Great flexible and robust theme. Lots of configurable features, very good fit for tech sites. Tons of layouts, menu and compartment choices. Support is outstanding! Very responsive, diligent and dedicated. Tirelessly worked with me to finally track down an issue and correct it, even though I may have had a hand in the problem. Love these themes and the people behind the scenes even more!
I adore Mikado. I've bought 3 themes of him. They are all of top-notch design quality and having unique designs. Mikado deserves 5 stars because we all should appreciate the people who make the web look more beautiful. There are so many ugly themes around, and thanks to Mikado, the life becomes more beautiful. Moreover, Mikado's service deserves a 5-star plus as well.

While this is a very good looking theme, there is a deal-breaking bug front and center within the theme's customization options.
The options under Mikado Options > General simply do not work/save. The theme's documentation mentions setting 755 permissions on the theme's assets directory in order for these options to save correctly. But they simply do not. Even with 777 permissions on the entire assets folder, these options don't change. Even if this did work, which it does not, this is poor design and implementation, and a potential security risk.
The worst part of this is that this issue has been brought to the developer's attention multiple times in their public support forum. Their end solution seems to be "contact your host company" or "provide us with your FTP and wp-admin log-in info". No thanks.

Assets folder and files permissions should be set to 755 and if that is not helpful in your case, our developers could take a closer look on your server.
