Hello,
I’m having an issue with the Haute theme and it’s integration with Cart66.
When user is on checkout page and clicks ‘checkout’ the page reloads and empties the cart so user can’t check out.

Using a plugin, you could add ads to the sidebar on every page of the website. There are 3 widgetized sidebars. However, there is no dedicated ad space anywhere else on the theme.

Also, is it possible to have the product names displayed under each image on category pages etc?
You’d need to customize the theme to do that. You could add <?php the_title(); ?> to loop-gridproduct.php and it’ll show up, though it may need to be styled a bit.

I would like to create an affiliate store with this theme. For product URLs, can they simply be www.mywebsite.com/my-wonderful-product/ or do they have to have a subdirectory like www.mywebsite.com/product/my-wonderful-product/?
This is the case with ecommerce plugins like woocommerce but I wouldn’t be using an ecommerce plugin in this case.
I’d like to know as I’d be converting an existing site to this theme and would ideally like to keep the same URL structure.

The affiliate products use a custom post type named products. You’d have to get a plugin to remove that. I found this one, though I haven’t tested it: https://wordpress.org/plugins/remove-slug-from-custom-post-type/

Yeah, that’s in the plugin. I assume they’re aware of it, but I’ll shoot them an email to confirm.
Just to follow up for anyone else reading this, @back_east had an old version of the theme on his site. We updated to the current version and all the issues have been cleared up.

Hello!
I have an “Affiliate Mode” built into the theme so that the buttons will simply link to wherever you need to link them. There’s no cart or anything for that.
If you don’t fill in the options (text fields in the backend) for the Login and Cart links, they simply won’t show up.
There’s not an option for text on the home page, you’ll need to edit front-page.php if you’d like to do that.
The image placement is either left (as you see now) or right (basically a mirror of what you see now).
Cart66 is not included with the theme. That’s a separate download.
The theme is responsive. For the demo, you need to remove the Demo Bar on top. Going directly here http://themes.designcrumbs.com/haute/ will also work.

I’ll put it in my notes to put in space for text, but right now I don’t have any pressing issues or updates coming out for the theme so I won’t have an ETA on getting that done. But, it’s noted!
Hello, I’m very new to wordpress. I saw that, “Use, by you or one client, in a single end product which end users are not charged for. The total price includes the item price and a buyer fee. ” What do you mean by end users? Like people can’t buy using this site, because we don’t have extended full license?

That’s all Envato’s language. It’s a roundabout way of saying that you can’t resell the theme itself.
Under that you’ll see “This item is licensed 100% GPL.” All of my themes are 100% GPL. The short of that is that I allow you to do whatever you want with the theme just so long as the copyright stays intact. So with that, you could resell it if you wanted, though it wouldn’t be very nice of you.

You’re trying to install the wrong file. Open that and inside will be all of the files you need.
Thanks. It worked, but now I’m tryint to create a designcrumbs acct for support and getting this “No valid purchase codes where found.” I have the correct purchase code from the txt file. I have two questions: 1) How do I create a Submenu dropdown under a menu exp Shop>Men & Shop>Women. and 2) when mousing over Store it jumps down to the next line. Super frustrating!!! Are you using the same username and email address as you’re using here at ThemeForest? The support site checks the purchase code against those two items.
And it sounds like you haven’t made a custom menu. You can do that under Appearance > Menus. That will fix the jumping issue you’re having, and in there you can create the drop downs. The Menus section in the help file included with the download explains that in a bit more detail.

One more question. When I click on “Older Entries” instead of saying the name of the category at the top of the page it says “Blog Archives” Any way to change that?

Also I read somewhere but now can’t remember where, what size should the logo be in order to appear crisp on pc and mobile but not too large? I tried putting a logo in place of the title text and refreshed and it was the size of my screen. But I thought I remembered you saying somewhere that it should be larger in order to appear clean and crisp. Thought it would auto resize but didn’t. Thanks for help!
Ah, I see that Blog Archive thing… It’s a bug. I’ll put it on my list to fix.
The logo can be any size, I recommend 80px tall for retina.

Hi I need help, I don’t know if you can help me, I have everything set up everything is working except the sales tax are not add to the PayPal page before I pay? And I setup tax in my PayPal account and the tax are showing on cart66 but not charge by paypal. I call paypal but they said it’s a problem with WordPress. And Cart66 said it’s a Paypal problem???? Idon’t know what to do, do you have an idea? Thanks
Dang. Unfortunately, I don’t have an answer for you either… The theme simply styles the output of things, it doesn’t actually have any of the cart functionality in it. So I’m afraid this is over my head. I think you’ll have to work it out with Cart66 and PayPal.

I found a solution, instead of using paypal express checkout, I deleted API infos from cart66 Pro and use Paypal checkout, now it work perfecly. Yeah ! The support at cart66 and Paypal is not helpful at all. By the way ,thank for your so beautiful and simple to use theme

You can do so via CSS. I’d recommend doing this through a child theme.

Cart66 Pro and Cloud accept different forms of payment; The theme simply styles the plugin, so you’ll need the plugin as well. The free version of Cart66 (Cart66 Lite) only accepts PayPal.

I’m guessing you want to export the product list with the price and all that, right? That’s part of the Cart66 plugin, not part of the theme. You’ll need to contact them http://cart66.com for assistance.

You need to add in the link to your Cart page under Appearance > Theme Options > Store Settings.

And the actual subcatagories in the demo are Product Types and Product Tags. If they don’t show up on your Appearance > Menu page, you may need to enable them under the screen options tab on the top right.
If I was to purchase the theme, is it possible to add 12 images instead of the 10 on the demo mode? And instead of 5×2 can I do 3×4?

You can put as many as you want on the page (and archives) but you can’t change them from 5 per line unless you rewrite the CSS.
Also, I’m finishing up another theme for Cart66 Cloud that will be available early next week.

Bought this theme several months ago. Have already stated that I am pleased with the theme but I will reiterate that this is a theme worth buying. My question is whether it is possible to create a page called gallery, where I can put 10 photos (5 on top of 5) on the page to showcase some of our products? Do you need to do some specific coding or is it just not possible?

Hi, I’m searching for cart66 theme and come across this theme. I always wanted to ask, cart66 is wordpress based, so basically any theme should fit, what is the different between this cart66 theme and other wordpress theme? Pls provide some real example

You’re correct. The difference is that this theme designs all of the elements that Cart66 puts onto your site so everything looks cohesive.
The product page has a specific area for the Cart info and the product images whereas a non-cart66 theme would display them just like a normal page or blog post.
This theme also has a cart link with a product counter in the header.
This theme displays products on the home page, has a dedicated store page, and dedicated archive pages for products. Any other theme only has standard posts and pages.
Is this theme compatible with Woocommerce? Or has that never been tried out before?
