How can I add a widget code to the home page that begins and ends in div tags?

Hi!

Widgets can be added to the Home page via Visual Composer plugin.

Thanks, CreateIT

You guys need to consider hiring someone else for support during weekends. I get holidays happen but I submitted my ticket Thursday.. Now my issues won’t be resolved until Monday.. Very frustrating.

Hello. After updating to version 5.3 I am having serious issues with page load speeds. Usualy it takes about 10 s to load my page. The website is: http://www.upala.sk/ . I will be thankful for any suggestions.

I had to switch back to the older version of the theme, because activating the new theme deleted all of my products and the did not reappear even after swithing back to the old theme. I am very lucky that I did a full backup of the site before. This is a serious issue guys.

I am using W3 total cache and also I have a custom built WP Virtual Server. All of my other websites are loadint within 500 – 1000 ms

Hi!

Do you mean woocommerce products or menu products? Because Woocommerce products can be deleted if you remove the WooCommerce plugin from your website (or can be hidden if you deactivate the plugin).

Hi there,

I suspect the conversion from food truck default to visual composer shortcodes doesn’t actually work.

I mean the conversion of the actual shortcodes seems to work and I can see the new converted VC shortcodes, but when I switch between classic view and basic editor, the rows and columns I should be seeing normally with Visual Composer are not actually visually present.

I can see the shortcodes in Classic View, but nothing shows up in Basic Editor. I’ve tried this with and without activating the Visual Composer plugin first.

Also, if I now switch to Basic Editor and create a new VC element on the top of my current converted elements that I can’t see, all of my shortcodes will disappear, I mean get deleted.

Also, someone mentioned in previous comments that they lost all their products when updating to Truck theme 5 from previous versions.

This could happen if you delete woocommerce when updating the theme as you mentioned in your reply, that’s correct.

BUT in this case it actually happens when you only deactivate Woocommerce during the update. You will loose the entire product list. 76 in my case ;)

Btw. I also confirm a massive change in the loading times. The site now loads 3 times slower. I am already using Total Cache plugin well configured.

Correction – Visual Composer’s “Backend Editor” I meant in my previous message, not the Basic Editor .. sorry

Hi!

Classic mode in Visual Composer will let you see the VC shortcodes so in this mode the box view is not avaliable, only in the Backend editor you will be able to see and use the drag and drop elements editor.

About any other problems with the VC plugin please contact our support forum at http://createit.support/ with details how to access your website so we could check this? Our team will gladly help you there.

When you are updating the theme you shouldn’t be adding or removing any plugins becasue that can create unexpected issues on the site also before theme update we highly recommend that you back up your current site.

The performance of the theme can be slow down by the ammount of images used on the site or server perfomance. We tested the demo and we weren’t able to recreate the performance problem in the latest version of the theme.

Thanks, createIT
