Thanks for the help, theme works flawlessly.

I purchased this theme and need to know the best way to change the color of the text in the FORUM HEADER ?

It’s defaulting to the same color as the background so the text can not be read.

Please advise.

Much thanks, AC

Hello David.

Can you post the solution for the first category comming a url.

Thanks in advance.

Sandra Moreno.

Is there a way for user to publish articles? and admin can set to auto accept or moderate?

also does this work with wp-navigate? Because I am looking to post series of articles under 1 title. And/or the comment collapse can be automatic.

hi David can you post a solution for auto hide comment on default ?

Hello all, for those who have problems with first category URL .

i made this new function, to solve it, maybe it can help you!!! first, i decide to use a wordpress function that returns an array. thenk construcft the rest.

you have them here: http://pastebin.com/LWqMypag

this file is located on: settings/custom-functions.php (line 59)

does anyone know how to make the article full width without side bar?

does author support this theme anymore? is there a way to limit the title on new article posted? the title got too long and mess up the design

Hi Superthang. I’m afraid that the theme doesn’t support this natively. You could try this approach: http://wordpress.org/support/topic/limit-for-title-length – But it involves delving around in the code a little. Thanks.

I have also sent you an email, but trying here as well just in case that email account doesnt resolve.

It seems that images embedded using the wordpress tool float left, right correctly – but that the text does not display alongside it, but underneath it.

I am tearing my hair out with this. Thanks in advance.

i got a weird problem.. the category description is showing up as the title and the URL is showing up as the description

need help asap

sorry – ignore..

Hello David,

Can you post the solution for the first category comming a url on the main site of the KnowPress Theme.

Thanks in advance. Manuel

Hi David, I am having the same or a similar problem that sagive but I couldn’t solve it.

The problem occurs only when the first category is displayed. Instead of display every item in the correct order (Title-URL and descriptcion), I get the description on the title and URL of the category on the description.

What’s the problem?

My webpage is http://www.ponerescuela.com/

I am using Wordpress 3.0.2.

Hi – I think this is due to the language setting in WordPress admin. Could you try swapping it to English, and see if it fixes the problem?

Is there are way to get rid of the question mark graphic in the banner. I’m not super familiar with CSS so I don’t really know how to customize this theme.

Also, is there a way to change the support graphic and text as well as the text for the various headings? e.g. “Featured Articles”, “Article Categories”, etc.?

And if there’s a document or website somewhere that has more info on how to customize this theme, that link would be very helpful.

I bought this theme, now its showing something really really weird…

http://vindictusinfo.com/category/evie/ is the link..

This is a very sharp theme!! Really happy so far.

Just a little note – I’m running this on IIS , and was getting very bizarre behaviors when the Archive.php template was in use – PHP was being printed on the page and odd comment tags injected.

The issue was that the PHP on this page sometimes tarts with ”<?”, which Windows gets confused by.. changing these instances to ”<?php” fixed the issue right away.

Hope this helps someone down the road :)

I got this error after installation on wordpress 3.0.3

The following themes are installed but incomplete. Themes must have a stylesheet and a template. Name Description KnowPress Theme Stylesheet is missing.

Need help please. Thank you in advance :confused

Still getting a ””; wp_list_categories(‘orderby=id&show_count=0&title_li= &use_desc_for_title=1&child_of=’.$this_category->cat_ID); echo ” ”; ?>”

when I go view all posts in a category

Hi David,

I had that first category title/discription problem, too.

I switched the language to en_US and it solved the problem, but in fact that is no real solution.

Can you somehow try to make a workaround, so that I can use the theme and keep my WordPress backend in any other language than English?

Thank you in advance!
