How to find your purchase code – http://www.swiftideas.com/how-to-find-your-purchase-code/
Hey there! I am a proud customer of yours and have had no problems with your products in the past but suddenly the website I build using your theme is acting very peculiar.
The website in question is: http://www.chefdev.ca. I don’t know if it has to do with an update but all of a sudden the pages below the slider aren’t appearing as they should, or at all, and there appears to be a massive white space covering where the recent posts should be. This appears on most of the pages though when viewed through the ‘Pages’ section on WP it appears to look just fine with the Swift Page Builder.
The page has been fine for well over a year with no editing done on it so I have no idea how it could just happen. Any idea what could be causing this? If you could just take a few seconds to visit the URL. Thanks.
In fact the entire website is a mess. Most of the pages aren’t loading at all but rather a gray space occupies the whole page. The logo in the header disappears once you scroll down as well. Really don’t understand how anything changed since I haven’t logged in or edited anything in quite sometime.
It appears my support ticket has expired but I would appreciate some sort of reply to point me in the right direction. I’ve updated all plugins and the theme itself but no luck.
The theme version you are using is very outdated – please update to the latest version, which is compatible with the latest WordPress.
If you don’t have an update available within your WordPress dashboard, then please check this – http://www.swiftideas.com/knowledgebase/how-to-manually-update-your-theme/
Hope that helps.
Thank you for the prompt reply. I went ahead and updates the theme through the WP dashboard as well as upgrading to the latest WP and still see no changes across the website. None of the content built with the Swift Page Builders are appearing anywhere on the site.
Not sure what happened but it appears things are working at the moment! Thanks again for the support.
Glad it’s all working, happy to help.
Hi! I’ve a problem with the share button in blog posts. It’s not working and I can’t find the problem. The url is https://futuros-estudiantes.dc.uba.ar/novedades/
With the latest theme + swift framework plugin updates, we made advancements into speed/performance and row functionality, and preparations for making our page builder a standalone plugin.
You may experience some issues with your site due to these updates, and we wanted to let you know that we’re awaiting any issues on our support site, and will treat these with priority, so please log them as soon as you can.
Hello Swift Ideas,
When will the new update be available on Themeforest? I prefer using manual updating for our website.
We are investigating a few issues, and then we will provide the themeforest update.
Where do I download the new version of October? The version available on Envato is still the old.
We will be updating the version on ThemeForest this week – just working out a few technical issues.
I updated to the latest Swift Framework and the Joyn version, but I’m having problems with one my pages. The content inside the page builder has completely disappeared, but it still appears in the live website.
Please send us an email via http://themeforest.net/user/SwiftIdeas with a link/login to your site and we’ll take a look.
Hi Joyn Theme.
I haven’t been managing my page for a while, but I’ve noticed that post doesn’t get showed anymore.
Or in other words – they are definitely there, they are just invisible. And this is only for Chrome. It seems to work fine in Firefox.
How can this be?
Just checked and site shows fine here in Chrome, looks like you have reset it though?
Yes. I tried to reset the entire thing. I works now for some strange reason, after I reset it twice .
Great, glad you sorted it!
Hi, sorry for my question but where can I change the menu text color? I can’t find it….
You can change it in the “Color Customizer” – it’s in the top admin bar in WordPress.
But where exactly? Color header? (I think I check every color here) and still when I load other page then main the font menu is white on the white page. When I move the page the font is black so it’s ok but I need chagne the white font menu at the begining. Can you see here: http://namiotypneumatyczne.pl/galeria-2/
Color – Navigation > Menu Item Text Color.
Hi, it didn’t help…I still have white font when I didn’t move the page
Are you using the naked header option on the page?
Yes, but I had naked light – I’ve changed for dark and now it’s ok. Thanks a lot
Hello SwiftIdeas Team,
After updating the Joyn theme to the latest version I’ve got a problem – a double “Swift Framework Shortcodes” button in the WYSIWYG editor The worst thing is that instead of displaying a list of shortcodes the pop-up window shows a 404 error Here’s a short screencast: http://quick.as/aZBkFdk3b.
Unfortunately, my support terms expired already, and currently there is no way to extend it. Sorry for disturbing you, but hope you can help me to figure out how to fix this bug.
Thank you in advance!
We moved it to the Swift Framework plugin – we’ll be removing it from the Joyn theme in the next update.
I’ve been having big problems with my website www.narosalife.com. My images aren’t showing on mobile devices. I’ve been in touch with my hosting company and they managed to get the images showing on desktop devices but say it’s a mobile compatibility issue that images aren’t showing on mobile devices. The website has been working absolutely fine throughout all types of devices until a couple of weeks ago. I really hope you can help me.
Thanks in advance,
Apologies for the delay in responding. Are you still having your issue? We tested on a mobile device and it seems to show images without issue?
Let us know!
Hi it’s back online, but when I test on mobile devices it doesn’t show the logo and when I view on my Macbook it doesn’t show the social icons in the header. Any ideas?
I would assume your issues are down to the errors shown in the browser console: https://www.dropbox.com/s/v6vke93266adj28/Screenshot%202017-05-16%2017.27.29.png?dl=0
Likely due to incorrect setup in Settings > General regarding your domains.
I’ve been having problems with the website marketingnatives.at since I updated the theme Joyn to version 2.6.22 yesterday. Since then the website isn’t working on mobile Android devices, iPhones and on my Mac. However it works perfectly fine on a Windows desktop PC when I checked. Everything worked fine before.
I’m using it on Wordpress 4.5.9.
I really hope you can help me.
Thanks in advance,
All support is provided through our support system – http://www.swiftideas.com/support-request. Please log your support request there and our team will be happy to assist.
thanks for your quick reply but since I only took over the website from a former team member I don’t have any information about a purchase code in order to register. No idea how I can place a support request. :/
Unfortunately, you’ll need that information to be able to log a support request, as we need to be able to validate that the purchase is legitimate.
hi! could you explain us where we can configure the google api keys in order to solve MissingKeyMapError? thank you in advance!
This is configured in Swift Framework > Google Maps Auth.
Hi..I have purchased the theme and seeking help for link to the Share button for data-network=”email”. The link shows up as “mailto:?subject=left sidebar test – Cardinal&body=.....”. The subject here should be title of the post.
It is in the /js/function.js file – this is jQuery so it pulls the title of the page. You can adjust this title with Yoast SEO.
Hi..Thanks for your revert. I did check that it is in js/functions.js file. But why is it like –
links += '<li class="email enabled" data-network="email"><a href="mailto:? subject=left%20sidebar%20test%20-%20Cardinal&body=' + permalink + '"></a></li>';
links += '<li class="email enabled" data-network="email"><a href="mailto:?subject=' + title + '&body=' + permalink + '"></a></li>';
Is that what you see in your functions.js file? That is not part of the default theme.
I just rechecked. Downloaded the fresh copy of “Installable Wordpress file only” from downloads page(https://themeforest.net/downloads#) and this is exactly what I see.
Can you please confirm?
Please email us via here – https://themeforest.net/user/swiftideas . We’ll send over the build you should use.
Hi…thanks for passing on the download link. I downloaded and in joyn/js/functions.js, there is a function – articleShare. Line 648 of this file is
links += '<li class="email enabled" data-network="email"><a href="mailto:?subject=left%20sidebar%20test%20-%20Cardinal&body=' + permalink + '"></a></li>';
Can you please confirm?
That isn’t what is in the theme’s code – that is what’s generated on the frontend.
Is Joyn compatible with Wordpress 4.8.2?
Yes it is
Hi, I’ve just updated to worpdress 4.8.2 and latest version of theme and plugins… now my dropdown menus are not working and neither is slider/carousal objects??
Please can you provide a link to your site, we’ll check it for you! Sounds like a plugin issue.
Hi, I recently upgraded to wordpress 4.8.2 and also updated Joyn to the latest version – 2.6.22. The template does not display as expected – for your default content and custom content that has been created. For example, Text automatically aligns to top when it’s coded to be centered (narrative template page) and the contact form does not span 4 columns when adjusting settings with Swift Framework – it remains at 1 column. I see that this template is listed as compatible with wordpress 4.7 is it better to use a older version of wordpress as I didn’t encounter any issues with an older version?
It is 4.8 compatible, are you using the latest Swift Framework version? If you can provide a link, we’ll happily take a look!
Since the last update a lot of things are WRONG. Portfolio galleries not working, parallax losing configuration, image galleries not showing at all, and the most important the mobile menu wrap dissapeared, now when you navigate on mobile and you click on the bars icon, you just get a # on the url, and nothing happens.
What have you updated, the theme or the swift framework plugin? Which version(s) of both were you using previously?
The theme was already updated (2.6.22 version), and the swift framework was at version 2.5.50. This morning it appeared an update for it to 2.5.51, but it won’t work, once you finish the update, it says its done, then you refresh the plugin page, and there it is, 2.5.50 again, not updated.
The funny thing is I thought it could be something with the automatic updater, so i downloaded the last version of your theme from here, and I installed manually the swift framework plugin, but hey! that one is 2.5.43 version… (guess what, when you update the 2.5.43, it will be updated to 2.5.50 xD)
An other funny thing is that in your last changelog (which btw, is 2.5.45, also outdated, and im talking of the wordpress changelog version, if you go to http://www.swiftideas.com/swift-framework/ its even more outdated, last one is version 2.0.0) says ”* FRONTEND: Fixed carousel showcase issue”, that’s not true.
I dont know guys, something is pretty messed up there. Meanwhile my customers cant navigate through the website on mobile devices.
Apologies for that, was something wrong with our update host – it should work as expected now!
As per the note on that page: NOTE: For all further changelogs, please see the Swift Framework page included in your WordPress admin.
If you can provide a link to your site, we’ll happily take a look.
That’s the url of the website. Check it on mobile phones, btw i updated the swift framework to 2.5.52. Nothing fixed.
You have a JS error on your site, please try disabling the script performance option in Theme Options > General > Performance.
That should sort it!
It seems that its working now disabling the “Load pre-minified scripts” option. But why an option of your theme can break the website navigation in that way? An option supposed to improve the performance of the site, it just breaks it instead?
It wasn’t intentional – we have an update released today that will resolve that.
