problem with the articles on your topic. If I activate the lightbox and the photos in the gallery are enlarged, the image opens twice, one with a transparent black outline and one underneath with a white background.

sorry for the late reply. Concerning your first question, yes the images are intended to be full size. There’s no related functionality but you can use any external plugin to generate that. Concerning your last question, this is an issue related to the plugin used in the demo for Instagram, some API changes break the functionality, this is not part of the theme itself, is an external plugin, can be changed easily.

sadly the Item Support is not working, therefore I’m writing to you here.
Some days ago, I bought the theme and have one question: Because I prefer the darker version of the theme for the homepage, but the lighter one for pretty much everything else, I installed two additional plugins – one for duplicating the child theme and another one for the use of multiple themes, so that I can select the second (dark) theme for the homepage.
And indeed this works pretty well, with one exception: of course the darker version of the website would require a lighter version of the logo on top, while the lighter should get the deeper one. But in contrast to the colors unfortunately I’m not able to use different logos in the costumizer (the one I select always gets displayed in both child themes).
I already did some research on the web, but apart from a not functioning extension for the functions.php I’ve found nothing so far to get two seperate logos. Do you have any ideas that could help my in this regard?

this is something not usual and you found an interesting solution. Concerning the logo issue you can alternatively change it with CSS, for example, you can target the home page .custom-link-logo class, create a pseudo element and apply a background image, something like:.home .custom-logo-link::before {

Thank you very much! But unfortunately, I’m not that deep into CSS programming. So if you don’t mind my further question would be: Is the replacement of the logo already done by just copying the code segment you’ve provided (with entered url of the white logo) into the style.css of the Theme Editor? This is what I’ve tried and it didn’t work out so far 
So I suppose there are additional steps to undertake. Am I right? Or what else could have gone wrong? Thanks in advance.
