Good morning! I am curious of this theme and wanted to use it to display short stories that i write. I am not looking to sell books. instead I am wanting to make a webnovel website. is there a word count limit? would this theme work for an ongoing webnovel?
There is count limit. You can use it for ongoing theme if you are satisfied with the way the layout is presented as it is.

Yes, the theme utilizes the WooCommerce plugin which allows you to sell digital products. So you can sell e-books directly to your website. Also you can make external products and add links to other websites where they are sold like in the case of Amazon – for example: http://subsolardesigns.com/leona/product/bright-skies/ .

Thanks for replying to me quickly! I’ve seen that you use the “WYSIWYG editor” to make users read short excerpts from the book; in my case of having books in “PDF”, should I use a plugin, so that users can read the books in “PDF” format? I really liked the reading style of your theme, as it matches the most different screen formats! If you need to use a plugin, the read button would be the same one that already exists on your site; or do i have to create a new button style? Thank you in advance for your understanding!
I was thinking here; the “Leona” theme allows me to have a “free books” page where only pdf books will appear for reading and downloading; and another “store” page, where the books for purchase will appear, with their respective descriptions and prices; then you can use your “WYSIWYG editor”.
The book reader of the theme needs the book content to be entered in the corresponding text area in the dashboard. It will not show PDF content from a file. All the described PDF features will need additional customizations and features that the theme, unfortunately, doesn’t come with.

1. There isn’t any additional contect restriction functionalities in the theme different than the usual WordPress ones. The theme utilizes the WooCommerce plugin for the books – they are Products in WooCommerce. You would need to add some 3rd party plugin to manage such membership and restricts products or content on the website. We cannot recommend such a plugin as we haven’t tested any and cannot guarantee that such functionality will work out of the box.
2. You can check other example pages in the theme from the Pages dropdown in the navigation. The theme uses the Elementor page builder which gives you the flexibility to create your page layout as you would like – by placing and adjusting elements wherever you want. 3. No, there is only the one shown in the demo. If you want to implement a different one you will need to customize the theme.

Hello after installing i cannot activate the Leona Functionalities plugin from version 1.04 to 1.05 which is required to get the demo content imported and probably other things. Can you post or email the update plugin? Its going to prevent us from getting this completed

1. The theme doesn’t have native RTL support. Most of the layout is done via Elementor which provides a lot of options for the content to be right aligned. But in some cases you might need some customizations to have everything RTL.
2. You can try adding some plugin for that. The theme doesn’t have such functionality. We haven’t tested such so we cannot say for sure it will work everywhere in the website.
3. Where do you want those buttons? There are such buttons for example in the Single Book pages and in the Blog Posts. For other places you might again need to customize the theme or use a plugin.
4. You will need to customize the theme for that. Currently the book previews are added via a WYSIWYG editor similar to how you write a blog post. So you will either need to lock that content in some way or customize the theme so it is a different method to show the content. It’s on every single page. All pages call for the Google API.
Please copy the attached file into the theme directory of the Leona Functionalities plugin in your-wordpress-directory\wp-content\plugins\leona-functionalities\elementor and overwrite the existing file.

Hi, is free ones (0 price or blank) automatically ready for download? Is it possible to make it read only, disable download and link it to a suitable flipbook or pdf viewer? (if you have additional plugin or work for this, you can make a reference too). In the product page you can add buttons which lead to an external website where the book is sold/read – like in this example linking to Amazon http://subsolardesigns.com/leona/product/bright-skies/. You can do the same in the free example – when the product is free. I guess you are referring to this in the first part of your questions. As for reading after a purchase – there isn’t an option for example to unlock a specific page with a flipbook/pdf viewer after a purchase. When a user purchases a digital product, he gets a file of that product. That file can be anything. Thank you for your response. Can you do this customization for us and give an estimated cost (if so)? We have only ebook products with just pdf and epub format (just pdf will do too!). After purchase, product should be available in account download section right? We want to let the customers read online; disable download button, just read button. The theme requires Elementor, WooCommerce and Advanced Custom Fields PRO (which comes with it) and Leona Functionalities (custom theme specific plugin that comes with it) for its functionality. There are also some plugins that are recommended but not required like Mailchimp and Contact Form 7.
As for your other questions – yes, it is possible. The them utilizes WooCommerce for the products so it can be used to sell everything. Have in mind that the theme is designed to work for books so there might be some styling that you need to readjust if you want to display something different (for example the book cover animation on hover is quite specific for books)
How can add a header background on the shop page?

When you select to edit the Shop page, there are multiple options for the page header which you can adjust, Make sure you have also installed and activated all required plugins for the theme, most importantly the Advanced Custom Fields PRO plugin (it comes with the theme)
Does this theme includes sales through paypal?
