Documentation is outdated (covers to v3.x but current version is 5.x) and doesn't cover some of the new features. Various things are bugged or don't work (blog view, "Read More" goes only to front page, etc.). The Top-Notch support that is advertised is non-existent despite submitting several tickets regarding issues related to the theme. No reply to tickets submitted over 5 days ago and now the support site is up and down.
My main and ONLY reason of five stars is for the excellent design indeed (which perfectly suits my needs of gaming magazine), as communication and customer service were both extremely irritating and crap in the past. (So bad, in fact, that I stopped paying for extended customer service, as I never got any meaningful answer, yet alone anything else than snappy, irritated and irritating answers from the guy in charge. The guy, in fact, told me, that he will stop helping me in the future.)
There was some issue of Troyan (false positive, it seems, maybe, we'll never know) shown in Virustotal, which is solved now and the theme is completely clean now - Troyan or false positive) so I am giving five stars ONLY FOR THE DESIGN of theme.
It's not a bad theme but not very flexible and it has a few awkward issues. For example, the blog style setting forces you to always use featured images (even if you set it to not show) which looks sloppy, but even if you do use featured images the text alignment around it also looks sloppy.
Likewise, things like homepage widget blocks not working in blog style are little annoyances. If you need a magazine style game site this theme is fairly priced and not too bad, just don't expect flexibility or multi-purpose use unless your needs are simple or you know a little bit about web coding like I do.
The developer does warn that the demo was made using magazine mode I guess, so make sure whatever you want is very close to the demo otherwise good luck.
