I’m trying to use the background link css property selector within WordPress for the image appear on it’s page http://launique.co.uk/services-float/

First I used the default image link and entered the link to the default image, which I had uploaded to the media library:

`background: url(http://launique.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2016/07/fold.gif) no-repeat 0 0;`

That didn’t work.

Then after some research, I created a separate “images” folder within the child themes folder in my cpanel.

`background: url(images/fold.gif) no-repeat 0 0;`

But still to no avail…

This is the whole line of code:

`.page-services h1::after { content: ’’; display: block; height: 40px; width: 40px; background: url(images/fold.gif) no-repeat 0 0; }`

Hi, this is CD-Network! I bought the Hairpress Theme, downloaded it and installed it. There is no demo-content and demo-widgets to download, therefore the theme is missing a lot of adjustments, such as team members, and a lot of other things. Please responde, thks.

Thanks, first thing I will look up in future, if the desired Theme is out of support or not. Also changing the stlye.css is for me impossible. Anyway. I know what to do in future.

Hi, You can add custom CSS in the Appearance -> Theme Options -> General. In that case you will not lose your CSS with updates.

Removing support and failing to issue updates is a poor standard of service in our opinion. Any website built using this theme will become deprecated and prone to problems. You should certainly stop selling the Theme if you will not support it. We bought this theme for a client over a year ago and now the client is left with a vulnerable website, and we are left with an unhappy client who no doubt blame us when things begin to go wrong with the website.

There are no vulnerabilities in the theme or if they are, we are still fixing them (and provide all the compatibility fixes). If that wouldn’t be the case, we won’t be selling it. Hi. How to I remove the “add to cart” on the catalog page? You seem to have put all woocommerce buttons into one class meaning if I hide “add to cart” then all the woocommerce buttons disappear (including checkout etc).

We have installed gift vouchers which require data entering (name of recipient etc). But by having the add to cart buttons in catalog view, they can avoid the single product page meaning they bypass having to enter the important data.

Just a heads-up for anyone else installing the demo – the documentation looks to be out of date.

The docs say import ‘extras/demo-content.xml’ it’s actually ‘extras/hairpress-latest.xml’ you need.

With the widgets, after installing the ‘Widget Importer & Exporter’ plugin as per the docs, you may be stumped – the plugin needs a ’.wie’ file to import, but the theme doesn’t provide one of these.

Instead, in the same extras folder as the demo content, there’s a ‘hairpress.json’ file. Just change the file extension so it becomes ‘hairpress.wie’. Then import this via the widget plugin and you’re all set.
