Hi – Bought this theme a few years ago and it’s all up to date. However, if I change to php from anything other than 5.6, I get website errors when logging in (The site is experiencing technical difficulties. Please check your site admin email inbox for instructions) – is there anything you might suggest?

Tried to automatically update from the previous version to 4.0 and it destroyed all my settings and slider. Fortunately I backed up before. How come?

Today’s events never show up. Never have and apparently our support is no longer available.
Check your event settings under Events > Settings > General. If you scroll to the bottom you will see options for displaying active events, expired events, and more. You can adjust these as needed to display ongoing events (today’s events) and so on.

The Revolution Slider on our site is broken (will not render) because the plugin is unable to load the Vimeo api. We are on the latest version of WordPress (4.9.8), have latest version of the Growler Brewery theme installed (3.9), and our Slider Revolution plugin is up-to-date (5.4.8). Are you working on a patch for this? Please advise and thanks so much!

I have purchaed this theme, but when I try to use the support system it requires me to match my purchase code with a theme which is not listed. I can not submit a support ticket. Please help.
Sorry you are having trouble logging into the support forum. You can login two ways.
Option 1) Use the green “Login with Envato” button. This will automatically register with your ThemeForest login credentials.

I have logged in and have my purchase code. But I am asked to select a product and provide my purchase code. The theme I purchased “growler-brewery-wordpress-theme” is not on the list of products. If I choose a different one and provide my purchase code I am not allowed to submit the ticket.
Is there a way submit a ticket without selecting a product? Should I just submit my ticket here in the comments?

Can featured beers link to an individual page for each beer? Can each individual beer on the beers page link to an individual page for each beer?

Yeah, we have support built-in for what you are asking. You can have beer pages for individual beers. This would allow the index of beers list to link to a page with more information about each beer.

Hey there, couple questions:
1. I saw where you can add a link instead of the light box for beers but I can’t figure out how to do this. I would like to just have it link to the URL of the beer item where I can include tasting notes and pairing suggestions.
2. Is it possible to install a secondary menu? For example, in addition to the dropdown on a specific page visitors would see “tabs” or “links” in a menu format horizontally across the top of the screen.

Hi,
Everything was working as expected until activating WooCommerce 2.6.x (which is listed as compatible with this theme). Upon activating WooCommerce, the Revolution Slider is now broken (sliders will not render) and the revolution slider interface is now showing the following fatal error:
Fatal error: Call to a member function get_price_html() on boolean in /home/rawspiri/public_html/wp-content/plugins/revslider/includes/slide.class.php on line 1314
We are on the latest version of WordPress (4.7.2) and there are no 3rd party plugins other than WooCommerce and those packaged with this theme that would be causing the issue. Is there a patch or a plugin update that needs to be manually applied? Please advise and thanks!

Hi, I like the theme but again like some other users, I’m needed an easily edited food menu. Suggestions?
Yeah, you can use the Beers layout to easily display food items. You can create as many or as few beers page layouts as you need. They don’t need to be beer related but can be food items. Alternatively you can easily add menu items via free plugins from wordpress.org like: https://wordpress.org/plugins/food-and-drink-menu/ (There are many others)

Hi, I’m just wondering to what extent are the colours customisable. Ie. can the following colours be changed: - drop down menu colour - ‘view of our beers,’ ‘visit our taproom,’... buttons on the slider - background colours. Cheers!

Also, yeah the buttons and slider can be adjusted easily.
The flickr section can easily be replaced by instagram. To do so you would just need to install a plugin. Our recommended instagram plugin is: https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-instagram-widget/ It only takes a few minutes to install and setup.

Hi, I would like to make the page title background image to display more in height.

Yeah, you can easily modify that with css. That are is controlled via this setting: #page-title { padding:50px 0px 50px 0px; }. So if you wanted to increase the height, you would add more padding. 1. Yeah, any page can easily have a sidebar. The homepage does support a sidebar as well.
2. Yes, the events have optional categories and can display based on category.
3. Yes, you can easily adjust the event image dimensions. This would be done via WordPress, not CSS.
