Hello bought the theme but the CMSMasters Contact Form is not working for me. I am not receiving the messages that people send me

Please make sure that you add the email address to the Contact form shortcode settings while editing the page with the form.

Don’t forget to add all the fields you used to your Message Composer, as shown on the example screenshot. Just click on all the fields you used save changes. Then message received when contact form is submitted, will include the entered information.

In a case the issue remains actual please contact your hosting provider to find out if the mailing option functions properly for your site. If the mailing option is turned on and functions correctly we kindly advise you to use Contact Form 7 plugin. Our Contact Form uses POP3 or SMTP protocol and the plugin we mentioned – another protocol of sending messages. Some servers do not support our protocol of sending, that’s why we recommend you an external plugin, which is surely compatible with the theme.

Added a video to the homepage as in demo (but had to use a youtube link as opposed to the mpeg format which won’t seem to work for me- are there size limitations to the mpeg?)

Main question is: can audio be enabled to play for the video on homepage?

Hi… On some of my Projects I have changed the Format to Gallery rather than standard. On the those Projects the images appear fine… but when you scroll over them and click one of the plus symbol that appear, you get to a load screen but the selected image never show up larger- just the grayed out screen. Do I have some settings incorrect?

Alternatively, if I leave it in Standard Format, is there a way to change the Slide Template under Revolution Slider Options? Right now it indicates “default” only… but I can’t find where to change the default. Sorry!

After you import demo content there is a need to set the event hours on your events: http://www.screencast.com/t/1HCtyeqFj1x . After that they will be displayed in the Timetable. The matter is that the Timetable plugin doesn’t allow to import the hours so there is a need to set the manually. Appreciate your understanding.

- Is there any update coming for GPDR compliance ?

- I have an issue with contact form, it is working but when I receive an email from the contact form ( Form Builder ), it says “Example – email@example.com” in the sender section. How can I change that ?

How does one update the theme, please advise ?

To update the theme please log in to your Envato account and download the zip-archive with the theme on your computer, unzip it and upload the new theme version on your server (please make sure there are no nested folders such as dance-studio/dance-studio). We recommend you to rename the theme version you used previously (for example name the theme folder “dance-studio-old”), in such a case this theme version will be backed up at your server.

Besides don’t forget to update plugins in case it is noted on the WordPress admin panel after the theme is updated. Sometimes there is also a need to deactivate the theme and activate it again to make all changes that were implemented function correctly.

Please note that you might need to clear your browser’s cache in order to see the changes.

Do you know if there is a way to remove “More Projects Box” on projects pages ? There is an option to “Hide More Posts Box” for posts ; but not for projects. Thanks in advance.

You can translate the profiles category page by creating cmsmasters_content_composer-lg_LG.po/cmsmasters_content_composer-lg_LG.mo in /wp-content/plugins/cmsmasters-content-composer/languages/ from cmsmasters_content_composer.pot file, and adding the translations for the needed strings to these files.

Hello, Dance Studio

We have a problem with some of the settings of your theme. When i go to themesettings and the tab content >the screen turns black

when i go to the menu’s and try to change anything, there is only a color changing popup and its blocking all my options.

do you know any solutions for this problem? Because we can’t change any of those settings right now.

Please make sure to use the latest theme version (1.1.7). The issue you have is caused by the WordPress 4.9 version, and there is a need to update the theme, please download the newest archive from the Themeforest.

The easiest way to update the theme is to rename the old theme as dance-studio-old in your wp-content/themes folder. Then you will be able to upload the new theme dance-studio.zip via the WordPress admin panel and activate it.

After the theme update, please proceed to Appearance > Theme Plugins, and update all the suggested plugins. Please note that you might need to clear your browser’s cache in order to see the changes.

This video is added as a background to the slide made with the help of Slider Revolution plugin. According to the plugin creators Vimeo/HTML5 or Youtube videos will not auto play on Mobile Devices (just like any other video plugins). To play them on mobile, you need to add the video as a Video Layer instead of Video Background.
