Can your theme allow me to sell ad space

Hello,

Thank you for taking interest in FindMe!

Our theme supports multiple sidebars, side areas and banners that you can rent for advertising. Here’s an example of a right sidebar http://findme.elated-themes.com/standard-right-sidebar/

And here’s an example of a banner http://findme.elated-themes.com/elements/banner/

Hope this was helpful, let us know!

Hello Team, great theme!

I have a few pre-sale questions:

1.) Is it possible to build a classified platform with this template (for products)?

2.) Is it possible to post an ad without login/register first (or only while already posting an ad)?

3.) Does this theme supports “pay per ad” or “pay to make ad featured”?

Many thanks -a

Hello,

Thank you for taking interest in FindMe!

1. Please elaborate a bit on this one, what exactly does classified platform mean?

2. Only registered users can post a listing if that’s what you meant. This can probably be turned off in the code itself.

3. To be honest, never heard of that, but it doesn’t look like a theme-related task. You should probably try to integrate these with some additional code or a 3rd party plugin.

How to activate Revolution Slider? The purchase code is not working.

Hello,

The plugins that you got after the purchase are called bundled and we, as a theme authors, have purchased an extended licence for them. That means you don’t have to activate them and they’ll work for you regardless of that.

In the following text we’ll explain how the bundled plugins work:

Bundled plugins offer the same core features and functionality as the standalone version of the item on CodeCanyon.

Some plugins may ask for a purchase code for registration/activation once installed, however, you can simply ignore these messages as bundled plugins do not require activation or registration. The plugin will still work as intended with the theme once the theme has been activated/registered.

When a plugin is updated, the theme author will include the latest version of the bundled plugin with their next theme update. So you can easily update the bundled plugin when you next update your theme.

You can read more about this here: https://help.market.envato.com/hc/en-us/articles/213762463-Bundled-Plugins

Thanks for your prompt reply, but without the registration code I can’t import any free templates?

Hi,

You can import all predefined templates from FindMe theme, just look for xml_export folder in your installation. Default Rev Slider’s templates are locked in extended licence version.

Hi there, In the documentation there is no information about the Mega Menu. Can you please share some more information? I would like to create a Mega Menu just like your demo has under “Elements”. Do I have to use specific css classes?

Hi again,

Sure, you can find it in wp-content\plugins\eltd-listing\shortcodes\listing-advanced-search\templates\holder.php

Best,
Elated

There are only 2 lines there: $object = new Front\ListingTypeFieldCreator($type_id); $object->getAdvSearchHtml();

I can not find any code anywhere that is displaying the amenities and categories. Where do I find this?

I have found shortcodes from WP Job Manager to filter listings on region and tags. This works perfect. Unfortunately these shortcodes do not use the FindMe styling, therefore I can not use them.

Can you please consider this feature for the next release of your theme?

Hi again,

holder.php file only calls for these 2 sidebar items. If you want to edit the content, you should go to wp-content\plugins\eltd-listing\lib\front-end-field-creator.php and look for this class -> eltd-ls-adv-search-field-wrapper

We will forward this feature request to our developers’ team, but we can’t tell you precisely if they’ll include something like this in some future theme updates.

Hello, I have few questions regarding your theme. 1) It’s possible to filter on the date when doing the search? 2) Can a user add a place by himself? Is there a interface for that? Can a user user acces this interface without being an administrator? 3)Can a user edit a place’s information by himself? (picture, hours, equipments, ...)

Regards

Hello,

Thank you for taking interest in FindMe.

1. Searching listings by date is not possible. You can only sort them by date: https://www.screencast.com/t/dpXjOwKihn8I

2. Yes, you can try to add a listing from header and log in using “test “test” credentials.

3. Yes, user can edit a place he published.
