Can I make the comments on photos/images appear UNDER them rather than on top. Some of my comments are 6 lines (names of people in photos) and they block the entire image. My previous theme had the comment under the photo. Custom CSS?

Please go to “Appearance > Customize > Additional CSS” and add the following code:

article .wp-caption p.wp-caption-text { position: relative; margin-left: 0; padding: 10px; }

Background images don’t appear in slider on home page: thecork.ie – I have the latest 9 stories, each does have a featured image

Could you please send an e-mail to burnhambox@gmail.com including your WP login address, username and password to let us have a closer look?

Problems solved. No need for my WP user and pass for you. I was using JetPack to serve images from the JetPack (WP) servers. I disabled that option so that images come from my own domain. Suddenly the slider background images work again (well 90% of them)

In “4. Header > 4.9 Logo Height” I have the height of my logo image set at 310 pixels, because that is the height of the .PNG image.

However, there is still a 4 pixel vertical gap of background colour under the logo image, before the menu bar begins. (thecork.ie)

How could I remove this gap?

Hi there, please go to “Appearance > Customize > Additional CSS” and add the code below:

.site-logo-outer, .mobile-header { font-size: 0; }

hello, can I change the thumbnail size for the products page to a portrait size instead of a square?

Just replied your other comment.

The thumbnail on the sales page looks pixelated regardless of bigger image size. How can I make that look better? Thanks!

Hi there :) Thanks for asking.

Please go to “Appearance > Customize > WooCommerce > Product Images” and increase the “Thumbnail width”. (600 would be enough.)

This will fix the low quality image issue.

And you can select “Custom” or “Uncropped” options from “Thumbnail cropping” section to make your images portrait.

Please keep in mind that you’ll probably need the Regenerate Thumbnails plugin to resize your images after you changed these settings. https://wordpress.org/plugins/regenerate-thumbnails/

Hope this helps!

the slider images doesn’t stretch fullwidth just like in the demo. I already installed the regenerate thumbnails and do it all the time. i uploaded bigger images too but still doesn’t stretch like the one in the demo.

Please tell me CSS that will underline links in the BODY of a post only (i.e. I do not want to underline links in the menus)

Just replied your other comment.

Please tell me css that will make the font color of the “OLDER POSTS” link at the end of the homepage into a red colour

Just replied your other comment.

On the homepage and in each category there is displayed a list of the latest posts. There is a “read more” button, which is excelllent. Question: There is also a list of the categories that a given post belongs to. Currently that is in white colour (but my background is white). I want to make that font into red colour.

I cannot change this globally because it will upset other pages. Can you tell me CSS to make this font red please.

Hi again, truly sorry for late reply.

This kind of further customization requests are beyond our support limits. If you wish, you can hire a freelancer from Envato Studio to handle this kind of stuff: https://studio.envato.com/explore/wordpress?&sort=relevance&page=1

Thanks for your understanding!

Kind regards
