Theme DOESN’T WORK!!! Mobile menu doesn’t work. Drop-down accordion doesn’t work. And the SUPPORT SYSTEM IS A JOKE!!! Support hours are 1AM to 9AM?? “Priority” drop-down for ticket submission just says “LOW”? Is this really a JOKE?

Unfortunately, the Daycare – Kindergarden WordPress theme is not compatible with Visual Composer plugin, instead, is uses the WpBakery Builder which is bundled with the theme.
Problems with 3rd party plugins as Visual Composer are, unfortunately, out of the scope of our standard support and can be only investigate by the Premium Support. For more information please check our Support Policy.

When will update WPBakery Page Builder be available? The old version is causing problems – not letting to edit pages and also clashing with appearance. 12 months ago someone asked about it, but still nothing??? Quite unreliable.

I have a problem with posts. When I upload a photo in the posts it is cut inside the article and even outside in the preview. How can I solve it?

WordPress by default creates image thumbnails from every uploaded photo, so the all blog posts have images in one size. Here you can read about that: https://premium.wpmudev.org/blog/wordpress-image-sizes/
If your image looks cutted, it’s most probably cropped to defined featured image size. In daycare/functions.php you can find and edit registered sizes: screenshot. Feel free also to contact our support team at support@createit.com so they could help you with that.

For each theme style you will find dedicated child theme (which is in purchase package as a separate zip file named “desert.zip” or “grass.zip”). You need to upload the grass.zip in ‘themes’ section and activate it. It’s a child theme so make sure that default “daycare.zip” is also there (just don’t remove it). Hope it will resolve the issue.

To deactivate the animation of the theme please go to ‘Appearance > Theme Options > General > Main – Enable animations’ and choose Hide.
The theme provides an option to change the color of the background (but not the image used for it). To use it please go to ‘Appearance > Customize > Daycare – General settings’.

From what I checked the latest version of the package contains VisualComposer in version 5.3. To update the plugin please try to deactivate and uninstall the old version. After that, you should be able to install newer version of this plugin.
Also in this week, we are going to update the Daycare theme to version 3.1 which will provide an update for this plugin to version 5.6.

Hmmm… emails sent via the homepage are not being sent. I checked the “Email Address” under General Settings and the “To” email addresses in the contact forms and they are correct. Is there an additional stop to get the contact forms to send emails to the “Email Address”?

HI there, My client & I have like this theme, and we are also planning the future website development for him based on this theme, I have one query can you let me know, will this theme support any future updates as i can see the last update was provided on 19 August, 2017 and also One question will it make any conflict with the latest WordPress update ?

Daycare is tested with the latest WordPress version and it works ok. If any problems will be discovered we always provide bug fixes and support. Slider that you mentioned is part of our Demo Splash page and it’s not included in package. We can send it to you when you purchase the theme – just contact our support team (you will find contact info in ‘Support’ tab). Please note, that’s the splash page is not compatible with WordPress – it can be edited via HTML file.
