Hi there, when I import a demo on a new site. I run into this error:
An error occurred while fetching file from: https://example.com/wp-content/themes/landkit/assets/demo/xml/service.xml! Reason: http_request_failed – cURL error 6: Could not resolve host: example.com; Unknown error.
I’m confirmed with my hosting that they are not the issue, so now I’m wondering if everything is good with the theme?
ps. example.com is used as an example as I didn’t want to share the main website publicly. The website in question is NOT example.com, but the error would be the same.

Okay, so I’ve used the standard ‘wordpress importer’ plugin and it works instead. So I guess, problem kind of solved.
We’ve seen similar issues with the One Click demo import plugin. The other most likely reason could be related to permissions.

One of the limitations of this theme is the language support. It is supposed to be that you can have your website in several languages but in the front end there is any section to add the language switcher in an elegant way. Please add this simple feature to get the theme perfect. In my opinion, the most elegant way could be creating a new menu are smaller than the main one, to be able to put several links, for example the language switcher.

By default WordPress does not support multi-lingual websites. However there are plugins like WPML, Polylang, Weglots, etc that allows you to extend WordPress to create multi-lingual websites.Please note that support for these plugins are outside of our support scope. You can enable language switcher in header by using multi lingual plugins.

first of all: thank you very much for your awesome theme. Since some days we are facing an issue with your Landkit Elementor plugin (v.1.0.11).
The Elementor is unable to load (editing mode) when this plugin is activated. If I deactivate Landkit Elementor plugin all editing, etc. runs smooth and without any issues: So the Elementor bug can be reduced to dysfunctional Landkit Elementor plugin (v.1.0.11).
In the meanwhile I have read in your comments that PHP v.8.1 may causes some difficulties. This is why I have changed my PHP back to v.7.4.
However, this does not solve the issue. The Landkit Elementor plugin remains constantly unfunctional although all other environment is updated (WP, Landkit theme, Landkit plugin, all other plugins).
Do you have any idea of how to fix that? I am very much looking forward to your answer.

Hi Team,
We are having a problem whereby we have built the website on our main domain, australianwebexperts.com.au, however there seems to be another version of our website on the .com domain itself.
When we go to any of our inner website pages, and omit the .au on the end of our domain, there appears to be another version of our website without the proper typography and images. This is really strange, since we haven’t built the website on the .com version of our domain at all.
This appears to be an issue with the theme itself, since this issue has only occurred since we made our website live on this theme.
Is this a known issue/ feature?

Thank you for purchasing our theme and for reaching us. I accessed the .com version of your website and it redirected to .com.au. However, the issue you described when we access .com from the inner pages.
The reason for the issue is .com website is trying to load .com.au resources like the Font from the .com.au domain which is blocked by the browser owing to browser’s CORS policy. You can view the errors from the browser console.
There is also additional errors thrown by the pro elements and card plugins that you’ve installed.
Do you not own the .com of your domain? A theme does not have the scope to install itself on 2 different domains. So we can conclude that the issue is not due to the theme. You can verify this by switching to WordPress’s default theme and the issue will be there ( only themes that load fonts, icon fonts will face these issues because CORS blocks only resources like font files ).
I noticed that the .com of the home is being redirected to .com.au using a 301 http code. This is generally set at the place where you would manage the domain. If you own the .com domain you can configure the redirect properly otherwise you’ll have to reach out to the person owning the .com domain and setup the redirect properly.

Thank you for purchasing our theme and for reaching us. From the import error messages, I think you’ve not imported the SVG files. By default, WordPress disables SVG files upload. Please install and activate a plugin like this: https://wordpress.org/plugins/safe-svg/
Once you’ve done that, try importing again.
Alternatively, you can use Landkit’s templates feature within the Elementor editor to import the template that you wish.

The theme requires installing two components:
Landkit Elementor / Landkit Extensions
I can’t install these components, due to the above restriction on my server. I need to download these components to start a manual installation.

Is it possible to change the main color scheme ?

Thank you for purchasing our theme and for reaching us. Apologies for the delay in response. We were closed for the long weekend last week in our country.
To answer your question, you can change the color locally as well as globally:
1. Globally: You can edit any page with Elementor and then navigate to Elementor Editor’s Panel > Hamburger Menu > Site Settings. In that you can choose the “Primary” color.
2. Locally: You can select any element that you want to edit and then choose its “Style” tab to change the color.
Please note that the above 2 changes will not work on demo content that is imported already. However, we are releasing an update today that will allow you to change the color globally for imported demo content.
