which available I downloaded template is ver 1.5.3.(on update.txt)
Hello you too
It seems we didn’t update the text file, however, the download is latest version (1.7)
Ok I’m lost – where is the code to delete for the “Style Switcher” on the left?
Nevermind – found it

Hi, does this support a slider with video backgrounds?
Hello and thanks for your interest in our work!
Yes, Revolution Slider allow use of videos backgrounds.
Do you happen to have any examples of using it in the header (instead of the self-hosted video example)?
Thanks a lot for choosing one of our files!
Sorry we don’t have more example than what’s in the demo and the RS documentation.
Support for all our templates is conducted through our support forums, if you’d like to start a new thread over there either myself or another member of the support team can take a look at your project.

Support team did not respond to my e-mail. Having trouble with registering the forum so that I can ask a question…

Yep it was in spam folder. Thanks a lot!
Hideo – v1.4 version is not compatible with the Safari browser , chrome ???? please help
Hideo is compatible with Safari and Chrome.
If you have any issue using the template, please register to our support forum, providing more detail about your problem and url of your project.
What am I doing wrong? When I open up any one of the html files in the file directory the nav system does not work – no pull downs.
Please make sure you removed the color switcher script at the top of js/custom.js file, where it says:
/* COLORS TO BE ERASED WHEN INSTALLING THE THEME */
If you have any issue, please open a ticket on our support forum, providing more detail about your problem and url of your project.
Thanks, That did it!
Was that in the documentation somewhere that I missed? What was the purpose of having that in the js file if it needs to be removed before using the templates?
We use this code for the color switcher in the demo. It should have been removed from the package, but it seems it was still there in the last update.
Thanxs for your feedback.
I really starting to like this template.
Question: In the masonry portfolio when you click on the zoom button for a particular image and the image gets bigger and the background gets whited out, is there any way to have a mini slide show there (maybe with captions)?
I design and build custom homes. I think this masonry portfolio would be perfect for displaying various designs. The tabs on the top (where you have women, cats and Graphics) would be the various sizes of the homes (3,000 to 4,000 sf, 4,000 to 5,000 sf, 5,000 to 6,000 sf, etc). When someone selects a picture (front elevation) and clicks on it they see the front elevation full size. You already have this. But it would be nice if you can click on the pic (or forward and backward arrows on the pic) and it cycles through the elevation, first floor plan and second floor plan and or more related pics.
You can use a gallery, as seen on the 4th item on http://hideo-html5-css3-bootstrap-website-template.little-neko.com/files/portfolio-masonery.html

Perfect, I didn’t see that one.
Any way of putting captions on each pic?
Is there a way to have the image in the dropdown mega menu change as you hover over the different sub menu items?
How do I vertically center an 80 pixel high logo at the top header? If I change my logo size to the same height as yours there is too much white space above and below and my logo looses too much detail at that size.
The documentation was not clear on this: On the Revolution Slider, how do I remove the controls (right, left arrow, thumb dots, and mouse-over pause)? I’m using this on my opening page and don’t want this to look like a slide show viewer. I’m sure there are overrides without going into the js file. Thanks.
Please make sure to post url of your website, thanks.
I have the same problem. Can you explain the meaning of:
“You should always set the target of the first level element to its first child, or no link at all.”
I don’t get it. I need to fix that problem. In which file do I solve that issue?
Thx so far!
It was about that Problem:
I found a problem with the responsive navigation menu. In responsive mode, the parent pages (the one who has sub-pages) are not clickable, only the sub-pages. That may be a big problem since users won’t be able to go to certain pages when viewing the site on mobile devices. I tested it on iPhone 5 and android smart phones.
Maybe think mobile first. You have a menu item that toggle a submenu. As there’s no hover event on a mobile device, a touch event is necessary. Therefore, any link on the first level menu is inactive on mobile, so it’s possible to toggle the submenu. On desktop, submenu is toggled on hover event. If you put a link on the parent menu, then, best is to use the first child link of that menu.
See in the demo, the home button toggle submenu on mobile, and link to the first page of the section (default) on desktop.
I have Hideo and using it for my e-commerce site and it works well. Do you have a WordPress theme plugin based on Hideo? I have a WordPress site that could use a Theme overhaul.
Hello and thanks for using one of our file (though I don’t see any buyer’s badge on your profile… ).
We don’t have any multipurpose WP available yet. We’re working on Edena at this time, Hideo should come in second, but I can’t tell when, not before a few months at least.
Hello, on which blog System can i install this template?
Hideo is an HTML template (as stated in item description). Therefore it’s not related to any CMS and must be edited “by hand”.
You probably need a WordPress theme. We have a couple of WordPress theme here:
As you will see, WordPress themes are more expensive than HTML templates.
You will find a lot of WordPress themes from other authors on the marketplace too:
If you purchased our HTML template by mistake, I’d suggest you contact Envato and ask for a refund:
Ok. Thank you very much. It is an awesome template.
Thanks a lot for your kind feedback and good luck with your project!
Can you advise what div tag I need to use to embed a Youtube video into the content section of a page please, many thanks – http://www.stevesims.com
I bought HIDEO on 3/5/15. Is there an update with more features? How can I tell what version I have?
Also, what is the difference between Revolution Slider and Revolution Slider 2? Are these sliders mobile responsive and do they display the slider images on a mobile phone?
You can see what is your template version by looking at the “update.txt” provided in the package.
The update logs are available at the bottom of the item description.
Revolution Slider is mobile compatible, as you can see by checking the template demo.
Thanks for your interest in our theme.
Where is the documentation for the OWL Carousel? The main Hideo sales page shows… Owl carousel http://owlgraphic.com/owlcarousel/ but if you go to that link, it leads to some celebrity page on http://www.realtor.com
