I think I may have figured this out…. obvious. Envato was disconnected from the website. I Need to reinstall the key. Which I don’t have. maybe the last guy has it, or maybe the client has it. Otherwise I re-buy or start over. :-/

The latest theme version is available for download on Themeforest. To update the theme please download the zip-archive with the theme on your computer, unzip it and upload the new theme version on your server (please make sure there are no nested folders such as ecologie/ecologie). We recommend you to rename the theme version you used previously (for example name the theme folder “ecologie-old”), in such a case this theme version will be backed up at your server.

Besides don’t forget to update plugins as it is noted on the WordPress admin panel after the theme is updated.

Another way is to update the theme automatically. To update the theme automatically you should use the Envato Market plugin. After activating the plugin, click on the “Envato Market” icon from the left sidebar. To generate your Global OAuth Personal Token click on this link https://account.envato.com/sign_in?to=envato-api and login using your Envato Market login details. Please copy & paste your unique token into the Envato settings inside your WordPress dashboard and click on “Save Changes”. Once you have configured this properly, you will see a screen where you can install or update your already purchased plugins & themes.

Please note that in case you modified the theme files (theme code) and update the theme via Envato Market plugin changes that you implemented will be lost because the new theme version will overwrite the theme version you use at the moment.

The theme comes with the custom CMSMasters Donations plugin that is aimed to be used for donations.

Basic WooCommerce plugin isn’t supposed to provide desired functional. You can try to use some WooCommerce addon for the purpose but we should note that the theme guarantees correct work with the basic WooCommerce plugin, while we cannot guarantee support and compatibility for all the extensions that are distributed additionally as we didn’t test their functioning with the theme. This is a general practice, appreciate your understanding.

It’s sad. Because this theme is about money. Beautiful styles, great functionality, a shortcode-based Content Composer — it’s all great. But what is all this for? The method of getting money is quite primitive and kills the essence of the theme.
However, I like to think I will buy it anyway.
