Hi. Thank you for a great theme. How do I change the background color of the portfolio grid? Also, I am changing the background of my site to be dark grey. The top tool bar has changed to dark grey, but there is a thick white line below it and a white line around each menu item
Hi, i have buy two licences… today i try to change a VERY BASIC THNIG and….... i can’t change the background colors of page section. Menu/header/footer work, but nothing for center page

Hi Diopter! I’m tying to get a hold of you on my situation so please get with me. My web developer and I are trying to change the main page for both the desktop and cell phone appearance. With the desktop appearance, I want to remove the video and logo over the video, and just add a photo. With the cell phone appearance, I want to replace the photo (there is no video option for cell phone). How can you change this both appearance with just a photo? I remember when we created my website, we saw this option but now we can’t find it anywhere. Please help!

Can you give me the steps to that? I tried the support ticket but when you get to it, you have to sign in. I’m already signed in with Themeforest. So why do you have to login again? And when I go login with my same themeforest account it says invalid. So how am I suppose to log in? I need exact instructions to do this. My original issue needs to be resolved fast. Thanks!

Hi, I would like to know if it is possible to have more portfolios, for more photographers, for example:
Image photographer 1, image photographer 2, image photographer 3… click on photo’s photographer 1 and I have
photographers 1 >>> image work 1 >> gallery 1 (more photos) >>> image work 2 >> gallery 2 (more photos) >>> image work 3 >> gallery 3 (more photos)
and the same for another photographers one the first page

Hello. When you open a photo on each single portfolio item, I want be able to load on the lightgallery buttons the FULL SCREEN and the DOWNLOAD one. Is it difficult to add them? I need the people on the phone to download the photo and make it full screen.

the theme got a pretty nice style and fits my needs with just little customization. So, great job!
But I am highly dissapointed that the “Home Image” and “Home Slider” Features are not 100% responsive. On Smartphones it looks terrible and is just almost not usable. Is there a workaround to fix that?
(For example in your demo the button is cut off and the “Welcome” Text doesnt rezise at all.)

Hi, 1, Yes, it’s compatible with WPML plugin.
2, There is no dark version, there are color options on theme options panel which you can use to customize theme color.

3. yes this is demo is close … i don’t mind about info, i just want to know if i can fix my images dimensions in such a way that they fit exactly to slider area(in this demo image is cropped top/bottom)
also is it possible to control how many images are visible each time? for example can i have galleries that show 2 images and scroll 2 steps
The slider display images as background with background-size:cover attribute so it will fit to all screen size. But it’s not possible to fit exactly the slider area.
Also it’s a carousel slider so you can set number of items per slide.
Hello, is it possible to disable the top menu on all pages? Can I change the theme easily to a dark version? Can I add a search bar into portfolio? Sometimes there is a scrollbar (horizontal and vertical) in a single Portfolio description (like in Type 5). Can I disable this?

1, Yes, It’s possible.
2, The are color options on theme options panel, so you can use them to generate dark version. You can also add your custom style to theme css editor.
3, It only visible when your content is too hight.

Thank you. This sounds good so far. But one more question please: I will have a big amound of portfolios: hundrets or thousands in future. To order them, can I link to a portfolio in a portfolio (like in deep taxonomy, for example: Clothes -> shoes -> red shoes / black shoes…)?
All demo pages and portfolios were built with Visual Composer plugin and its custom element and you can use Portfolio Grid element (which display portfolio items from selected categories ) to a portfolio item content. And I think it’s possible.

Regarding Portfolio -> Single -> Style 1 page:
1. The page starts with the carousel, and you can click on ‘Show thumbnails’. Is it possible to start this page with the thumbnails, instead of the slider? And then, when you click on a thumbnail, the carousel slider shows up?
2. Can we have image descriptions/titles underneath the thumbnails?

Sorry, I meant “layouts”. My guess is posts in Springbook should be more customizable than in Diopter but I might be wrong. Would you say one can publish posts the same way using both themes? Or are there any features Diopter doesn’t have, since it doesn’t seem as intended for blogging as Springbook? I hope this is clearer now. Thanks!
They’re the same. You can setup layouts from theme options panel or using custom elements in Visual Composer builder. Also there are options in post for its format.
