The theme is compatible with WP 5.8. To avoid any issues please install Classic widgets editor plugin recommended by Wordpress team for full compatibility with 5.8 – https://wordpress.org/plugins/classic-widgets/
Also, please update all bundled plugins directly in the Dashboard and keep the theme components up-to-date with ThemeRex Updater following the guide: http://legrand.themerex.net/doc/#getting_started_theme_update

Woocommerce plugin is not integrated in the theme by default. You may install the plugin, however you may need to create additional stylesheet for shop/product pages. WPBakery plugin has stopped working for this theme. I have installed the latest files (Legrand version 1.2.2) on a test site and imported the demo content and the backend editor only shows a heap of code for all pages. How do you suggest I resolve this given I have paid for this theme? I will not renew my support because this basic function should be working – as you advertise!

We have just received the information that vulnerability issue has been discovered in ThemeREX addons plugin starting from version 1.6.49.5.
Please follow the next steps in order to fix it:
1. Remove plugin.rest-api.php file from wp-content/plugins/trx_addons/includes folder.
2. Remove this line from trx_addons.php file from wp-content/plugins/trx_addons folder (line 96):
require_once TRX_ADDONS_PLUGIN_DIR_INCLUDES . ‘plugin.rest-api.php’;

I installed the latest version of the LEGRAND theme (1.2.2) I was able to update the plugins provided with the theme automatically except WpBakery! I have the following message: “To receive automatic updates license activation is required. Please visit Settings to activate your WPBakery Page Builder. Got WPBakery Page Builder in theme?” With the latest theme updates I didn’t have this problem! How to do ? I know that support for LEGRAND item has expired, I can’t longer go through the support but could you help me fix this?

The Update of the Child theme from 1.0 to 1.2.2 is not working. It offers the update again and again but stays with 1.0. Can you fix that please?

1. Please go to wp-content/themes/your-theme-name/css/font-face/ and create a new folder with the name of your font (without spaces).
2. The new folder has to contain a @font-face kit, which would load your custom font on a webpage. Create it with the help of the Font Squirrel Generator.
3. Make sure that the name of your new folder corresponds with the font-family value in the stylesheet.css.
4. Go to Typography > Load fonts in the Customizer, enter the custom font details and save the changes.

Just one more, I’ve been trying to find where can I edit the footer and header layout and content as I need to follow certain design for it. It would be a big help. Anyway regarding about the font it works. Thank you.

Please edit header and footer in admin panel->Layouts. In case there are a few identical fragments on different pages you can create the necessary fragment through WP dashboard menu > Layouts > Add new option.
Each layout has a Type parameter which can accept values:
Header – the layout is applied only to output in the header’s area. It appears in the list of available headers.
Footer – the layout is applied only to output in the footer’s area. It appears in the list of available footers.
Custom – the standard layout fragment intended for use with the Layouts shortcode for an insertion in several pages.

The latest version of WPBakery does not work with this theme. It causes a the backend editor to appear blank/white when you try to edit an element.
I was able to get WPBakery to work again with the theme by installing version 5.7 of the plugin.
WPBakery is currently on version 6.0.3. I’d appreciate it if you could update the theme to support it.

Our theme is compatible with Gutenberg page builder. You can create new pages using this editor, though you can still use pre-built custom header and footer layouts.
All existing demo pages and layouts are created using WP Bakery Page Builder and should be customized using WP Bakery Page Builder ONLY.
You may try using the SuiteDash or WP-Client plugins with the theme. In case some additional stylesheets are needed for its full compliance with the theme, our Customization studio can create them for you for extra fee.

Tell me, I downloaded the template and I had to put it on the main page of the blog. I put it, but the articles are not loaded on it, and the cap shrinks. Blog examples on a separate page and on the main (empty). What could be the problem?

Hello! why hide featured image on single post is not working and why I can’t show sidebar on blog page and single posts.
Under Appearance>Theme Options>Blog we have Sidebar position set to right, but it doesn’t display.
Also under Appearance>Theme Options>Blog>Single Post we have “Hide featured image on the single post” checked but the featured image still displays.
Also under Appearance>Theme Options>Plugin settings we have “Disable post type Services” checked but the /services page still trys to call services custom post type. We want to use visual composer to make /services page that does not rely on services CPT.
We really love the theme but need your help with these issues. Thank You!

There seems to be the issue with your server settings some of them block sample data import. It can be Safe mode or allow_url_fopen = Off.
We would recommend you to contact your hosting provider and ask them to enable ON in allow_url_fopen or disable Safe mode.
