I was looking for the right theme to display my images and think I found that in this one. Initially there were issues due to plugin compatibilities, but I was able to resolve that. The theme has a bit of a learning curve, but once you figure it out, it's easy to setup. I like the no right click, no downloads and lightbox options. This is working fine on the latest WordPress with PHP 8.1.

Theme is easy to work with, has a good design and an intuitive way of editing pages.
Hoever, there are to few Updates. Current versions of WordPress are not officially supported.

Hi there, thanks for your feedback, as stated in the item description the theme doesn't officially support the new 6.0, but is working fine on the 5.9.3.

When I bought a different Theme a year ago, I got it all. High-quality product with excellent instructions on how to add pictures, create galleries, add YouTube videos, create and edit menus and even how to change and choose the overall layout of the website. In the case of this theme everything is missing there is no information in the technical documentation making this product useless for the client.
The import contemt option does not work, as a result the page remains blank and the configuration cannot be completed. Contact with the author is not possible. The author does not reply to messages.The developer's website does not have information on how to configure the Theme and it throws a 404 error in many places. Wasted money that I will try to get back. Don't buy.

This is literally the WORST WP theme and builder I have ever used. I'm crying I am so mad. I will request a refund. Who knows.

No gallery script included. each gallery has to be own page as it seems. barley usable. wouldn't recommend. Also documentation side leads to 404 not found page.

what do you mean with "gallery script"?
The theme has been designed to work with pages (template album) or posts (post type gallery) for the gallery functionality.

There are very few options for customization and many things simply don't work as they should. The demo content is missing plugins, when I install the plugins they don't work the same as the demo.

The theme has many options to customize almost every font, color and layout configuration, have you a specific need? which part of the theme you weren't able to customize?
By the way, the only two plugins required for the theme are our options framework plugin and the theme companion, installed automatically in the wizard setup procedure.

I rarely leave reviews, but I just had to for this theme. I love it! It is clean and elegant and the customer support is also amazing. The Evolve team keeps updating it regularly based on ideas and recommendations from their clients. Thank you for all of your work! I chose "customer support" above for the main reason for my rating, but it is also for design quality, etc. It is an all around excellent theme.
I can only rate for one main reason, but to be honest, EvolveThemes deserve 5* for most of the elements of their Clayton Theme.
1) They have outstanding Service, support, team answering comments is always welcoming questions, I feel really at home opening a comment line
2) Updates : They listen to every single proposal from comments, see if it's interesting for them, they have an idea in mind, but really consider everything as a whole. Updates come at an incredible speed, timely, streamlined, no bugs. They are efficient, focused, business & client driven, not seen that with any of the themes I had purchased prior to Evolve
3) Website : Templates from the theme are easy to implement, no fuss, no pageBuilder. Using Wordpress Features, we know what we do is not lost, it's just showcased in a fantastic way.
4) Walls, albums, collections : What a brilliant idea ! simple to put in place, looks great, draws the eye.
5) Documentation is simple, easy to follow, and i'm only talking about the written one, I have not needed any of the Youtube channel to figure it out... Easy, simple, no wasted time !
Well, basically you get it... the theme is within the average price, and if you're questioning it, remember every minute spent on your website figuring things out, is money you're not earning with your business. Evolve has understood that, and allows us to get our business done, without fussing with pain in the butt coding (and i'm a former web developer).
