Can you help me with the Mascot Core – Dogsitter WP en Dogsitter WP theme. These are not functioning with php 8.0 or higher. My hosting provider don’t support php 7.4 or lower. We like the theme and keep the theme.

This is the only comment I’ve written so far on Themeforest to point out the bad experience that I have with this HTML bundle.
First of all, there is a tone of code. MP-Layout-1 has approx 2400 lines of code. Also tons of CSS classes. TONS OF THEM! I’ve purchased HTML bundles with kind of the same amount of content and didn’t had more than 800-900 lines of HTML in the homepage. And they were even less than half of the price. There is also a TONE of useless CSS, and it’s very very poorly organized, thing that makes it hard for me to clear the unnecessary CSS. Again, I’ve purchased HTML files for half the price and the CSS was better organised.
Also, as a heads up for who wants to purchase this, the photos are not included. This if anyone was wondering.
Also check twice or three times before purchasing this template. I’ve looked at this bundle price 5-6 days ago and the price was 23$. I’ve purchased it yesterday for 29$. I said ok, that’s it, 6$ more. I check the price today, it’s 23$ again. You’ve gotta be kidding me.
This is the worst experience with purchasing a HTML bundle so far.
ALSO TONS OF JS FILES WTF IS WRONG WITH THIS BUNDLE?? THIS IS THE WORST EVER EVER. I HAVE NEVER SEEN A WORST JOB THAN THIS!!

Hi, just upload “dogsitter-client-html” folder. It has a lot of html files. The main file is “index-pet-mp-layout1.html”. Remove unnecessary html files beside this file.

Hi Ismail, thank you for the answer. I have upload the folder in the wordpress theme folder but i can not activate it. Als i dont see the index-pet-mp-layout1.html file, i see a index-mp-layout1.html file. Do i need to activate the template? In the manual this is not very clear.

Thanks for your quick reply, but I do not use an email address above the server but another. You also have a sendmail-without-phpmailer.php file, I’ve also used this but could not send!

But you need to create a sample email address on the server and then collect SMTP info and put there. And as a receiver, you can use any other email address.

Their answers are not expedient, they constantly point to the forum, all their help which ones do you offer? There is a template for the template, this is not correct. Then you should revise your template tutorial because it is wrong !!!
You write in the template tutorial at ContactForm: For placing your email adress, just go to action action location action = “includes / sendmail.php” and open the sendmail.php file in includes folder. In that php file at line 32, you will see $ toemail =’Spam.thememascot@gmail.com’; Now just replace that email address with your own email address. Now yours contact form is ready!
That is incomprehensible, because there is no such line! There are files for this, where there is no reference: quickcontact, reservation, sendemail-with-autoresponder, sendmail, sendmail-recapcha, sendmail-without-phpmailer to use these and how they should be used.
Too bad, the template is very good in layout and design, but not in the FUNCTION what the e-mail concerns, unfortunately only faulty !!!
I would have expected more, this was the weakest support I have ever since I joined Envato Market Template buy (since 2014 with over 50 templates) I received, unfortunately! You will not even find it worth while and a corrected file which could work as well to send! What should actually belong to the template, then I would not support need!!!!!!!!!!

I may have too hastily made my selection, as I was drawn to the “animal” themed content. However, there are WP compatible products that would be better solutions for me, as the selected HTML5 solution is not. This was an oversight during my search, admittedly. I also overlooked that the demoed images are not included in the purchase, and as such it’d make more sense for me to select one of your WP compatible solutions, instead of the Pet Care version. Could I possibly be allowed to exchange this for a different product? Thanks!
