Why when I download Folio Two package and open it in my computer sections and works seems don´t work? A warning show me a message “Error loading work…”
This issue is very common, specially if you open the template in Chrome or Opera.
This two browsers have a special security directive that don´t let run locally sites that use AJAX calls. Well, this doesn´t mean you can´t work with your pages in local (your computer).
You can run your new template using Firefox for example, there you will see that the site is running without “problems”. But anyway, you want to use Chrome or Opera, ok. I use chrome too!
In order to getting run correctly and the best practice for working with websites is using a local server. But don´t worry, this is not difficult of use. Just download MAMP (MAC), WAMP (WIN) or XAMP (LNX) and follow the instructions to install. In two minutes you will have a complete solution for working locally with all kind of websites, you could use even PHP and run locally complex sites for testing your wordpress themes or templates.
Really a local solution like this is the best practice to work with websites, try it! it´s very easy to implement and start working with it!
