Perhaps you’re new to WordPress: We remind you that a theme affects the presentation and visual style of your site, while plugins add all kinds of features and functionalities.
In consequence, a theme has nothing to do with the emails send from you’re website. All emails are managed either by WordPress or plugins. In you’re case, BuddyPress plugin.

Hi there- I’m looking for more of a text based social network Wordpress theme, and yours looks nice, but I have a couple questions. 1) How are community posts generated? I did not see any front end place in your demo where a user could publish an article/post. I would not want users accessing the Wordpress admin area. How is this working in your demo? 2) The community posts do not appear to have any link to the profile of the same user, nor are the posts by an author listed anywhere in the profile under media. Is there an easy way to address this? Thanks!!

This premium plugin allows your members to create and manage their own posts from their BuddyPress profile. They can set the title, content, categories, tags, featured image and more. As an administrator, you have control over which fields your members are allowed to fill and whether or not posts have to be reviewed by an admin before being made public.
If you want to build a community site and give your users the opportunity to blog, this plugin is exactly what you need. - It is indeed possible to displau authors on the article, so the user can click on their username and see all the posts published bu this specific authors. There is an option to display/hide the authors’ name.

Do you happen to have a Gorgo demo where this plugin is in use? In your demo, every user appears to have 2 profiles, a Wordpress one (author/ralph) and a BuddyPress one (members/ralph), but all of the posts are linked to the Wordpress profile, therefore no articles are listed under the users BuddyPress profile.
I’m just trying to figure out how this theme would look and function using that plugin. I want to allow users to publish posts, but I don’t really like the fact of a user having two separately functioning profiles, so I’m hoping to just use one for everything, if possible.
I made a similar mistake with a previous theme purchase without noticing the dual profile situation with BP sites, so I’m trying to make sure I know what I’m getting myself into before any future purchase.

And just to follow up…I wasn’t trying to put you on the spot about how your theme functions with the plugin you recommended. I’m just trying to understand how this theme will look/function because I’d prefer to avoid each user having two profiles.

Indeed, the plugin used in our demo doesn’t synchronise with the BuddyPress profile. Be sure that is the case with BuddyPress User Blog. This plugin will add a “Blog” tab on the user’s profile. We don’t have a demo with this plugin at the moment, but we’ll add this to our to do list and we’ll replace the current plugin on our Gorgo demos.
This plugin will inherit of the Gorgo style. Be sure that in case you have a style issue, we’ll help you solve this so the general appearance of the plugin will be integrated correctly with Gorgo Style.

Please note that this issue has nothing to do with our theme. The verification emails are managed by BuddyPress plugin. The issue has to do with how BuddyPress sends these emails.

if i can give you a little hint. i was looking for a buddypress theme the past 2 days! although there are only 40 actives themes i always jumped over yours because the thumb didnt really catch me. after two days i went through all again, giving them a last chance and see there the one i let out all the time was exactly what i needed. maybe you change your listing thumb? its an awesome theme.

Hi, I’m looking for a theme/plugin that allows me to create a user fueled content and also could be integrated with woocommerce so users can sell those products they made available. A copycat of Discogs, but for other collectibles. Reading the theme description, it seems it could be possible with some tweaking. I’ll be glad to hear what you think.

Our theme is compatible with WooCommerce plugin, which allows you to create an e-commerce. However, only admins are able to post new products. To allow your users to add theirs, you’ll need to add a third party plugin.
Our theme is compatible with WC Vendors Marketplace and WC Vendors Pro. Thanks to this plugin, your users will be able to create their own selling space, sell goods and charge money.
Maybe these plugins might help you to create a similar feature:Note that none of these plugins have been tested with our theme. they might require some extra CSS to make them fit perfectly. However, all should work fine.

It seems like the demo theme setup is working somedays but it is not stable. At the moment, It is not working. Can you confirm?

Please note that no plugin is included when buying the theme. However, the theme setup offers the possibility to install all free plugins used in our demo in order to get the same result. If you want to use a premium plugin illustrated in our demo, you gave to buy it separately and install it. Then, be sure you’ll have the same style as our demo.
That being said, when installing Gorgo and running the theme setup, another plugin will be installed: Social Articles. These plugins serve a similar purpose, but I suggest you to deactivate Social Articles plugin and install BuddyPress User Blog manually that I recommended you. I think it will better suit your needs.

I’m wondering if another theme of ours might not be better suited for you: Stego. It is a theme dedicated to selling food. Your choice will depend of which style you like as all of our theme can accomplish the same features with the right plugins. They all have the same core.

We remind you that a theme affects the presentation and visual style of your site, while plugins add all kinds of features and functionalities. In case you need to create a custom plugin, you might need as well to add some custom CSS to make sure your new features match to the theme style.
