Purchased Item. Uploaded template successfully to MAILCHIMP. Begun editing. When exiting template editing and RE-OPENING it to continue work on it, most blocks are lost. ONLY MAIN BLOCK AND FOOTER BLOCK REMAIN inside “Edit Design” view. If I switch to “Edit Code” the blocks reappear BUT the edits I executed while on “Edit Design” are gone (Logos, text, images) – Only the color changes remain.

About your case. Found such case many times & seems that’s how MailChimp works with custom template, by default.
So it’s recommended to edit the content in a “campaign builder” mode instead of in the template editor mode.
Those blocks are not actually gone, once you’re in the compose message / campaign builder mode you still have that all blocks available.
