Can your theme allow me to sell ad space
Thank you for taking interest in FindMe!
Our theme supports multiple sidebars, side areas and banners that you can rent for advertising. Here’s an example of a right sidebar http://findme.elated-themes.com/standard-right-sidebar/And here’s an example of a banner http://findme.elated-themes.com/elements/banner/Hope this was helpful, let us know!
hey! send a new ticket, help me.
Support agent has been informed, your ticket will be answered as soon as possible.
Hello Team, great theme!
I have a few pre-sale questions:
1.) Is it possible to build a classified platform with this template (for products)?
2.) Is it possible to post an ad without login/register first (or only while already posting an ad)?
3.) Does this theme supports “pay per ad” or “pay to make ad featured”?
1. Please elaborate a bit on this one, what exactly does classified platform mean?
2. Only registered users can post a listing if that’s what you meant. This can probably be turned off in the code itself.
3. To be honest, never heard of that, but it doesn’t look like a theme-related task. You should probably try to integrate these with some additional code or a 3rd party plugin.
How to activate Revolution Slider? The purchase code is not working.
The plugins that you got after the purchase are called bundled and we, as a theme authors, have purchased an extended licence for them. That means you don’t have to activate them and they’ll work for you regardless of that.
In the following text we’ll explain how the bundled plugins work:
Bundled plugins offer the same core features and functionality as the standalone version of the item on CodeCanyon.
Some plugins may ask for a purchase code for registration/activation once installed, however, you can simply ignore these messages as bundled plugins do not require activation or registration. The plugin will still work as intended with the theme once the theme has been activated/registered.
When a plugin is updated, the theme author will include the latest version of the bundled plugin with their next theme update. So you can easily update the bundled plugin when you next update your theme.
Thanks for your prompt reply, but without the registration code I can’t import any free templates?
You can import all predefined templates from FindMe theme, just look for xml_export folder in your installation. Default Rev Slider’s templates are locked in extended licence version.
What is the current version of the theme and What is the best way to update the theme?
The current is Version 1.4 – May 26th
You can find information on theme update here
In the documentation there is no information about the Mega Menu.
Can you please share some more information? I would like to create a Mega Menu just like your demo has under “Elements”.
Do I have to use specific css classes?
All you should do is to set for Parent Menu type to be Wide, and then below nest sub menu items.
Please, check this screenshot https://www.screencast.com/t/bZ70yTEZk9RW
Hello. I have used that exact settings, but the menu is not working correct. Please see https://www.useloom.com/share/c402e6578efc442aa129301336dbc981
It looks like menu is wide, but sub menu items are not added well Could you, please, send us here your site URL. Thanks
Hello there, the website is http://listify.nl/
Also, is there an option to categorize listing based on the “Region”? I’m using WP Job Manager Regions and I would like to display listings for one region.
Your mega menu is not configured correctly. Please turn off all 3rd party plugins you may have installed and try again. Make sure parent menu item has “wide” box checked, as per previous screenshot.
All listings can be sorted by regions, as you can see here https://www.screencast.com/t/4yNXlayo3Elated
About the regions, I’m talking about this page: http://findme.elated-themes.com/elements/listing-advanced-search/
There is no option to filter on my active regions.
For example, this could be used as a landingpage for “Restaurants in Pisa”, where only restaurants in Pisa are being displayed.
And would it also be possible to use a filter for tags on that same page? I can’t find the file for the sidebar of the advanced search.
Will there be a new update for the theme with functions like this?
If you want to have some sort of regions filter in the sidebar, you can manually open every region and paste the link in the “Custom HTML” widget which you’ll place in Sidebar widget area, here’s an example http://findme.elated-themes.com/listing-region/aventino/
The same can be achieved with tags, just click on a tag and copy URL to “Custom HTML” widget in your sidebar.
Hope this was helpful, let us know.
Hi there, thanks for the quick answer. That is not exactly what I mean. I try to explain:
On this page (http://findme.elated-themes.com/listing-region/aventino/) there are filters: Keyword, Region, Categories, Amenities and more.
I want these exact filters to also show up in the “Listing Advanced Search” function.
Now only Categories and Amenities are showing up in the side bar.
Next to that, I would also like to add Tags to these filters.
Also, what would be a great feature: when using the “Listing Advanced Search” in Visual Composer I can set settings to: Listing type—> the listing type that I select. See: https://ibb.co/nffmsK
It would be nice to also have a function for: Region and Tags there.
That way you can show a beautiful page with predefined filters for the website visitor.
Inserting these filters to this page http://findme.elated-themes.com/elements/listing-advanced-search/ is not possible because there’re no such widgets registered that you can insert to sidebar.
You can only go to template file in charge of listing region taxonomy and extract that part of code, which you’ll later register as a widget. That widget can then be inserted to any sidebar.
Okay then I will try that.
Can you direct me to the file where I can find the sidebar of this page: http://findme.elated-themes.com/elements/listing-advanced-search/
Sure, you can find it in wp-content\plugins\eltd-listing\shortcodes\listing-advanced-search\templates\holder.php
There are only 2 lines there:
$object = new Front\ListingTypeFieldCreator($type_id);
I can not find any code anywhere that is displaying the amenities and categories. Where do I find this?
I have found shortcodes from WP Job Manager to filter listings on region and tags. This works perfect. Unfortunately these shortcodes do not use the FindMe styling, therefore I can not use them.
Can you please consider this feature for the next release of your theme?
holder.php file only calls for these 2 sidebar items. If you want to edit the content, you should go to wp-content\plugins\eltd-listing\lib\front-end-field-creator.php and look for this class -> eltd-ls-adv-search-field-wrapper
We will forward this feature request to our developers’ team, but we can’t tell you precisely if they’ll include something like this in some future theme updates.
Hello, I have few questions regarding your theme.
1) It’s possible to filter on the date when doing the search?
2) Can a user add a place by himself? Is there a interface for that? Can a user user acces this interface without being an administrator?
3)Can a user edit a place’s information by himself? (picture, hours, equipments, ...)
1. Searching listings by date is not possible. You can only sort them by date: https://www.screencast.com/t/dpXjOwKihn8I
2. Yes, you can try to add a listing from header and log in using “test “test” credentials.
3. Yes, user can edit a place he published.
