The ‘Generik’ theme is anything but generic. The theme provides so much flexibility. It will spoil you for choice with the features and settings. The documentation will get you up to speed, and if you have questions, that’s covered by the developer too.

It was a steep learning curve. While I am familiar with HTML and CSS, the world of WordPress is new to me. However, the developer has organised the HTML, PHP and CSS well.

Those who do not dabble with code still have great flexibility. Customisation is achieved mainly via WordPress GUI, as well as Elementor. And you do not need to subscribe to other services or plugins. For example, Elementor and Smash Balloon’s Instagram feed work with the basic license.

The developer also provided me with first class support. He responded with speed, patience and precision and always had a solution, and even responded both at the weekend and evening.

I set the main reason for the rating to ‘Other’, because there was not an option for ‘everything’. The code quality, the design quality, the customisation, the support etc. Everything! It is a remarkable piece of development and a fantastic customer centric service.
