Hi, I’m looking to use this theme on an existing website with 5300 recipes as WordPress posts. Do you use a custom post type for recipes, and if so, will I be able to convert my existing content for use with this theme?
Hi, the included recipe plugin uses a custom post type for the recipes. The plugin doesn’t currently have the option to convert existing recipes.
Bonjour le thème peut-il être en français dans la partie recette ? les intitulés temps de préparation, temps de cuisson en français aussi ? merci
Hi, you can translate the text in the recipe card into French.
Hi, I wanted to know how to disable mouse click checked text in recipes. even if I select the “hide check boxes” option, the text is still “checked”.
Hi, I’ve replied to your support message to help with that.
How is the content edited? In Elementor?
Hi, the theme uses custom options to control the layout. It isn’t built on a page builder, such as Elementor.
Hi there! I have been trying to change the fonts for the content as well as the font sizes and colors but I couldn’t find any way to do that. Could you please help? Thanks
Hi, you would need to use a plugin to change the fonts used in the theme.
Hi, I’ve created a static home page for my blog and set it to be my home page. Its also made with the home page template. My recipe blog, which used to act as the home page, was saved as a blog. When I go to my website, lovethatlowcarb.com its taking me to the blog page. I’ve tried several different troubleshooting pages but can’t figure out what the issue is. I’ve read that some themes don’t support a static home page? Can you help?
Hi, could you send me a support message through my profile so I can better help you with that issue.
Hi there, I have a question. I asked this question I think one year ago and maybe now it is possible. Is it possible to add the “aggregate rating” rich snippet to the recipes in the theme? That would be awesome. Anja
Hi, the recipe plugin doesn’t currently have a review system built in. You should be able to use a review plugin though.
The thumbnails on the homepage aren’t being loaded. Instead much larger featured images are loaded and have to be shrunk down to fit the thumbnail size using CSS/HTML. While this is functional…the larger featured image take up a lot of bandwidth and it reduces the site speed.
Is there a way to just have the small thumbnails load on the homepage? Here is what I have been told on Wordpress.org forums.

I have navigated to appearance > customize > theme options and can’t find anything about post thumbnail sizes anywhere…
I have version 1.6…. is that out of date?
The current version of the theme is 1.10. You should be able to download that version and update your site to see the post thumbnail option.
Will the Theme look ok if i’ll translate it to an RTL language?
Hi, most elements throughout the theme have an alignment option so you can align the text to the right.
Hi,
Before I buy the theme I need to know if it’s possible change all the language to Portuguese (Brazil) and if the Plugins that I need to configure the theme also is included when I download the theme.
Hi,
The theme includes a POT file that you can use with a plugin to translate the text in the theme.
All of the required plugins to use the theme are included.
I just intalled this theme, there were no popups with plugins to install? And I don’t see the templates anywhere? I’ve checked the pages, templates, etc.
Hi, if you go to the plugins page, you should see a prompt at the top to install the required plugins.
I found it thank you!! Now I am adding my first recipe. Its showing the prep time and cook time, but the ingredients and instructions I added aren’t showing at all?
Hi, could you send me a support message with a link to the recipe you’ve created?
Compatible con woocommerce?
Hi, the theme isn’t designed to be a WooCommerce theme, but it should still work correctly. However, the pages provided by WooCommerce, such as product, basket, cart, etc, will all be the default styling of the plugin and not the theme.
Hi, Before I buy the theme, I wanted to ask again. When I look in the demo with the Firefox browser, I never see the main menu. The menu is displayed correctly in the Chrome browser. That means something is blocked there. Do you know any errors? And can you fix the error? I would like that every visitor can see my page correctly. It is a shame that the menu on the FireFox browser is not displayed. Because I don’t know if I should buy the theme then. That’s why I wanted to ask.
Hi,
I’ve just had a look at the theme in Firefox and the menu appears to work correctly for myself. Could you send me a support message with a screenshot of what the theme looks like for you? Also, which version of Firefox do you currently have?
when i buy this theme i find the content for my blog recipes for example 20 recipes or more
Hi,
I’ve replied to your customer support message.
Hi there! I have two questions for you all:
1) My client has already has a logo. Is it possible to replace the site logo with a PNG?
2) My client also has fonts they would like to use. Is it possible to update the fonts on the theme?
Thank you!
Hi,
1) You can replace the demo logo with your own in the customizer.
2) The fonts used within the theme can be changed, but you would need to use a plugin for that.
Can you tweak the print layout of the recipe to be fit in one page of the popular format A4, A5, B4, B5 etc. also on the print version, is it possible to reduce distance between lines in the ingredients section?
Hi,
Fitting all of the recipe card information onto a single print page might be difficult, but I can take a look at the print layout styling. I can also take a look at the spacing between ingredient items.
Hello, Is your theme compatible with woo commerce? Thank you
Hi, the theme isn’t designed to be an eCommerce theme, but it should still work correctly. However, the pages provided by WooCommerce, such as product, basket, cart, etc, will all be the default styling of the plugin and not the theme.
Hi, I’ve got one Problem. Now I have many recipes. But on the Page “Recipes” I can’t see all recipes. The older recipes disappeard. And there’s no butto to get to the older recipes. Is there a setting for that? Thank you.
Hi,
Are they recipes that you’ve created with the Cuisine recipe plugin or a different plugin?
With the cuisine Plugin.
Hi,
I’m not too sure why the recipes would disappear Could you send me a support message through my profile, it will be easier to help there.
Hey, is it possible to embed rich snippets in the recipe Plugin for optimizing the google search?
Hi,
The plugin should already work with rich snippets. The recipe card uses structured data which contains the information used for rich snippets.
And is it also possible to add a star Review? Or do I Need a Plug-in?
Hi,
The recipe plugin doesn’t currently have a review system.
Could you please, tell me what the font of the Menu is?
Hi,
The font used for the navigation menu is called “Lato”.
Thanks to you
You’re welcome.
