About license, you can use 1 regular license on 1 site domain and include a subdomain. Also, you can migrate your theme license to another domain.

About theme updates, you will get a lifetime theme update.

We have included the WPBakery plugin. Also, we include several premium plugins in JNews.

Updates to a newer version breaks the website. I am unable to install Essentials, VP Bakery and some others. It shows that the installation was successful but later in the Jnews panel with plugins, I see it again as an item that requires activation. It is possible from the WP plugin list though but not through the dedicated Jnews panel. Every time I try to do this from the Jnews panel, it causes, for example, Essential to appear in the WP plugin list several times – depending on the number of my attempts. I had to do a backup and go back to the previous working version (10.0.9). When are you going to fix it? I’ve noticed this problem since the version where you changed the look of the Jnews tab where you can manage the plugins. I have never had such problems with this theme before! Is there any solution? I can see more people having the same problem.

Hello, my license was deactivated since I changed my domain name to my website. Your authentication with Envato is not working. I cannot issue a support ticket on your forums since my license is now inactive. I am reaching out here, or I will be forced to contact Envato if this cannot be resolved.

How can I manually activate my license with my license key in Wordpress?

You can only use 1 license to activate theme in a domain at a time.

I have uploaded the new version of jnews. When I’m trying to update the plugins using the JNEWS new dashboard it gives the message of “Network error”.

Still it seems the update is done using the wordpress plugin section.

The same happens when I try to install any of the available Jnews plugins.

Horrible installation… One of my clients purchased this item and wanted me to install it for them and prepare everything. Even though he forwarded me his license and everything to do the job on his site, I’m not able to do it at the moment due to the restrictions that were made and there’s literally no way of contacting for me…

Your theme is not usable for any external provider (e.g. freelancers/agencies) which get the license code provided by a client who purchased the theme.

As you described here (https://support.jegtheme.com/documentation/activate-license/), only the user who is connected with Envato can activate it. This makes it UNUSABLE for any external developer who should work for the client and wants to activate it locally.

Connected to this, there is NO WAY OF CONTACTING due to the restrictions on your website, which again, are dependent on the Envato user instead of the license code itself. These restrictions are awful and hinder work.

Why isn’t there any field to just enter the license code, so people can work locally, prepare everything and switch later after the upload when the site goes live by removing the connected domain and adding the new one on your website?

Yes, currently the license system will not be functional without the Envato account access.
