Hi, the update ins’t appearing on the wordpress udpates tab, nor in the envato market section. How can I update the theme?

I forgot to update the version number in the theme. This is fixed now. You can either re-download the theme on ThemeForest or keep your current version which is in fact the latest.

Thanks, but on my wp it says the version is 1.5.1, and the update log says it is 1.5.3.

Is it possible to update via the Envato Market plugin, like the previous versions, or do I have to re-download the theme? Would this cause any problem?

Hi,

Since the last (automatic) update of the theme, my site doesn’t function anymore. I have all last updates and PHP requirements are fine. 

It seems to be a problem when I activate the WP Bakery plugin, then it says: This theme failed to load properly and was paused within the admin backend.

If I deactivate the WP Bakery plugin, the site works, but not properly…

When I updated to Version: 1.4.6 all of the release pages were screwed up. Now it says “There has been a critical error on this website. Learn more about troubleshooting WordPress.” on each release page or it just goes black. I’m not paying +$58 to renew my support. I’d rather spend that money on a new theme.

Hello, can your players use Vimeo embedded videos instead of just mp3 and have the same functionality and looks? Same as mp3 play next shuffle but instead using Vimeo ID video links. Thanks

Hi, I started publishing events with your Events feature but I see that in mobile one field disappears, so I see only the title of the event but not location. And if I set the calendar not to link to single event page (as I want, I have small events) in mobile I can’t see where the event will take place. Is there a way to fix this? Thanks in advance.

On mobile, the event table shrinks to display the least info possible. So only the date, city and ticket button are shown.

Hi there, Awesome theme, by the way. Found just one thing that bothers me though. How do I change the image that gets “previewed” when I share my whole website. For example, on facebook, I get the attached image as preview (which is actually my logo). I would like to have control over which image to be previewed but WHERE do I find it?

By default the featured image is used. If you want to have control over this, I recommend using Yost SEO plugin.

You will be able to set a specific image for this purpose.

Hello, I love this theme but I have an issue with WPML language switcher. I contacted WPML and they said: “Since issue us happening only with this theme, and theme is not officially on our list of compatible themes, some issues may happen.

I suggest you contact theme support, since they will probably know better which code is causing it, and if they need our help they are free to contact us and join our global program.s”

I can`t contact support because my support has ended. The problem is that WPML language switcher on kayo theme does not display correctly. https://prnt.sc/1qvu651 The dropdown is always open and 2nd language is invisible.

Hi Kayo, I wonder why all of the sudden I cannot see what is on my pages at all. Like the site is working online and all is up but when I go to Wordpress there is nothing, and I don’t speak about even page or similar but regular pages. It is really annoying because I want to change things sometimes, it seems like free pages are better than the buying ones, at least I can change text and everything in time. What do you think the problem is? Thank you

Hi, the thing is my support is over and now I am really struggling with thinking should I buy The Page Builder (which I really wanted, that’s why I purchased Kayo theme at the first place) or should I renew the support, and I don’t really trust that I won’t have the same issue in 6 months. My site is working just the Page Builder has some serious issue with this theme because it won’t update as a plugin and every page that I enter through Wordpress won’t show Page Builder at all, that means I am stuck with what ever I put on the pages before. Could you please be very clear on how to deal with Page Builder in relation to your Kayo Theme, I am sure you have valuable info I can use. Thank you.

First, be sure that the PHP version on your server is at least 7.4.

Besides that, as said earlier, I can’t help you without further info.

There is no known issue about this. Agin, be sure that the theme and all your plugins are up-to-date. This bug might come from a 3rd party plugin. Try to deactivate all your plugins and activate them one by one to find out which one is causing this. ( Please note that we don’t provide support for 3rd party plugins. )

Hi – we’re attempting to use the free download link in the track list like on this page of your demo. https://preview.wolfthemes.live/kayo/release/release-8/. In the demo when you click on the download button the file downloads. On our page, the file opens and starts playing in browser. https://kimberleylocke.me/christmas-in-july/ There are not a lot of settings in the track list, so we’re not sure if it’s not functioning as expected or if we’re missing anything. The download link is a simple link to the file so it open the file in your browser. One must use right click > save as to download the file directly.

Hi, I have issues with my site, it seems WPBakery Page Builder is the problem. Do I need to buy additional premium licence for that plugin, wasn’t that included in this theme? Thank you

Message I get: “There is a new version of WPBakery Page Builder available. View version 6.6 details. Automatic update is unavailable for this plugin. To receive automatic updates license activation is required. Please visit settings to activate your WPBakery Page Builder. Got WPBakery Page Builder in theme?”

Hi there,

You don’t have to activate WPBakery Page Builder or Slider revolution and they’ll work for you regardless of that.

You can simply ignore these messages as bundled plugins do not require activation or registration.

Any time the plugin is updated, you will find the latest version of the plugin in the config/plugins folder of the theme.
