I bought the theme already. Can I have a file copy of the exact demo file? Because I’m having problem in trying to the do the same effect on some parts of the site.
(I have already read the documentations and instructions, but their are some effects which are missing)
Can you please contact me privately by using our profile contact form and I will provide you the demo exported file.
Hi have emailed already on your profile, but haven’t got any message from you guys. Thanks.
I sent you an email one day ago, didn’t you receive it? If not and if you have another e-mail address where I can send you the file, can you send me another message with that e-mail address included?
Will send it now again on your online profile… I didn’t received any email. Thanks.
I have just sent you an email, I hope you will receive this one.
Hello, have this theme portfolio section? I want to migrate all the post and portfolio from an old Pexeto theme Delicius to this one. Is it posible?
I’m not sure if I understand your question correctly – do you have another Pexeto theme and you would like to migrate to Evermore? If yes, what is the name of the theme? We don’t have a theme called Delicius.
Yes, is what I mean, but sorry, the name of the theme is Dandelion, no delicius.
If you are currently using Dandelion, the portfolio posts will be recognised by Evermore (the same post type is used by both themes), but you will have to just reassign the images, as Dandelion uses the “Preview Image URL” field to set an image and Evermore uses the WordPress “Featured Image” field.
I purchased this theme and have been using it to design my photo portfolio. I really like the clean and minimal design.
I have come across two major issues for photographers. First, the TimThumb resizing process for the Nivo slider strips the color profile from an image. This is an issue for any photographer who cares about color management. I found a fix online but it seems like the theme should include that kind of fix already if it is going to be marketed as a theme for people who want to use it to display portfolios.
Second, the resizing process for the Quick Gallery results in very fuzzy thumbnails because the resizing equation was resulting in thumbnails that are off by one pixel. My software developer boyfriend spent about an hour trouble-shooting and fixing this. I would have preferred to have the default Wordpress gallery option left alone as it works much better on it own than with the clunky additions with the theme. Fuzzy thumbnails are unacceptable.
The bullets also didn’t appear in the blog posts, which required another edit of the the style sheet. All of these small things make this theme frustrating to use.
A really attractive theme but also buggy. I am pretty disappointed with this theme because of these issues.
Just wanted to provide a comment to what you have mentioned above:
- colors with Timthumb – at this point I’m not aware of such kind of problem – Timthumb is a very popular script that is used widely in many themes and so far I haven’t seen Timthumb changing the colors of the resized image . Anyway, if for some reason you experience such kind of problems, you can very easily disable the Timthumb resizing in the Nivo slider settings section.
- image resizing in Quick Gallery – I’m not sure if I understand this, as the resizing works very well for me. However if you want, we can discuss it further on our support site here.
- bullets – I just noticed that the default bullets are not displayed (you are the first one to report this) and will fix it in the next update. However, the theme also provides different bullet styles that work just fine and you can use.
I prefer to make this integrated plugin work, not to buy a separate one.

P.S. Some servers require a specific format of the message (it is actually very rare), I think this can be easily adjusted with a small code modification, however before posting can you please contact your hosting support and ask them about the message format requirements on your server.
this is a great them. I would like to buy it, but I need the “search” option. Its missing in this theme or its possible to add it?
Thx for answer!
Thanks, I’m glad you like the theme
You can use the default WordPress search functionality – you can see an example in the sidebar of the Blog page, it can be also added to the footer area.
Oh sorry, didnt see it. Thx for the quick reply! The purchase is sure;-).
Does this theme allow me to make the “Read More” link optional on blog posts? I usually prefer to include all post content on the main blog page, but every once in a while I need to use the “More” link.
Yes, you can insert the “More” link wherever you like – you can have some posts with the full content displayed and the ones can have a partial content displayed with a “More” link.
Sweet! I’ll buy it.
I bought your Evermore theme. see it at http://www.dogtales.ru
I have a tech problem, which I an not post at your support, because i ve done the purchase at Envato – was redirected there by this site, thats why writing here.
Point is, that I downloaded the woocommerce wp-plugin in order to have a possibility to sell my book.
Your theme does not support it and woocommerce asks to make the wookomerce.php with modifying your page.php. To replace a loop.
I am stupid one in php. PLS HEEEEELP:) thank you in advance.
Waiting for your kind answer
Why there is 314 errors found by the W3C in demo?
P.S. Most of the errors are from the style switcher that is not included in the theme and from ampersand symbol in the URL formats of Timthumb which are required to be in this format. Anyway, there is really nothing to worry about – we have followed best practices when building the theme code – everything is working very well and this doesn’t cause any issues, if you want you can check this article to read more about the validation.
I really like your them and I’m quite on the edge to buy it. I really like the approach and the idea behind your pexeto panel. Unfortunately I found the “Evermore” theme by looking up “the Cotton” what is really a favorite of mine.
I really spend some time thinking this over. I would prefer the “the Cotton” theme, but if I get that right, the last update is almost 2 years old and I have some bad experiences with changes in Wordpress and “older” themes. Therefore I’m more in to “Evermore”, which is also awesome, even if it’s a bit less perfect for me.
I would like to ask you for your professional advice, is it better to invest in the newer development, in the “Evermore” or is there no difference and the choice of “the cotton” is basically the same thing. I’m looking for use for quite some time…
I really appreciate the advice,
We always make sure that our themes work well with the latest version of WordPress – in fact, we will release updates of all of our themes very soon, when the next WordPress is released as it includes some new features. Although The Cotton is older, it works very well and includes advanced back-end functionality (such as Pexeto Panel, advanced slider management, etc.). Generally, if you like the design of both themes, I would suggest choosing the newer one as it provides more options, however if you decide to use The Cotton – everything should be working well with it as well.
Thanx for the advice and somehow the assurance. I finally decided to use “the cotton”. I never mind the newer features. It is more about the theme itself and the styling.
And last but not least it is good to hear that you take long term care about your themes…
I hope you will enjoy working with the theme
Two pre-sale questions:
- in the blog section can I put images 600px wider
- in the portfolio/gallery section can I use 1000px images wider?
The standard blog layout images are 590 pixels wide by default – 10px don’t do much of a difference, however if you really need them to be 600px, you can use the full-width blog layout and manually insert the image into the content in the size you like.
This is pity somehow because I needed the normal blog section to have 600px – I’m using actually Dandelion theme No way to extend from 590px to 600px?
By default there isn’t such kind of option, so it would require a few code modifications – as the layout is flexible, it should be easy to accomplish this.
Hi, I am looking at purchasing this theme as the structure nearly covers off everything I need – i will need to do a lot of customization though to the look and one thing I need to be able to do is to add different background images (full-screen background) in to different sections of the site – I see that you have support for a full-screen background – will I be able to do a different background on different pages/sections?
The theme supports a background pattern image, but not a full-screen background image – if you need a full-screen background image, you will have to apply a few modifications (mainly CSS). Otherwise, our Expression and Photolux themes support this functionality on different pages as well.
Thanks but I have had a look at those themes and they aren’t anything like what I need – Evermore is just what I need but with a background image (which would be easy to do the same background throughout the whole site, but not so easy to do in different sections). Is there any chance you would add this functionality over time? I am having a lot of trouble finding another Theme that works just like Evermore…
I will add this to my update request list and will be considering it for the future theme development. However, as I mentioned above, it is easy to accomplish this with a few CSS modifications – you can see a tutorial about how to do this here.
I’m new to Wordpress and was interested in buying this theme but I was wondering is it possible to customize the navigation so that a Gallery (portfolio) page can be used as the Homepage section instead of the Homepage that’s displayed in the preview?
Yes, you can have the gallery as a home page – you can make any page to be your home page.
You did great…
Just one question, this ability for RTL language exists in the template?
if it doesn’t is there any solution?
By default there isn’t an option to change the text direction to right-to-left, but I think this can be accomplished with a few CSS modifications to the main paragraph and heading elements.
If you go to the live preview of this theme – galleries – standard layouts – 4 columns, and then choose the “fresh fruit”, the slider with a text box on the right side appears. That’s cool. My question though: would I be able to make the slider and the content (text box) 50/50 (space arrangement). My pictures are all squares, so it would be better if the picture-slider was a square too. If this isn’t possible, I’d like to know; does the slider crop/rearrange the pictures, or not?
Thanks in advance, love the theme!
I’m glad you like the theme
By default there isn’t an option to change the width of those sections, but there is an option to change the height of the entire slider section, so if you have square images, you can just increase the default height and the images will get in a square form.
That’s too bad.. they’d become too big. Could you tell me what’s the best size for the slider pictures right now? I’ll just create a white space on both sides of my pictures then. Guess I’ll buy the theme! Thanks
The default image size is 644×450 , I hope you will enjoy working with the theme!
Hi – I am finding this theme really easy to use – the easiest of any Wordpress theme I have ever used – thank you!
I have a question though: Can I do a 2/3 1/3 column layout easily within the Theme or will I need to write the code myself?
I have a couple of pages that I need to do a left-hand column that is around 60-70% and right-hand 30-40%.
I’m very happy to hear that you find the theme easy to use!
P.S. By default there isn’t an option to set different sizes to the sidebars in the different pages, but you may consider using an advanced columns plugin to insert the columns in the layout you like in a full-width page.
The home page bring attention to the gallery. It’s more oriented at showing the gallery. Is there a way of customizing the home page to have blog posts instead?
I’m a photographer and I’ll have a bunch of pictures, but I want my blog to be the central point.
I’m not sure if I understand your question correctly – are you asking whether you can have the “Latest projects” carousel on the home page linking to blog posts? If this is your question – generally each of the items in the carousel represent a portfolio item (post) which is not the same as a blog post, however each of them provides an option to open a custom link, so you can create a portfolio item and link it to the blog post you like.
How to change the slug ‘portfolio’ to ‘products’?
P.S. Sorry for the late reply, we have been travelling during the last couple of days.
how can i change the image size from the portfolio carousel? I tried it with evermore options -> slider settings -> portfolio slider but it dosent work. There is no effect, when i change the image height. Also it reduce the image resolution so it looks pixelated.
Thx for help!
by the way its a great theme!:)
