I downloaded this theme for May’s free file of the month, and I’m having an issue with the demo importer. it gets stuck at 0%. I tried different browsers and I’m having the same issue on all of them.

Make sure to check the downloaded folder > Demo Data > content.xml and with this file import it through the Tools > Import.

Dear ModelTheme. You need to update your documentation and way how you delivering photos for demo content..
First – I couldn’t import the demo by Theme Options -> Demo Importer. Import stuck on 0% for long time.
Then I tried way you explained in support old messages: Tools -> Import -> Wordpress Import – generates errors about not downloaded images. Website looks bad.

So website is still awful. I’m waiting for update.

Firstly, make sure the PHP requirements are set correctly in order for the upload to be done completely in one go. You can start with post_max_size and upload_max_filesize to be set to at least 125MB and max_execution_time to have the time doubled.
Secondly, we do not provide the images because we don’t have the permission from the creators to sell them along side our theme package. They are used for advertising purposes only and is stated in the product page.

I see that the demo content has already been uploaded, to change the homepage is not necessary to go in the Import Demo and re-import it every time, change the homepage from Settings > Reading.
The images purchased by us is permitted for a single use, is not fair to distribute them despite the guidelines and not fair for the creator.

I thought my issue was a glitch since I’ve never had this problem with a theme from you before, but looking at the other comments, I’m not so sure anymore.
The Konsulting theme froze and wouldn’t load at all for me. Tools—Import isn’t working either. Please advise.

Hello, There is problem with the footer menu. When i add the menu to footer it replace the menu from header and start showing footer menu in header. This theme has two menu options, whatever menu I set it goes to the header only. How to fix this problem?

As I can see In the Appearances > Menus, this theme supports two Menus and has Three option in Menu Setting 1) Automatically add new top-level pages to this menu 2)Primary menu 3) Footer Menu My question was regarding this footer menu. It is not working, As I said earliar.
Yeah I can set the footer using the above method, But Why footer menu is not working in the Appearances > Menus ?
Because the theme was not designed to accept a footer menu through Appearances, those Footer Rows are populated with widgets only and was normal to go with a widget navigation menu as well.

The slider is fine in desktop view but in mobile view it cuts off, along with other aspects of the theme. Any help please.

The responsiveness of each slider can be modified from the Slider Revolution Settings panel.
Because the theme was downloaded as free, we can’t provide any extra support or help. You can submit a ticket to our support team (you need to purchase the theme in order to be able to do that).

It’s because of a customisation you set to those two text blocks, remove the ” width: 545px; ” in the style of the heading and check again the responsiveness.

Thanks a lot. Resolved the issue. Last question (hopefully!), how to do I edit MT – Contact? I want to edit the fields that show up as default, e.g I do not want the Subject font. But I could not find any info regarding it in the documentation. Thanks!
To edit the contact form go at this path in the theme’s files : wp-content/plugins/modeltheme-framework/inc/shortcodes/mt-contact/mt-contact01.php

Make sure to increase the memory allocated to your website, check with your web hosting provider to do it for you or yourself through the cpanel dashboard and increase the memory_limit PHP requirement.

hi, i too am trying to install the demo content. I’ve gone as far as uploading the content.xml file but when i click on Submit to Import Attachments, I get a 500 Internal Server Error error. Please advise.

Because the adjustments of your hosting does not meet the necessary requirements to allow importing the content, there is simply not enough space.
Make sure the PHP requirements are enough for our theme: post_max_size = 125MB; upload_max_size = 125MB; memory_limit = 256MB;

I downloaded this theme for May’s free file of the month, and I’m having an issue with wpbakery page builder. The below error occurred and wpbakery page builder is not working.
Elements within this list are deprecated and are no longer supported in newer version of wpbakery page builder.
I believe the theme needs to be updated which is compatible to version of WPBakery Page Builder. Please let me know how to update theme.
