If you don't renew support you cannot access to the support historical forums. Even if you are trying to figure out why the latest update is not working.
I understand it is frustrating having to pay for support. It is however what allows us to continue to update and develop the theme, as well as paying for the support staff who are there to help you every day.
Plus, you're more than welcome to post onto the comments section of the Theme. If it is a Theme issue, we're more than happy to help.
I bought this a long time ago and have used it for a while. I decided to update and went with a pre-built newly installed demo site and built around that. The footer on the site has errors in the custom-widgets.php. Because I bought it so long ago, I no longer have access to support and now I have to troubleshoot what was the developers issue in the first place.
I'm happy to take a look at this for you. You can contact me via my Avatar > Contact Form. For access to the Help Center, you simply need to renew your support package :)
However, it has not been updated since April 2016. This means that it has a very old Visual Composer version which now poses a problem.
I feel there is something of a moral issue here. If one purchases a theme with an inbuilt function such as VC I don't think it's unreasonable to expect to be kept reasonably up to date. Of course what 'reasonably' means is in itself an issue for discussion. But in my case it doesn't feel reasonable that 4.2.2 was published inJune 2014 and since which time a major release of VC in November 2016 was issued. I have discovered that the last update to the Dynamix theme was April 2016, hence the old VC version.
Despite the themes being good I am left with a rather bad feeling about this.
Version 7 is now available, it's been completely revamped, all with the latest versions of Visual Composer etc. You can check out the new version, along with brand new demos here - http://dynamix.acoda.com
Dynamix was the first Theme I ever bought on Themeforest & it's certainly not been the last (7 licences so far) - but it's definitely been the one I return to time & time again.
Superfast to customise, great freedom in terms of layout, fabulous support from the Acoda Team who have patiently answered every single question I've ever asked (& often going above & beyond their support remit in order to do so)
TBH I think that it's a vastly underrated Theme in terms of what you can do with it, while the demo looks quite Corporate: I've built 7 very different styles of websites using it; from Photography & Portfolio sites to Corporate Finance websites & every time I've been able to pretty much design something freehand and then build it in Dynamix.
I've read on a thread somewhere that Acoda are planning to update the Theme considerably - I can't wait to see what they're going to do with it!
