Hi, We have purchased a theme and later we have installed the theme on our site. As soon as we activate the theme it gives us 503 service unavailable. It sometimes gives memory error and we would like to know the memory, php version and php modules and server requirements for the theme to run properly. Is there any way we can check server compatibility before activating the theme.

Please make sure to update the Craft Beer plugin and Bold builder plugin as well once you update the theme.

There is a critical error on my site (https://stacyb9.sg-host.com/) and it only goes away when I disable the Craft Beer theme. All plugins are up to date. My host (SiteGround) is saying it’s the theme. There is no update available for the theme. Really need some help please! Thanks!

Where are the settings for the front splash 21+ page ? I cannot find them under any of the WP settings in the backend.
Never mind, it’s the page called “Overlay”.
Adding the logo under WP general settings isn’t working either. I’ve tried jpg, png and have set the height in pixels under “header and footer” with no luck

Here is how the Setting generally work
The settings in the Appearance > Customize panel are global, meaning that they influence every page on the site by default. On the other hand, you have an option to override these settings on a per page basis. If you take a look at the bottom of the page edit form, you will notice the Override Global Setting part in Settings Section – here you can override global settings for every page.
You probably have a logo related override (and some other overrides) set on the home page and it caused the problem. Try removing logo related overrides on pages with issues.

Where is the demo content file? They are usually in the main folder and it’s no where to be found.

You might want to check the folders and files again. After unzipped, there is a craft beer child.zip file, a craft beer.zip file and a Documentation folder. None which contain the demo file for import.
If I use the file within the craft beer folder/demo_data, then import maindemo.Wordpress.2021-04-07.xml file, everything fails to import
Why wouldn’t you just put the demo file within the document folder like norml developers instead of buried inside the theme folder?

The best option is to take a look at the server php error log – it should give you a clear indication of what is the cause of a probable fatal error during the demo import.

The form on our demo is not functional because we have made it that way (due to the spamming reasons).
If you have the issue with the form on your site – please review the form’s settings.
As the primary thing you need to check the From and Reply to fields in the Email settings of the respective Contact Form 7 post. They need to be in line with the anti spam rules of your provider (belonging to the same domain as your site etc…).

Hello, I am having an issue with trying to find the main menu breakpoint settings. On a small screen I am having some of the menu items fall off before changing over to the smaller screen hamburger menu. Please let me know where this can be edited. Thank you!

The easiest way to control the main menu breakpoint is using JavaScript.
You can add the following to the Appearance > Customize > General Settings > custom JS

});
It will do the trick – adjust the desired screen width accordingly.

On the theme installation guide is written “WooCommerce is recommended plugin. We suggest you install it prior to demo import if you intend to use it on your site. If you don’t need WooCommerce on your site, it is not necessary to install this plugin.”
So I installed it before I ran the import. After the import I got the WooCommerce pages doubled – shop and shop-2, checkout and checkout-2, cart and cart-2 etc … Because of this I cannot access the main woocommerce admin page – *.com/wp-admin/admin.php?page=wc-admin – it returns empty white page
How can I avoid this issue with doubled pages?

Here is a follow up question/issue. Since I import the demo (with no errors) the styles of the header/menu of the shop page are broken. I exchange few messages with your support team (ticket #3109074) but unfortunately the issue still exist – the styles are still broken, the header/menu of the shop page still looks broken and very different than your demo. After taking a look at the developers console, we have noticed that there are three subscribers to the quantity field change event, and these are:
1. WooCommerce members only plugin
2. Easy Login WooCommerce plugin
3. WooCommerce Subscriptions gifting plugin
The theme itself does not implement any JavaScript listener for this specific field.
Without any knowledge about internal workings of the plugin you are using, if the fields should appear once you increase the number of people (quantity field) there should be an event listener implemented.
There are no JavaScript exceptions once you change the quantity, so our hands are pretty much tied at this moment.
You can try switching off other WooCommerce plugins involved and check if they are the ones causing conflict.
If not, we need some additional information from the plugin authors what conflict are they referring to, since without any knowledge about the implementation of the said plugin, we can not pinpoint the issue.
Also, please note that your support period has expired and that it would be nice to extend it if we make any progress on the issue after receiving additional info from plugin authors.

I’ve sent them the question. Thanks for your help so far
(Yith) have done some tests, and indeed for some unknown reason, the problem comes from the Craft Beer plugin. The problem persists as it seems to be dequeuing the js from our plugin.
(script-tickets-frontend.min.js)
I’ve tried re-gluing them but to no avail. And it is the only way this happens, that is, by activating that plugin. Then I’ve disabled it again and everything works fine (you may need to clear the cache using ALT + F5 the first time, so you can see the changes).
I have also tried changing the theme to Twenty Twenty One and the exact same thing happens.

Please try editing framework.php in the framework_bt_plugin folder of craft beer plugin and try removing the line 557
add_action( 'wp_enqueue_scripts', 'boldthemes_remove_woo_scripts', 100 );
And check if the issue persists.

Yes – we are using the Yith plug-in for ticket sales. On the ticket page, there are fields to complete for each ticket holder – so if one ticket purchased, one set of details. If the quantity is changed, there should be more fields for each additional ticket. There is a conflict with the Craft Beer plug-in that is preventing the additional fields to appear.
