First of all make sure you are uploading the correct file, from here you will know which file you need to upload on your WordPress to install the theme. After that, if you still get the error, please make sure your hosting server allows you to upload 8.5MB file, because the Hoststar theme file size is 8.5MB. Hello, If I locate WHMCS on a subdirectory instead of the main root, would it work? My setup is, Wordpress is on the main domain (ie: mydomain.com), and WHMCS installation is on a subdirectory (ie: mydomain.com/whmcs). What would you suggest I do to have both Wordpress and WHMCS looking the same?

It doesn’t matter where you install your WHMCS and WordPress; it can be main directory or subdirectory or subdomain. Though we recommend to install WordPress in root directory and WHMCS in a subdirectory named ‘clients’. In that way your WordPress site url will be example.com and WHMCS client area site url will be example.com/clients.

You can always perform an update of Rev Slider plugin from your wp-admin panel automatically. The documentation given with the theme will show you how to do it easily within seconds.

The plugin downloading requires purchase code verification. For security purpose we change the plugin download source time to time. When you start installing Theme bundled plugins you should find a Notification saying ‘Please verify your purchase code’. If you verify your purchase code by clicking on that link, you should get the correct Download link of The Extensions plugin.
However, alternatively you can contact the support team, and they will manually verify your purchase code themselves and provide you the direct download link of the plugin.

What you meant by ‘Chanel’ I am not sure, but I can tell you that the HostStar theme has ‘Theme-Options’ panel and a page-builder (WPBakery) to customize the content, colors, logos and sections of the theme.

Hello, very nice theme. It seems to have everything I need. Before I purchase I would like clarification on one thing please. In your video tutorial of the installation, it shows the back-end of WP Bakery, which is great. Is it still possible to edit the theme using WPBakery with the new WordPress change that is Gutenberg Blocks? If so, do I need to purchase WPBakery?

You do not need to purchase WPBakery plugin to make a site like Hostar live demo. If you want to have WPBakey plugin’s premium templates/features, only then you need to purchase the plugin. But, to make a site like our live demo you do not need any premium features of the plugin.
Yes, even with Guttenberg you can use the WPBakery page builder Backend editor. No problem at all. There is a button to switch from Guttenberg editor to Backend editor.

Hello.
I purchased your template a few years ago with a vallid license code. Today I wanted to update the template with the latest version.
However, after updating via wordpress, the website is completely gone, and I only see a white screen. No template, no layout, no content, nothing at all.
If I choose a different template from wordpress, then I see a decent website. The problem is therefore in your template.
After updating, wordpress gave an error message: “The template cannot be installed. The style.css stylesheet does not contain a valid theme header. Theme installation failed.”
