The answer for your question is “no” for both, actually

Whole demo was built using native WordPress block editor (Gutenberg). No page builder was used except for couple of pages built with Beaver Builder to demonstrate the theme works with any page builder. (Check the menu on theme demo website for what pages are built with a page builder.)

You can use whatever page builder plugin with the theme. https://webmandesign.github.io/docs/deborah/#any-page-builder

But the demo content was built using native WordPress block editor as that one is available for everyone out of the box, unlike page builder plugins. Please note though that block editor and page builders are not compatible with each other, so the demo content will not work in any page builder – basically you will need to build your pages from scratch if you want to use a page builder plugin.

Please note that the theme is as optimized as it gets and there is no plugin to speed up any theme as far as I know.

If you mean a website speed up and optimization, then you can use whatever solid optimization/caching plugin. There should be no issue with the theme compatibility. And in case you experience an issue, I’m ready to provide help at https://support.webmandesign.eu

Please understand that CoBlocks is only an additional blocks plugin I’ve personally used to build a demo website. User can decide to use whatever blocks plugin they prefer. CoBlocks is not integrated with the theme in any additional way, so there is no real point to recommend the plugin – I only tend to recommend plugins that have additional integration with the theme.

Also, please understand that there is a notification for installation of demo content required plugins, which may be different than theme plugin recommendations. This is clearly stated on Appearance → Import Demo admin page:

The information (or reference to the information) is provided also in theme documentation.

If you would like to apply sticky header/navigation in Deborah, this should be possible using a plugin such as https://wordpress.org/plugins/sticky-menu-or-anything-on-scroll/
