hey Neuronthemes,
returning customer here, and early fan when Kaon was still the main road for Neuronbuilder. 
I keep returning to Kaon, when looking for a nice ‘does it all’ theme that is versatile, good looking and fast at the same time! it´s still one of the best (– even though, tbh, I would have hoped for more new substantial development on functions, instead of not ‘just’ spreading energies and attention in a myriad of template variations similar to Kaon).
My question, before getting back into Kaon + setting up some website projects with it: is it still a safe bet to build a website based on Kaon? I.e. can it be assumed it will be working with Wordpress and Elementor frameworks the coming 3, better 5 years?

As per your question, I can guarantee you that the Neuron Builder plugin will always be compatible with the WordPress and Elementor plugins, and if it’s not, we’ll release an update of the plugin that will make it compatible as we’ve done before, our main focus is the Neuron Builder, and it’s safe to say that even after 3 or 5 years it will be still compatible and a working plugin.

... actually, ... one PS question – if I may
in the interest of ‘staying on board’ with Neuronthemes in general, and maybe even be able to ‘follow’ the strategy of theme-diversification:
can I re-use / transfer page layouts and templates that I have done in Kaon in other Neurontheme-templates, e.g. via export – import?
that would open up some nice possibilities, and also keep me more at ease with Neuronthemes being rather ‘forward-oriented’ w/ theme development.
such an option would allow for a kind of sustainable model (plan 
in terms of investing design- and editing labor into any Neuron theme….
would be great if you could give a general idea; no need for too many details here

Yes, surely, if you’re planning to purchase any of our themes that are made with the Neuron Builder plugin, for sure that you can transfer the previous work you’ve done with the Kaon theme, and the support team can help you do that.

just a little hint (I have to renew support first, so noting it here for people to find):
new installation went ok; but then I couldn´t find the conditions manager in the Elementor / Neuron editor… almost drove me nuts . – then I found that the new installation auto activates the new Elementor ‘header editor’ (even though it´s marked as ‘alpha’ at same time… )
SO, one has to deactivate that header to have access to all the important settings in the Neuron editor – like conditions.
hope other people don´t run into this labyrinth.
and @Neuronthememes: probably good do find some dealing with this (update Neuron builder? hint in the documentation? whatever ….
now that it´s there, things really start to clear up, with this extraordinary theme builder…

The templates in the Elementor library doesn’t show. I followed this (https://neuronthemes.ticksy.com//ticket/3430217/) from a previous case that I found here but still had no luck in being able to see the neuron library blocks. I tried the local server too using mamp and didn’t work either.

I purchased the Kaon theme for WordPress one year ago. At the time of purchase, I encountered an issue with activating the theme. I reached out for support, and you provided me with a plugin to assist in the activation. However, the theme still couldn’t be activated on its own. I then provided access to my WordPress site, and a few days later, the theme was successfully activated by your team.
Recently, I lost the domain where the theme was activated and I install it on a new Website. Unfortunately, I am facing the same activation issues as before.
I understand that my support period was for six months, and it has now expired. However, given that this is a recurring issue from within the original support period, I kindly request your assistance in resolving it.
I would greatly appreciate it if you could assist me in activating the theme on my new website, just as you did for the previous one.
I try to send a new Ticket for that, but it’s not possible because my purchasing code has expired.

I’m looking at getting this theme. Would I be able to mix some of the elements in your previews? For example, can I use the shop one which is Okarina and add the photography elements which are in Sicilia?
I’m going to use it as an interior design site but not ecommerce for now. Will add the shop later on.

Hi, I tried the Sicilia demo trial. It only shows the blocks and not any kind of builder. The home page on the trial is just a list of images.

You can mix the demos by importing a demo saving the page that you want to use from that demo and resetting your WP, then import the other demo and save the page that you want to use and reset the WP again, in this way, you can mix the demos, or if you need any specific template from a demo, you can tell us and we’ll send you that template.

I’ve really struggled with this theme from day 1. I really love the demos, and the smoothness of the theme and the quality of the design is what sold me, however since I puchased it I’ve not been able to use it AT ALL, since I can’t even get the theme to install properly and to show the components library – again one of the main factors that attracted me. Each time I install it the install process just doesn’t work correctly, as I’m not even presented with a means to activate it using my purchase code – the initial wizard just stops at the last activation stage with no buttons, no fields etc. just a useless message saying I must activate the theme – but no means whatsoever for me to activate it.. so very frustrating. The one time I did manage to install it (using a separate Neuron Builder plugin that the devs asked me to download), so only then could I install the theme, but there were ZERO layouts in the library, just completely empty, so I couldn’t build out any functional site.. I submitted 2 tickets to ask for help, each time I got a half-hearted effort to help me by sending me to completely unrelated blog posts from the Elementor Blog. And now, my ‘support’ has expired so I can’t even get the standalone Neuron Builder zip file to try and figure it out myself once again.. so I’m comletely stuck, having NEVER used this product I paid for. All I can do is write here as a comment and hope that the devs even read this and make an attempt to help this paying customer…

Hello, I noticed some similarities between Kaon and Travelosophy. I really like Travelosophy, but it seems to no longer be updated. Has Travelosophy been rolled in to Kaon or is it better to purchase Travelosophy?

The Travelosophy theme has the same workflow and options as the Kaon theme, as they’re both made with the Neuron Builder plugin.
The difference is the demo templates, the Travelosophy theme is a blog theme, and Kaon is a multipurpose theme, so the decision is up to you to make.
About the updates, nor the Kaon or Travelosophy themes get updated, but the theme plugin (Neuron Builder) will be updated time by time, and via the plugin, we add features to the theme, so when you purchase the theme, you don’t have to update it, just the theme plugin.

The Neuron “Slides” widget has many bugs. - the Ken Burns effect works only on the first slide. Also it will not repeat/reset when the slider has the looping set to ON. Instead the image just stays in its expanded state. The effect should work on all slides every time the slide appears on and on. - The “Initial animation” setting works just sometimes and it makes the title not to show at all. It reappears as soon as you touch or click the slide’s picture. - If you click “Slides” in the Navigator panel nothing happens. You need to right-click it and select Edit Slides to be able to modify it. - This is more a feature request: the slide image is always adjusted to the screen from the left side to the right, which makes it almost useless when watching it on a narrow cellphone screen. There should be a setting from which point should an image be anchored.

Hello. Can you please try this:
Create a new “slides” widget, insert 3 slides (with background pictures) and turn ON the Ken Burns effect individually on each of them.
Does the Ken Burns effect work on all 3 slides or just on the first one?
If it works, does it resets/restarts each tme a slide displays or it leaves the slides expanded?
UPDATE:
I’ve just tested one of your demo KAON themes on your server. I’ve created a Slides widget like described above and it doesn’t work. It behaves exactly the same as on my server. So the bug should be in the widget itself or in the KAON theme.

Hi, I updated my site from Elementor 3.5 to 3.7 and things are broken on it. It seems the neuron builder is the problem, but I am unable to update I have version 1.0.3 currently. Couple of problems in this theme even though we’ve used it for less than a year. 1 – The latest version of Neuron builder according to neuron site is 1.0.6 and the most updated version here on on theme forest is 1.0.3 which is not really compatiable with elementor 3.7++
2 – With latest WP and Elementor update the neuron builder plugin is causing a fatal error which means the site stops working. The only way to make the site work back again is to delete / disable neuron builder. Which leaves us with broken content because the layouts are partially designed with elementor and partially with neuron.
Support will tell us to file another ticket on ticksy, but the problem is not in just one ticket, instead the the compatibility issue and not updating the theme forest version as a whole.
How can we urgently solve this please?

We’ve already released an update of the Neuron Builder plugin (version 1.0.6.0), to make it compatible with Elementor 3.7.0, please update the Neuron Builder plugin by going to Dashboard > Plugins and you’ll see the update button there.
If you can’t see the update there, go to Dashboard > Updates > Check for updates.

This theme has bugs galore! Installation is so sporadic and not stable. Even after installation theres missing content on demo imports, styling issues, etc… We’ve tried using this theme several times, and always the same issues! Its useless!

Once again we tried using this theme and immediate problems!! The mobile hamburger does not toggle at all on Guava. The trigger doesn’t work for the menu pop up! Other customers have had this very same issue so why hasn’t it been addressed? We don’t have time to wait on support when we can’t even view the site on mobile during the construction process??? C’mon guys?
