Yes, its using revolution slider. You add videos using revolution slider.

You can’t add portfolio projects in the slider.

We tested with Chrome latest version and its worked perfect.

1) Right now its not ad compatible, however each page can be built through shortcodes, so you can place ads anywhere on the page

2) Yes, you can show blog page a home page

3) Yes, you can create rolling menus from Appearance > Menus by adding alternate hover text

4) Are you asking about header banner? You can change header banner for each page

5) No, theme doesn’t come with paid subscription
