I have a problem with the edit or make post page with Cookingpress installed. It is so slow that it makes it impossible to make any new posts. How can this be?
please open a private ticket on my support forum http://purethemes.ticksy.com/ with login details to your wp-admin, I’ll check what’s wrong.
I love the theme. One problem: the tooltips do not seem to work. Any suggestions? All data (description picture, etc.) is present.
Hi, tooltips currently work only on hRecipe format, if you use schema.org it’s not possible as they will not validate correctly
I am have an issue with getting the Recipe Facts (Nutritionals) to show correctly. If you leave all three of the Cooking Information Fields blank (Cooking Time – Prep Time, Yield), then add Recipe Facts (Calories) the display of the post breaks. All the Ingredients and Instructions get displayed on the post-it note versus in the body of the post. Do you have fix for this other than entering data in one of the Cooking Information.

My website is long to load. I don’t have lot of plugins, my host is OVH, I tried to use wp cache and w3 total cache. But my website is still long to load.
You don’t have any tips to give me in order to increase loading speed ?
Thanks a lot.
There’s a lot of images so it won’t be fast, however I’ve just opened it and it wasn’t slow, it was normal speed. I don’t have any tips for you unfortunately except using the cache plugins
I am using the Coda slider and your latest version of the theme. On an iPad, the slider seems not to work properly (in landscape): it shows a scroll bar on the right side and when the photo’s start scrolling, they get ‘out of sync’: only the first photo is displayed properly in the slider; the rest is shifted to the right. In portrait, the title (and the link) is also not showing, making it impossible to click a recipe. Any suggestions to this issue?
Hi, Are the images in your slider the same size?
Yes. Have a look at www.toplevelcooking.com
The live demo has the same issue, as has glutenfreibacken.com (one of your recommended sites) and others in this list
Could you please give me a status update regarding this issue?
I’ve been looking around on the homepages which have your theme installed. I see a couple of translation errors. Example: http://www.glutenfreibacken.com/apfel-zimt-plunder-franzbroetchen/ if you scroll all the wau down, it says: 2 responses to ?? I should’ve translated into German.
A couple of pages back at this comment section themeforest, there’s a polish guy who have seen the exact same thing.
Is it just something that they’re doing wrong or are there a problem with the translation files?
Hi, the problems are with translation files, you can find that string “responses” in comments.php, but we’re currently refactoring the code, so hopefully we will soon release bug-free version. Thanks!
Yeah, nice. I’m making a website for a friend who bought this theme. He was beginning to be rather irritated because most of the translation wasn’t there. I’ve used the last 10 days to make the translation right.
Making the textdomain all purepress and adding _e() over the words which wasn’t translated. Now I’m finally finished with it all. The reason I’m doing this is because of the nice features of this theme and I really wanted the site to sparkle and not letting some English words ruin the experience.
I must say that this theme tend to surprise me again and again and I like to be surprised. Good work and when you’re done with the refactoring I know my friend will be glad
Heck I might buy it myself
I installed it on my local machine. I tested by filling out the form on the front end and found out that some of the fields are not saved to the database. Some fields are as follows—
For other fields, I can see the data to be populated in the edit form but I dont see “Time needed” value selected and calories/fat fields show blank. Please fix this and send me the correct files ASAP! How do I add Food Allergens section to the font end form (registered form)?
Hi. if i buy this theme, will you give me the demo db ?
Hi, I can give you xml with sample data https://dl.dropbox.com/u/354598/cookingpress.wordpress.2012-04-13.xml
Who knows the bug why I can´t upload any pictures in a recipe via my mobile?
Hello, I have one question to start with you. Does this theme fully supports Arabic language,RTL?
Hi, yes, most of things work, the only problem might be with Slider on the front page.
Sorry, I must repeat my question
1. In the Polish language version – Recipe configuratoin -> Choose font for Recipe? Satisfy – no Polish fonts. Only Atomic CS loock good in my Firefox.
2. Word “In” in slidebar on Homepage is not translate. I see for instance “In Ciasta i desery”. How remove or change it?
3. How in Wordpress 3.5 should add photos?
In Polish – Mistrzu jest jakas mozliwosc skontakowania sie z Toba w tej sprawie w ojczystym jezyku?
In the form of revenue, the button to insert media is incompatible with IE9 and Firefox browsers. Appears only in the Chrome browser. How to solve this?
I used cooking press theme and my homepage url is http://dollscooks.cafe24.com
Logo image is looking good at web page.
but it is bad at mobile page.
Used Logo image file : PNG
wordpress ver : 3.5.1
plz help me asap. thanks!
Hi, I’m not sure what do you mean by it’s bad at mobile. Could you describe your issue?
I am using Facebook AWD for comments. When I choose option to replace wordpress comments, the facebook comments go all the way to the left. When the facebook comments are set to display before wordpress comments (instead of replace) they are in the right place.
How do I get the comments to move to the right (to the correct spot) when I choose to replace the standard wordpress comments?
Thanks in advance.
Hi I have a little problem, I cannot get the slider to work, and my grid does not have space between the columns
Hello, I have the intention to buy this theme for my site but first I need some information. The site I plan to use these theme for is supposed to be multilinguage. Is your theme compatible for a multilanguage blog? If not, what would you advise me to do in order to get this theme working for a multilanguage blog. Thanks a lot.
Seems like this guy went on vacation.
Anyone know how to change category label from saying “IN” to something else?
The CookingPress just hit 1000 sales mark. I want to thank everybody who bought it for this! You’re great. I know recently my support for this theme wasn’t the best, but I’m now refactoring code for CookingPress and soon release updated version, hopefully free of all bugs that you have to struggle now. Thank you for the patience!
but I have 2 concerns. The first one, if I’m logged on with my admin account the comments to articles below the article refers to another article, not the article itself. If I read the blog as a reader no issue, the comments are displayed ok.
Second issue with Firefox, the grid is not regular while with Opera for instance the display is correct.
