Honestly there has got to be an issue with the theme and the countdown. first of all I dont want to use the layer slider. so im using the countdown with elementor. second I cant get the css cause doing an inspect resets it all the time. and the style tab of the countdown doesnt show anything. its blank. whats the fix?

i did read your comment to @marimorencylee and Yoast along with other brands still breaks the theme ( by break, i mean i can no longer do any editing with elementer)

I’ve already been trying with Yoast and WP Total catch 3 and the other top SEO plugins. I did check to see if it is theme break and it is not. The issue is totally with elementor and Yoast.
Elementor creator just spins and never allows me to make selections but once I get rid of any style of SEO plugins.. it starts working again. I think the theme itself is fine but I just cant get Yoast whom I work with on my other 8 sites to work on this one.

I saw that in the speakers’ profiles we could put the sessions they are participating in but can we link those to the actual sessions so that people can get more info (eg who else is speaking, session description).
Also, if we’re not using the demo site as a template, how easy would it be to assemble the different elements from scratch?

From admin end Event post type you can create event and schedule. Better import full demo then see how we add data in admin end. Then follow that way if you don’t want to import demo data in your site.
