Hi Tatiana, thank you for creating such a beautiful theme. I has been a little more challenging to work with it, but I am getting it slowly. I have switched some of the images and colors, but I can not figure out how the “start” button on the homepage works. It hasn’t worked, even before I made changes. The other question I have is, how large does the background picture on the static home page need to be. Looking forward to hearing from you.
Hello, thank you!
1) Where do you mean “does not work”–on my demo or on your site? If on your site, return to original markup of my files.
2) Best size is 2560px wide to cover 27” screens. However, even after optimizing background might be pretty heavy.
I always use 1920px wide sacrificing some quality if a website is viewed on full 27” screen (though I have no statistics whether owners of 27” screens use it in full–me myself shrink the browser window to 1920px on my 2560px iMac resolution), so it is up to you but try to find optimal size: not losing quality while making file not too heavy. Thank you again and good luck!
Oh, I also can’t find how to replace the ribbons. I found them in the image folder as png’s, but I don’t know how to replace yours with mine.
<img src="<?php print IMAGES; ?>/images/ribboncat.png" alt="" />
Hello again, thank you for the help on picture size.
I did what you said and uploaded the original css style sheet. The start button is not working on it. I can just scroll down the page, sliding does not work.
Automatic scroll is a script, not css. If you did not remove ascensor.js and plugins.js it will work like on my demo. Thanks!
I want the intro page like your theme dome,
how can I create intro for my website using your theme ?
Hello, thank you! Open “Help” PDF in “main-files” folder and follow instructions. You will get same look as my demo.
Hi, I have purchased your crafty hands theme and am about to launch.
I am able to change the currecny from USD to GBP in the
single- the_shop.php file and it works well.
However, could you let me know how to change from $ to £ in the item listing please?
Many thanks – Ady
<h2 class="price"><span>$</span><?php echo get_post_meta($post->ID, '_ts_pp_itemprice', true); ?></h2>
Simply replace manually symbol of $ to symbol of pound.
In fact I am going to make a big update to this theme ( a lot of improvements are planned), wait for notification from Envato. Thank you!
perfect! thank you
Thanks a lot!
Hi! I love the look of your theme can you please tell me if it is compatible with membermouse as a membership plugin and also compatible with learndash?
Hello, thank you for your interest!
Unfortunately, I have no idea what are membermouse and learndash.
How do I add the child’s theme, I don’t see the zip file included in the download?
“Thank you! “main-files” folder.
I have installed the template and kinda understand its layout and where to go for content. One thing that’s not working for me is, creating a simple thing like “about us” page, it will just show blank, I have create cache, done everything, not working. http://www.cakeprof.com/about-us/ . Also another question, I have installed woo cormmerce, how can I make it to be compatible, right now it seems broken, check my shop page, how its displaying. Thank you
1. This is default page: http://demo.virtuti.info/demonstrations/vt10/?page_id=58 on my demo based on default template.
This is “about” page based on same default page template: http://demo.virtuti.info/demonstrations/vt10/?page_id=150
What do you mean “blank”–no header, no footer, no sharing buttons etc or no content on main box and sidebar?
2. woo-commerce requires extra effort. To enable woo-commerce shop you need to create additional pages for shop page (archive-product.php) and single shop item page (single-product.php) + naturally, heavy (very heavy) styling is required.
I provided you with the link to see exactly what I am talking about. http://www.cakeprof.com/about-us/
sorry, its offline, do you another means, of contacting you so i can give you access to my account and have a look at what I am talking about
The woo-commerce point, doesnt woo commerce come with these pages already?
I looked into the link. It shows “coming soon”. Yes, you may give me username and password and I can look in.
Not exactly. Actually, you may select any page template but the result will be sad. Here is example (here is chosen a default page template in twenty fourteen theme): http://demo.virtuti.info/demonstrations/vttester2/sample-page/
Sent message with logins.
1) Ok, now it is fine.
Here is testing page: http://www.cakeprof.com/tester/
You may, of course, delete it and create actual pages. And I put some widgets onto sidebar to test what is going on, remove them and replace with ones you prefer.
2) In fact the theme requires an update because it was written pretty long time ago. I am going to make major updates for newer WP versions. You may experience some problems with widgets before the update. Actually the problem with your site (with my theme to be precise) is that this theme at the moment is good for 3.9 / 4.0 WP versions (see compatibility versions list in description) which I fixed but of course, an update is required and will come soon.
Thank you! Tanya
Unfortunately I have to buy another theme as this theme does not support woocommerce. So check first before you make a purchase. I wish I could have gotten a refund. Sad face!!
Hello, if the theme included styled woo-commerce plugin (or any other of free 46,292 plugins available in WP repository) it would be written in description.
However, if you noticed, it is clearly stated that one of 46,292 – bbpress– is included:).
As for the refund, I do not believe Envato will return you money because theme comes as described. You may see refund terms in Envato marketplace: https://help.market.envato.com/hc/en-us/articles/202821460-Can-I-Get-A-Refund-
Read description before you buy, it will cause joyful face:)
Hi, I am so happy you have updated this theme to be responsive. I had found this theme to be a perfect fit for me, but didn’t buy because it wasn’t responsive. I’ve looked at dozens of other themes and came back to look at yours again to find that you had updated it, so thank you!! I’m installing now, but i getting an ‘invalid url’ message for the ‘Widget Colourful Circles’ can you help?
Hello, thank you very much!
Yes, you are absolutely right, occasionally I made a mistake in plugin name what caused that problem. In the next update I’ll fix my misspelling but if you do not want to wait, do next thing:
Go to Dashboard-Appearance-Editor and find tgm.php file (sixth from the top in the list of available files on the right side. Click it, it opens in Tiny. Find line #21 and delete a word “plugin”. What you see is:
'source' => get_template_directory() . '/plugins/widget-ccircle-plugin.zip', // The plugin source
what should be is:
'source' => get_template_directory() . '/plugins/widget-ccircle.zip', // The plugin source
Update file and click again “begin installing plugins” in white notification. Install it, now it is ok.
Or you can use default WP uploader: plugins-add new-choose file.
that looks like it worked, thanks!
You are welcome!
Hello, I’m back with more questions:
1. i want to link to my instagram account using the social widget link. Where do I save the PNG file icon that I created so that it shows up like the other pre-loaded icons?
2. i don’t want to use the landing page with the “start” button- how do I disable this page so that the site opens directly to the home page?
1) images->social and don’t forget to upload png to your server via FTP
if the included set of icons does not suit you, you amy replace it with your own set at all.
2) Home page consists of two parts: intro + actually home page. You will need to delete part of code from page-home.php. Hope you know to read/write/understand php/html, if not you will need to ask/hire somebody to delete a part of theme file.
thank you. i have two more questions, this time regarding the class page. when I am editing details for a class, after I press “update” i get this long string of error messages:

I then back up to the previous page, but if I try to make any other edits, i am unable to update, as this button becomes disabled and the little progress wheel just spins and never changes back. The information i enter still appears in the “preview changes”, but i am unable to edit without the update button getting stuck.
The other issue I have is date formatting. I have set my preferred date format in the settings tab, but the date fields still require me to use the default?
1) I did not understand about which class you are asking. Anyway, please note: you are free to modify html/php/css/js as you wish but all questions regarding issues/problems/errors AFTER modification are not included into theme support according author’s agreement with Envato.
<?php the_time(get_option('date_format')); ?>
the error code appears whenever i try to enter a new “course” (not class, my mistake). I haven’t made any modifications to the code- this is generated any time i add a new course or edit an existing one. is there any way i can give you temp access to my page so you can go in and take a look?
Yes, sure, no problem. Password and username. And to precise: you wish to add new post (course) under CPT “Courses” clicking “add new”, correct?
can i have your email to send you a login for my account?
the problem is with adding new or editing an existing course. when i fill in all the fields I’m using, and press “update”, the next page to display is the long string of error messages i posted in the above message. i have click “back” on my browser to go back to the course editing page, but then the “update” button is disabled and has a little spinning progress wheel next to it. The odd thing is that the updates do show up on my website, despite the error message. The work-around I’ve been using is to go back to the courses page and then click back into the individual course I was editing. Its a few extra steps that make editing very cumbersome. I just want to know if I’m doing something to cause the error, or if its something with the theme that needs to be updated. Thank you so much for your prompt replies, its really appreciated.
I shall check, definitely. My email: firstname.lastname@example.org
hi, just set up a user/editor account for you on wordpress. there should be an email from them with all the login info. Thanks!
Hello, have you had a chance to look into the issues we discussed above?
Hello, I did it yet two months ago. I sent you email on 11/17/16
I never received an email and I’m still having the same issue. Can you look into this please? Thank you
What is this email? email@example.com
I got your letter from this very email and clicked “reply”.
I believe that is the email that your temp user account credentials were mailed from. I had emailed you at firstname.lastname@example.org with my question on Jan 2 from my email@example.com email. Sorry for the confusion.
good day to you, wonderful theme, we’re assisting someone in the installation of your theme, we have it installed, now we’re getting the following error when we save a page (either in the courses and the shop:
Warning: Missing argument 2 for wp_kses(), called in /home/teltel123/public_html/webeblingin.com/wp-content/plugins/cpt-courses-plugin/cpt-courses.php on line 188 and defined in /home/teltel123/public_html/webeblingin.com/wp-includes/kses.php on line 526
and though the page says it exist, when you clisk on “more details” it says “page not found”
hello virtuti, “thewritetype” above is commenting for me, can you please help?
Hello, thank you! Should not be cause my demi is set to debug mode and I have no such warning. However, I need to check. Please supply me with access to you WP (password, username; privately to my email firstname.lastname@example.org) As for «page not found» usually it resolves in simple way: go to Settings -> Permalinks and click «save». Refresh the page.
thanks virtuti, permalinks fixed it
please check your email
Nothing in my mailbox. Resend again, please? email@example.com
Ah, I see, that was my bad, I mistyped one letter in my email, sorry!
