The theme is broken. I find many comments about the sidebar issue and it wasn’t solved at all. Support keeps asking the ticket number for no reason. Not recommended. Do not buy this item!

Hello! My client wants to use this theme, but has some specific questions:
  • If the opening home page has different choices of leaves or other art work from which the message scrolls out to the left and the right?
  • How many characters fit in the wording the scrolls out
  • Gallery: How many different layouts do you have for the Gallery page. We like the collage-style in the demo but curious if there are other options. Is there a limit on the number of pictures we can use total and/or per category? How easy would it be for a layman (re: my client) to add new categories and/or images in the future?
  • Slide show: Can you stop it? Get back to it easily? Have a tab that says slideshow?

So when we do the following. 1. Indtall and configure Wordpress 2. Buy this theme. 3. Upload the theme to wordpress What would be the next step?

Becuase I want only to change the text it possible and some areas. Will this be easy?

And will it remote for example the wordpress posts etc?

Thank you for your interest in our themes! This is exactly what you should do plus 4. Delete the pages and post you don’t need. 5 Replace the demo content ( text,images ) with your own. This is how most of the clients handle the theme and take advantage of the demo content. If you don’t try to build new pages or change the design of the demo one, it is extremely easy. Hello I just bought the theme, I installed and activated it. After installing the various recommended plugins, I end up with an HTTP 500 error that prevents me from accessing my site. Nothing since. I could try uninstalling and reinstalling Wordpress but I’m afraid of losing my license

That wasn’t the answer to my question, but it doesn’t matter anymore. I was going to buy the theme but when I researched and tested the issues I discovered a lot of technical issues. Also “Wp Bakery, elementor” etc. It’s too bad it wasn’t made with such an editor. It is both much more expensive and has serious technical problems. I will not buy anymore.

Latest update breaks the individual service page template (the one with the menu on the left). Max Mega Menu & CubePortfolio are still a nightmare to optimize for faster loading on a mobile device, same as they’ve been for years. I rolled back to a previous version, will wait until things are stable again to update.

Hi there, I tested locally 14.4 and it works without flows. Ensure all plugins and WP is up to date. Deactivate third party plugins ro rule out conflicts. Re-upload WP, theme and plugins to rule out missing or corrupted files. This is the standard testing procedure. We also use WP-Rocket and we’ve done the best possible optimisation possible with Slider and so many animations – https://landscaping.vamtam.com/ . CDN also helps a bit. It is a simple rule – the more Javascript the worse the result. Regards: VamTam

https://wordpress-864187-3032571.cloudwaysapps.com/services/gardens/ this is test, clean installation on Cloudways. All caching (Breeze, Redis & Varnish) is turned off. Not surprisingly, Cube Portfolio (the biggest issue creator, constantly) breaks the page – layout and left side menu are full width and it also breaks mobile responsiveness. It’s on WordPress 6.1, VamTam 14.4 with no other plugins besides the demo/theme plugins

Jetpack is causing the mysterious sidebar to appear yet again. I put in a ticket for a bug (though support has expired it is a “known bug,” for those thinking of buying the theme search sidebar and you will see just what the bug is). The response was inadequate and rude. This is a known bug that shows its ugly face every few months. Before you ask or assume, I am not an idiot, and yes all plugins, themes and WordPress are up to date as well as caches cleared to immediately respond to your other elementary responses.

Sorry for your experience. What is your ticket number to check the communication with the support team. Currently we are not aware of any bugs related to Jetpack.

The support team doesn\t have access to this board and without admin credentials it is hard to comment on what is causing this issue. Try deleting the theme from the admin panel and then installing it again. I just installed the theme here with the latest 14.3 version and it works fine – https://landscaping.demo.vamtam.com/

I have some issues with the theme after purchase, some content was missing after import a demo content, I already opened a ticket #76482, but am getting a too late respond from the team, and still the problem is not fixed.

The tab to manage Testimonials in the admin panel sidebar has disappeared, meaning that you cannot add or edit reviews.

To determine whether it was an issue on my side, I created a test website and imported the demo, and the problem is also present on the demo import. The tab for Testimonials is not there, and in the case of the demos, the animated loading icon is infinitely spinning, and on the Classic Demo, the layout is broken.

You will be able to replicate the issue by doing a demo import; alternatively if you log in to the demo website and everything is up to date, I suspect, Testimonials will not be in the sidebar.

I’ve submitted a support ticket with the login details to the demo import I have completed. Thank you in advance for investigating this bug.

Hi. I’m using the projects module for showing a grid with the projects and it was working fine but I realized that now there is an error. I enabled the option for opening the project picture or pictures in a lightbox (“Simplified project page in a modal”) and now, when clicking the picture, it shows the error “AJAX Error! Please refresh the page!” and de Devtools console shows this one: “Failed to load resource: net::ERR_TOO_MANY_REDIRECTS. jquery.min.js?ver=3.6.0:2 GET https://xxxxxx/ net::ERR_TOO_MANY_REDIRECTS… Any idea which can be the problem? Hi there,

It seems that the Jetpack plugin (included with/needed for this theme) v10.7+ is incompatible with the latest version of the theme. This is what’s causing the left sidebar issue that many others have commented about. Are you able to release a theme update that makes these two compatible rather than asking me to send a support ticket? My support has expired, but this is clearly an incompatibility issue for many others, too.

Hi there,

As mentioned – I know where the issue is coming from. It’s a theme incompatibility with the Jetpack plugin. I also mentioned that my theme support expired. I don’t particularly want to pay $60 to submit a ticket for a theme/plugin incompatibility. The last theme update was released about 6 months ago. I’m simply asking if you will release a theme update that fixes the incompatibility. Based on previous comments, it’s an issue for many others as well and should be covered by a theme update, not personalized support.

HI there, if you are reporting a bug you don’t need a support licence. Please open a ticket providing admin credentials. However I am not aware of issues coming from the latest theme version. The latest version is from 25 of may -https://vamtam.com/changelog/. So probably you are running an old theme version. Regards: VamTam
