hello I see you mentioning an update. Any estimated time for release? will this bring wpbakery & woocommerce templates up to date? I currently have the newest version installed but I still have messages woocommerce templates are outdated & wpbakery shows a newer version available. thank you!

Hello,

If you contact us via our support forums, we can provide you a patch that will address both of these questions. As for an update, it is in the works but haven’t perfected it’s development for release yet. We can provide you a patch though that will remove the mentioned WooCommerce warning (which works fine even with the warning, and does not hamper its use) and also an update to Visual Composer.

Our support forums are available here: https://owmlabs.ticksy.com – we look forward to assisting you further.

Hi! Still waiting for the update. Can you add that feature where full image thumbnail fit inside such as if the height is too tall, it get to fit in there without part of the images get caught. I’ve seen other skins do it, but my friend like your skin. Can you also add other feature like zooming and magnifier? I need this for the shop. Lots of themes come with them for the same price and the have like 30 different theme look to choose from. Try to compete with them. Once this is updated with new features, you’ll sell another 20,000 more copies. Trust me.

I just have to add that note! The theme main attraction is on website and tablets. It looks unattractive on phone which is what people use. Can you make it look more decent? There a feeling you guys aren’t 100% active anymore. There’s a feeling it’s only a side project.

Hello,

I’ve been extremely sick this past week and haven’t had much of a chance to follow up on things – though today I did reply to your past tickets and provided you with a patch regarding your previous questions. Please see your ticket on the forums for those details.

As for your suggestions, we are always happy to hear suggestions from our buyers and will certainly place them on our ‘Wish List’ for review, but at the moment we are working towards releasing our next feature release and so these may not make it on that release but will be considered for our next upcoming releases.

It is always better to use our forums for making suggestions, as we can more easily keep reference of those verses comments on here.

While there are lots of themes that come with nifty features, each theme is unique and serves a specific niche, in our case, it’s more of a photography theme than a shop, but does have capabilities to be used in other manners as well.

1.) Zooming + Magnifier is something in the works for the future.

2.) Not sure I understand the thumbnail feature.

3.) Not sure what is wrong with the mobile version as our theme is fully responsive using the Foundation framework. Though we do encourage your feedback on the forums and we will follow up with those and if by chance there are issues, we will also address those.

I can also assure you this is not just a ‘side project’ and has a lot of new features in the works for our next major feature release, 6.0, as well other features planned for the near future after that release. We do appreciate your feedback and thoughts though.

Once more, I do apologize for my delayed responses, I promise going forward those should be more prompt. Thank you.

Is this theme fill doesn’t support RTL, As i saw in comments you said you will add RTL support before 4 years?

Hello,

Thanks to interest in our theme.

We does support the RTL using WPML. Also, For RTL support, Just you need to add custom Style CSS and fonts from the back-end Theme options. After adding, It flip the text direction.

Thanks, Kumar Sekhar

I like this theme and never regret purchasing it. One thing I have to say is our hard work done building our sites using this theme are total waste should we ever want to change theme for a fresh look because of the method you use. First, upload the pics to gallery and control them via creating page. You can’t use picture on you uploaded media. You must upload those even if they are the same pics. If you wanna change the look for a week, you have to start from scratch. You went to a great length to make sure what we do don’t stay our own. I purchased this theme because of the menu style and FancyBox buttons. I soon find out the menu doesn’t look the same on mobile devices meaning people will never see it the way I was hoping they would because most people don’t use desktop or big tablets.

Hello,

First off, glad to hear you’re not regretting your purchase.

Secondly, you’re not the first to offer concern over not being able to re-use uploaded media files and that is something we are working on and will be available in our next feature release, version 6.0 that is due out really soon. It’s actually one of the big reasons we’ve been delayed in our release of it is properly handling this major change.

We have to be considerate of our 18,000+ other buyers using the theme and how best to handle the change and adaptation. When we first released this theme, there was a very different use of WordPress and since then Media has greatly changed and its change was hard to accommodate in the way we developed our theme originally.

There are certainly was we could have resolved this sooner but it would have complicated the use of our theme for the 18,000+ other buyers and we need to be considerate of their use. To make this change so it didn’t affect them or hamper their ability in updating.

So I can assure you, in the upcoming release, this will be capable, reusing images that exist within the Media gallery already.

As for the menu, I apologize that you do not like that but it’s the intended design. Using the menu you see on desktop would not be a logical option on mobile, as it would require taking up the entire screen and it wouldn’t work. The mobile menu is logical, it’s intended and it’s using the Foundation framework to build out that responsive environment.

If you’re truly unhappy with the menu, with some developments, you can modify the code so that the mobile menu does not display, but it will cause a chain reaction that would include other modifications to perfect the mobile view and is unfortunately not something we would cover as part of our support.

We do have a non-responsive version of our theme, it is HTML however, but if that’s your preference you could also use it instead.

Please note that buyer support is exclusively available to our Support Forums, while we always appreciate buyer feedback, it’s better to offer it in the forums where it can be retained and easily organized for future reference and use.

- Bryce Wisekal

The menu style on the mobile is nice. We can all agree that the desktop version is nicer. Can you add a second home where we can display many things instead of a slider. I created a page. It’s ok but I’ve seen better home pages on some theme and I have trouble creating them such as recent posts, featured things and so on. I like how some themes display them so nice. You have a very nice theme.

If you want to further customize the theme to suit your specific needs and likes, we’d encourage you to seek out developments – either through us, or another developer. That said, as mentioned before, I have to encourage you visiting our support forums for any further correspondence regarding buyer questions and comments. We do not provide buyer support in the Themeforest comments.

Hi Bryce,

Firefox reports “The connection is not secure”. “Parts of this page are not safe, such as graphics.” I am using an SSL certificate. I have disabled plugins step by step. Unfortunately no improvement.

Greetings, Stephan

Hello,

Hard for us to help determine the reason for this without access to your website but I can confirm that our theme is fully supportive of SSL certificates. If you require further assistance we would encourage you registering for our support forums: https://owmlabs.ticksy.com and posting your questions (and use a private ticket to provide us with login credentials to review more closely). Unfortunately we do not provide buyer support here on Themeforest comments.

HI! I need help I upgrade theme to 5.1.11 from very old modified version 2, but now the admin panel is very slow! By slow I mean clicking the menu items, save, update take a while. You just see “Waiting for…” which takes around 10-13 seconds to load :( When I switch to another theme (even to Kingsize v2) the admin panel works fine but when switch back it is very slow!

But in the Front end part works really well ! Any idea what should I do?

Thanks!

Hello,

We would strongly recommend you updating your version of the theme, not only due to features but also due to vulnerabilities in those earlier versions of our theme – particularly, the use of Timthumb.

Several scripts have since depreciated, as well functionality and will likely be the cause of your issues. Version 2.0 was released I believe in the first year of our pushing out this theme so there has been a drastic change. Including the fact that our theme is no responsive.

The framework itself has entirely changed so there will be features that require being configured to make things work correctly that you would have missed out on when updating per-version we released. Seeing as you cannot ‘leap-frog’ through the updates now, instead, going directly from 2.0 to 5+, its going to require a bit of work.

You’ve mentioned having a ‘modified version 2’ and depending on those modifications, the method of updating may vary. You may have to update those modifications to correspond with our latest coding, features and functionality – you’d have to first identify those changes.

That said, we do offer updating services and normally have a flat rate fee associated with updates (ie., $35.00) but unfortunately this does not apply to versions that old as there are extra steps necessary in updating, as well, cannot be done with modified version of our theme, as that often requires extra efforts.

My suggestion would be to contact us privately via our website, https://www.ourwebmedia.com and inquire about our services to update the theme and potentially carry over those developments made after reviewing them.

Let me know if I can be of any further assistance. Please note that buyer support is available on our support forums, https://owmlabs.ticksy.com and we’re happy to help the best we can.

Thank you for the detail answer !

The website works pretty fast and I have no issues with that. The only problem is the admin page which has a lot of delay every time I click somewhere or trying to update ! Like I said is ~10sec .

Here is the website: http://www.vladibalevski.com/ It’s completely different UI than you theme, but the backend is yours !

Thanks !

I’m not going to lie, that’s very odd because that is definitely not our theme and while its possible to change the theme with developments, that is a LOT of change. I also see reference to another theme in the view source coding – which isn’t our theme, but yet at the same time I see several references to our theme in the source code.

I am very much intrigued. Would it be unacceptable of me asking you to contact us privately so we can inspect your website? Using our profile, https://themeforest.net/user/owmlabs you can send us a private message. Would you be willing to share FTP and WordPress admin access?

We won’t make any changes, I’d just really like to get inside and explore what the heck is going on. That’s definitely not our theme, but there is lots of code that is. I also see it running the latest version of our theme code and even references our latest version.

I’m baffled!

Hi

Will it be possible for you to send me the patch file for other plugin updates. My support has ended

Hello,

I apologize for not responding sooner. For buyer support, we do require you accessing the support forums, https://owmlabs.ticksy.com – there we’ll happily provide you with any ‘temporary patches’ we may have available, or plugin updates.

Otherwise, we’ll have to ask you wait until we release our next update, which we hope is going to really soon. Thanks.

Hi, whether after buying this template I will get information where to buy photos used in this template

Hello,

Thank you for your interests in our theme. The photos you’ve mentioned, all that are included in our demonstration are licensed for use under ‘Creative Commons’, which means you can re-use them.

Unless otherwise stated, almost all our photos are taken from Flickr.com, though there are a few in our theme that come from other resources. Anything that is no licensed under Creative Commons will not be including in our demo-content provided on purchase but those are very few.

Let us know if we can answer any additional questions.

I moved on from this theme to something else now. I don’t want to work hard and lose everything once I use another theme. This theme owns everything you do and won’t share your files with other themes. So I decided to start from scratch now than later. I want a refund :(

Hello,

We cannot please everyone with our theme and should you choose to move on, we understand and wish you all the best. Though this comment regarding ‘this theme owns everything you do and won’t share your files with other themes’ makes absolutely no sense. We do not own anything you do. It’s your website.

Yes, like many themes, we use our own shortcodes and when you switch from our theme to another, you’ll have to update your content, that’s not unheard of or an unethical practice. In fact, it’s common!

You cannot expect themes to seamless work when switching from one theme to another, unless you build it all out from a third-party resource dependent within the theme – for example, let’s use Visual Composer (Page Builder). If you use a theme that only applies a skeleton to your website, themed, but then uses native features within Visual Composer, than switching themes would be less painful.

Though as such, many themes have their own ‘Visual Composer Elements’ custom to their theme, so even moving, those elements would then break because they will no longer exist in the new theme you’ve switched to.

Everything you upload and build out while using our theme, is essentially transferrable. Excluding custom post-types, because alike to custom elements, those were custom to our theme and if the corresponding theme you’ve switched to doesn’t have those custom post-types, than those would not be switched without work needed.

I apologize that you’re unhappy, but what you’re stating here has not justice. It’s to be expected and its unfair you should choose to bad mouth our product when this is something so common in theme use.

That said, as for a refund, if you’ve purchased within 15 days, we will gladly provide a refund. However if your digital purchase has exceeded this 15 day refund period, than we apologize but a refund is not possible.

We are happy to assist you, as always mentioned before, if you choose to use our Support Forums were we regularly (and actively) assist our buyers with their questions.

Hi ! Does this theme supports RTL ? I need this theme for a Hebrew wordpress website.

Hello,

I apologize for not responding sooner. I do however believe you perhaps were the one who contacted us via email and I did already reply to that. If you are not the same person please let me know and I’ll happily reply with more details here.

In short, at this time we do not offer RTL support but as mentioned, happy to work with you to ensure our theme can support it and function as intended. I just need a helping hand with someone who knows RTL.

- Bryce Wisekal

Hey Bryce, I’ve purchased and installed the theme and immediately got PHP warnings. Can it be that you’ve forgotten to put single quotes around the “media_upload_to_new” part of the add_action command on line 779 of your functions.php file? I would gladly submit a pull request but I wasn’t sure if you have a public repository for this theme or not.

Hello,

Thanks to share your findings. Currently we don’t have any public repository. Corrected the above fix into the functions.php and add it for next version release.

Alright, no worries, and thanks for correcting the bug. I think you’re also not supporting PHP 7.2, could that be right? I found another issue in the way that count() is used. So far only encountered it in “admin/functions/functions.mediauploader.php”, line 127. My dirty fix was to wrap that whole section in this check: if ( is_array( $_posts ) ){

That makes sure the argument being passed to count() is in fact an array.

Perhaps there are more issues across the plugin when it comes to PHP 7.2 if you’re not officially supporting it yet. Happy to help, though of course, would be far easier if there was a public repo. :) (Or maybe a private repo that only buyers have access to?)

Hello,

I apologize for not responding to this sooner – my partner had responded the first time and had assumed he replied back when you replied afterward.

For further support, we always encourage our buyers to use our support forums. We will do our best to promptly answer all your questions and provide any additional details and solutions you may require within the scope of our buyer support.

Thanks!

how can I add my favicon image?

Hello,

There is an option in our theme for assigning a favicon. We’d be more than happy to elaborate on this and how it works but would encourage you using our Support Forums: https://owmlabs.ticksy.com for your buyer support.

We look forward to seeing you on the forums to further assist.

Hello, I’ve updated wordpress and noticed that even with latest update of KingSize I got the following error in nginx error.log “FastCGI sent in stderr: “PHP message: PHP Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Call to undefined function get_template_directory() in /website/wp-content/themes/kingsize/index.php:16” before I didn’t noticed anything similar, is something you have to address in the next update?

Thanks

Hello,

Not an error we’re familiar with at this time and would suggest you open a ticket so we can further explore it. We also recommend that you review our Troubleshooting Tips that is available in our Support Articles on our forums: https://owmlabs.ticksy.com – if you open a private ticket you can share login credentials (both Admin and FTP) for us to take a closer look for a more rapid response and solution to be offered. Thanks.

- Bryce Wisekal

Is there any plans for a retina ready version? As a photography / portfolio theme I would have thought this would be absolute top priority.

Also, are you still actively managing this theme as the last update was almost a year ago. As I run my business through this theme I would appreciate an honest answer to know whether I should switch to another theme.

Thanks in advance.

Jesus Christ! Come on… basic customer service…?

Almost a month after the so called release date, still nothing!

I’ve replied to your other comment. Please see details there. I apologize that I was unable to respond but I was away from town, but my partner did follow up on your other comment. Is there any issues that you’re running into? If so, let us know and we’ll do our best to help.

- Bryce Wisekal

This is a LAZY seller. He made a fortune out of this theme, but too lazy to give it a decent update. My money just got wasted.

I’d have to disagree with us being ‘LAZY’ as you say. There are authors out there who completely abandon their themes and offer absolutely no support to their buyers. Those would be considered as ‘lazy’ in my opinion.

The fact that we actively and routinely support our theme and buyers, is far from being lazy. You can read my previous response to another buyer about our feature release being worked on.

We reply to all our buyers timely and effectively with support.

Money not wasted at all because it’s a functional theme.

Though one thing I must say is since day 1, you’ve been extremely rude to us. We’ve always been polite and responsive to you and if you’ve nothing but complaints, than perhaps best to just use another theme?! We cannot satisfy all people out there. We do our best, but it’s impossible to satisfy all.

- Bryce Wisekal

Hi, When V6 is releasing?

As soon as it’s made available, an announcement will be sent out if you’re subscribed to update notifications. This can be done via “Themeforest > Downloads” and checking the notifications beside your purchased theme. If you’re having any issues in the meantime, please don’t hesitate to drop us a long via our support forums, https://owmlabs.ticksy.com and we’ll help you out immediately.

Will v6.0 support Gutenberg?

Feature request – SVG support for logo with fallback to PNG fir older browsers.

Hello,

Yes, v6.0 will be made to support Gutenberg.

For feature requests, we encourage you using the support forums for this, https://owmlabs.ticksy.com as we can better categorize these requests there verses a comment on Themeforest. Thanks.
