Great work, congrats.
Looks wonderful, wish you the best with sales!
Good luck to you too!
Nice work. Good luck
Good work! Congrats!
Great work! Good luck mate
Thank you very much!
Beautiful work guys. Congrats on the theme!
Thanks, we tried to make it as beautiful as possible
nice, has some great potential…
i do wish theme authors would consider adding optional support for portrait photos in their events… i mean look at all the flyers on graphicriver, flyerheroes etc… they are all portrait mode, not landscape, not square…
i think it would be great if we didn’t have to redesign the flyer to fit into a square or horizontal design layout…
good luck on sales… bookmarked
Thank you for your idea! I will let you know when this update will be done.
Great Job! GLWS
For me the preview is not working ?!
The preview is not working for me too…
oh, it’s working now! Nice theme! Congrats!
Hi, is it possible for you to tell me what fonts you used for the logo? Love the theme by the way.
This logo is custom made, font is not packed in theme. Here you can find similar fonts: http://www.webtype.com/font/alright-sans-family
Alright Sans Black, Alright Sans Ultra
What is it possible to edit in the homepage please?
What does the homepage editor look like please? Shortcode? Visual composer? Widget?
Thanks for your answer
It is possible to:
a) edit widgets: “Hottest Party This Month”, “right menu”(right now you can see: navigation, archive, video), and there is third widget area under the Events list;
b) you can change number of “Upcoming Events” or replace it with Posts from other Category;
c) “Services” is posible to edit from Appearance/Theme Options panel.
d) If you will edit header, footer options or widgets, then it will apply changes to internal pages too.
Loving your new template. very nice work. Working on a site for a client but having a problem or two
On your template demo the components page lists it’s subpages automatically. However, as soon as I make an edit to the components page, the list of subpages dissappears and I’m not sure how that code is generated.
i.e. When I open the “Components” page and make an edit (be it title, content or even if I don’t make a change at all, none of the subpages are displayed. The only way I have been able to get functionality back is by re-importing all the demo content. Am I missing something?
I’m trying to recreate the functionality with my own content but up to now I have been unable to do it.
Any help would be most appreciated
1) Appearance/Menus/EditMenus Select menu to edit: main_nav. Use this to add new sections or subsections to menu.
2) Pages/AddNew. Fill in Title, text and select Parent:Components. Save. Now you should see your new Page in the Components list.
Thanks very much for your swift reply. Is it possible to edit “Components” to something else without losing functionality? I opened the components page and saved it without any changes and the list disappeared. Not sure why.
I will include this in next update.
Go to Appearance/Editor/ Select theme to edit: Glamour Nightclub. Select.
Click on “page-list.php” and update line 3 to look like this:
Template Name: Page List Template
Thanks. I will give that a go and let you know how it goes.
Thanks Vacis – That seemed to work a treat.
Version 1.1 - Updated: 02.03.2014
+ Fixed Page template issues
Hello again Vacis, unfortunately I am having another problem.
I’m trying to use the homepage slider to display posts from the blog category rather than the events category. It allows me to change it in the header options but it will not display any other category other than events. Is there anything in particular I should be looking for? I’ve created 5 posts under the blog category but they aren’t being displayed.
Thanks in advance
Make sure your Post have filled in values: Event date(must be today or date from the future), Banner.
Sorry, I just came back (thought I’d already replied. That worked perfectly. Thanks again
I am working on this theme for a client (if necessary I will ask him to post the question, just let me know).
I have used the demo-content file and after the import the menu from the main page won’t change. I mean I have deleted the dummy pages and created a new menu, I have set it up as “The Main Menu” but I still get the old menu from the demo-content. When changing your theme with another one, the correct menu appears.
What am I missing?
For the Main menu use name “main_nav” and for the Mobile devices use: “mobile_nav”.
In the documentation you will find printscreens and more details: “4. Creating Menu”.
Yes, everything worked smoothly until I inserted the dummy pages. Now I have this menu: folieslibertines.com although I set up my menu again (with the pages that I need to be there and I deleted the dummy pages).
I resolved the problem by completely reinstalling Wordpress…
Second problem: I would like to use a page as the home page. When I select it, it looks like a summary-blog-post: http://folieslibertines.com and not as a full-width, full-text page. How can I obtain what I need?
2.2.1. Static Front Page
By default when you open yourdomain.com you see default blogroll. Glamour Nightclub theme use static template for homepage.
Go to Appearance -> Customize. Then at the “Static Front Page” section select Front page displays:”A static page”. Click button: “Save & Publish”. Click: “Close”.
Well, yes, of course, but as I said, that is not my problem.
“When I select it, it looks like a summary-blog-post: http://folieslibertines.com and not as a full-width, full-text page. How can I obtain what I need?”
Any news on this?
Tell your client to go to: Appearance -> Customize and change “Static Front Page”, because by debault front page dispays default blogroll.
Thank you, BUT you already gave this advice and I already said it didn’t help (it was already set up this way).
I managed to find the answer, though.
Hello, after I installed the theme I can’t load the template pages. When I create a new page , the pages doesn’t appear in the box where you can decide wich page you wish to use.
Go to Appearance/Editor/ Select theme to edit: Glamour Nightclub. Select. Click on “page-list.php” and update line 3 to look like this:
Repeat this for page: page-3column.php
Template Name: 3 Column Page Template
Repeat this for page: page-left-sidebar.php
Template Name: Left Sidebar Page Template
