Sad to hear such a disappointment. We have located all 3 support tickets and established couple of things.
When it comes to responsiveness, our agent already explained the issue with resizing browser window and the consequences of changing from portrait to landscape orientation & vice versa. This is simply how our themes work and the scripts in question really depend on page reload to work properly. Not really much to say about this. Sure, there're more advanced techniques than page reload, but we didn't implement them in Elision theme specifically. Sorry about that.
Regarding additional customization of 404 and search page, our agent clearly stated what should you do to modify these a bit, however you need to know that these modifications are very limited and that is simply how our theme was designed and coded. Any further styling and/or modification would consider as custom coding and you'd have to hire a freelancer to complete this task, because we help our users with default theme options and the request you sent doesn't regard to one of them.
Last but not least, menu on touch devices. There's clearly been a misunderstanding between you and the agent(s). They didn't understand you're not looking at the Apple device, that's why they couldn't know how to help you. We usually receive requests for iOS' devices, so naturally they inspected your issue on iPad.
We're very sorry for the inconvenience and we would very much like to straighten these things out. Have in mind that we did our best to help you guys out and meet all your needs, but sometimes mistakes can happen. Sorry about that.
