I need some support. I have installed foot 2.0 and made a lot of changes but unfortunately not on a child theme. Now I have some trouble updating the PHP version. Can you help me with that?

Your support has expired 6 years ago. So you’ll need to renew your support and submit a support ticket.
If all the changes (custom code) were added to the parent theme, everything would be lost, so you’ll need to duplicate everything you’ve added, and add the changes to the Child Theme.

what about link post types ?...have that option?

1. As for your question, as you can see from the demo/s, the theme doesn’t have that option.
2. The theme has the option to add buttons via the homepage posts with an external link as per the demo/s, that can be used for affiliate purposes.

For the submission form, I’m using this plugin https://wordpress.org/plugins/accesspress-anonymous-post/ from the WordPress repository. In order to add more fields, as uploads, etc, you’ll need to use the pro version or any similar plugin that fits your needs.

Hi, Can you tell if the posts in Demo would be results of user submission in production mode? and where does Admin submitted posts/articles reflect?

Followup, the front page and search and etc shows all articles, aka default post type. If you made a custom post type and used ACF, could you set the front page and search to show only that set custom post type instead, and have the blog posts be for different news/site-info page?
Or is that all hardcoded to only show the default post type? Thank you/
The index.php file is used to display your latest posts / categories / tags / authors / and search.
You’ll need to duplicate one of the homepage templates to display your custom post type and will use the same style as per demo. As for the search, it will display your posts and your custom post type on the same page.

Hi there, Great work! Do you know if this theme is fully compatible with Formidable Forms?
I have existing theme that has problem with formidable forms when click into a form field the existing content in the field disappears – so I need to change themes and and looking at your Foot theme.
If I purchase and same problem occurs with Formidable Forms can you refund the purchase?
Or can you test with Formidable Forms if not tested already?

I haven’t tested the plugin, but if it works with the default WordPress theme, it will work with my theme too, with the default plugin style.

Oh thankyou Lilian, great that would be excellent. I don’t think it’s a big issue but my current theme designer did not want to help so I would rather change themes and have better support.

Oh I have just looked at your Pin theme – and now do not know which I like better!

hi. good to see that you have been providing updates to the theme still as mostly others with such type of themes leave it after a year of so. but as of today i want to give you some suggestions which will really help the theme, buyers and you too (you will get more customers). make some watered down light weight version of the theme with some new layouts. the current one has become stale now (don’t mind). i mean the style is good but its lacking way too much now as far as design (which is overly done for todays time) and features are kind of ancient now. some major updates regarding the overall concept is needed now. just a thought. cheers!

Quite strange to see that you still using or have interest on my theme, based on your 2 stars review https://d.pr/free/i/9EwmyD more than 3 years ago, that didn’t help my theme at all, haha Anyways, thanks for the feedback, is nice to see old customers back, somehow.
As with any Premium WordPress Theme, new layouts are added when the theme has at least a few sales and this theme it doesn’t, unfortunately, but still, I do provide updates and support for all my themes, no matter how old the theme is.

And to answer to your 2 stars review, authors are adding new themes, in order to have the possibility to maintain the oldest themes that don’t have sales, this is what you’ll not understand, unless you are an author and you care about your themes and your customers, with all due respect, as always.
The top authors did the same thing, theme after theme every month until they stop to one that have major sales and improved that theme and when I said major, I said a few thousands of sales in the first 2-3 months and as a “bonus” for their old customers, they deleted the old themes, something I never done!

Can you update to the last versión of FontAwesome icons?
The last Version is the 5.6.3 and you theme still use the 4.7

Is not the case here as the theme is update every month. Honestly and with all due respect, it seems you didn’t understand the point and also don’t care at all of my old customers, so let me do my job as as know better than you want is good and bad for my themes, thank you!
The Font Awesome comes as a css file via my theme so will be there forever for my old customers ( you are one of them with support expired also ), for new ones if they want to use the new icons, they can use the plugin or the old icons as per demo, as simple as that. Re-read again the first message.
Also, if you test the new icons, you’ll see there are quite different in terms of design, different of what I advertise in the first place or what can be seen in my demo/s.
So if you want to use something that doesn’t fit with my theme in terms of the design, you are welcome to use the solution I give to you in the first message, thank you.

I’ve double checked and I haven’t received any support tickets from you at all, so you can submit a support ticket here.
1. Test it with a different theme and see if the Ads works and let me know. If you just started to use Google Adsense with your website, allow 24h or more ( it can takes a few days ) in order to display, more about that can be found via Google Adsense.
2. As for the errors, it seems that there is a conflict with Woocommerce and the tags plugin, or you don’t have tags / cats for your products / shop but you want them to be displayed. I haven’t tested the theme with WooCommerce but I do have a few customers that are using it without any issue. So please be so kind and disable WooCommerce and test it again and see if the issue persist.

Pre-sale question: If I decide to add a store to this theme, what would my available options be? Perhaps there certain plugins that you know to be already compatible with the latest version.
Also, is there a list of all the plugins the Foot theme comes packaged with? I’m wondering if there will be a conflict between my already installed Contact Form 7.
PS: Your willingness to respond to pretty much every comment on here has left me with a great impression of your work. When choosing between hundreds of different themes, that helps a lot! Thanks in advance for your help.

1. I’m sure the theme could be used with any ecommerce plugin, however, it may require some styling work as it’s not something we tested during development.
2. As can be seen from the demo/s and item description, the theme comes with “Contact Form 7”, so no need to worry about conflicts between the plugins. Any plugin that is up to date, will work with the theme. The theme comes bundled with 15 plugins and all of them are optionl so is up to you if you want to install them or not (Shortcodes, Review Plugin, kk Star Ratings, Resume Builder, Live Search, Tags, Social Count, WP-PageNavi, Instagram Widget, etc.), basically, any option that is not a default WordPress function, need to be added to plugins ( that’s because, if you want to change the theme, you’ll still be able to use the plugins ) and we are also forced by envato reviews.
3. I don’t think I ever left a comment without a reply, doesn’t make sense to do that at all.
