The theme broke the website and there isn't much flexibility in using the theme.

It seems that your current theme version is not compatible with the WordPress version you are running.
Please update the theme to the latest version - 1.1.6 https://documentation.bold-themes.com/changelog/konstrakt-changelog.txt
Please make sure to update the Konstrakt plugin and Bold builder plugin as well once you update the theme.
You can update the theme from wp-admin using the Envato Market plugin - https://www.envato.com/lp/market-plugin/ or manually as described in the theme documentation: https://documentation.bold-themes.com/konstrakt/theme-customization/ , section 3.12 Update theme
Related to the flexibility, please note that you are not right - quite the opposite. You have full flexibility in terms of page layout and structure. You can add rows, columns, rearrange elements, add new ones, remove existing.
You just need to do the structural changes in the backend editor of Bold Page Builder.
Anyhow, if the theme does not work for you, and you do not intend to use it, you can submit a refund request here: https://themeforest.net/refund_requests/new and we will approve it.
