The style.css missing occurs when you install the theme incorrectly.

Kinetika is compatible with WordPress 5.6

How you are updating WordPress without updating the theme or plugins is not the correct way to do it. The theme needs to be updated if you are updating WordPress.

If you update WordPress while keeping the others old then it can cause problems. This isn't applicable only for this theme. This is in general for all WordPress themes. If you install any WordPress theme then you will need to update it prior to updating of WordPress.

There are many ways you could have contacted us. Through items comments, through the forum or mailing us through our profile. But we have received no contacts from you looking to solve this.

WordPress dot org is a forum based support as well and we use a similar system for our support.

You'll have to update the theme and plugins first and then update WordPress last. Updating just WordPress can lead to problems because it is going through major changes since WordPress 5.4.

WordPress 5.5 and 5.6 are major changes. So it is important to update the theme and plugins first.

Hi, You'll need to update the theme as well if you update WordPress 5.5+. It is fully compatible with WordPress 5.5.1.

WordPress 5.5 came with lots of changes. So to match those changes you'll need to update the theme to latest which should get everything working.
